When attaching or removing the hood, hold it near the r symbol on its
base and avoid gripping it too tightly. Vrgnening may occur if the hood is
not correctly attached.

• The fluorine-coated front and rear elements of the teleconverter can be
cleaned simply by wip i ng them with a dry doth. Smudges and finger-
prints can be removed using a soh, clean cotton clo th or lens cleaning
tissue; clean f rom the center outwards using a circular motion. taking
