Focus II Mid-Size How To
Prepare for use
1
This is how the
machine should look
when you enter the
room.

Unplug battery charger.
Wrap cord accordingly.

Inspect recovery tank,
empty debris catch
cage then lower the lid.

Fill solution tank with
water (do not exceed
130°F). Add appropriate
cleaning chemical.

Add clean water to
tank. Lift lid and add
detergent cartridge. Do
not mix detergent in the
tank (machines with chemical
mixing system only).

Inspect squeegee
blade, install squeegee
on machine and attach
recovery hose to the
squeegee inlet.

Inspect brush or pad.
8
Install brush or pad-
holder under the deck.

Install brush for
Cylindrical models.

Turn on machine. Verify
there is enough battery
power to complete job.

Use yellow palm
switches to move
forward and white
button for reverse.
Adjust speed of
machine as needed.

Review operator
controls. Prepare for
use.




Scrubbing
1Adjust speed if needed.
Lower squeegee. 2While in motion, press
the one touch scrub
button then adjust the
solution flow rate.
3 Release palm switches
to pause. Press reverse
button for backward
motion. Press one
scrub button to stop
scrubbing.

Use the extra pressure
button for heavy soiled
areas (disc and Boost
machines only).

Vacuum on/off. Vacuum
only to pick up water.
Turn vacuum off for
double scrubbing.
6 Install red pad and
maroon pad for
chemical free stripping.
Add plain water to the
solution tank.

Pre-wet stripping pad.
Adjust to slow speed

Lower squeegee and
engage extra pressure
to begin scrubbing

Flip pad when it
becomes worn. Scrub
floor before laying down
new finish.







Storing the Machine & Daily Maintenance

Empty recovery tank
and solution tank.
Empty water in suitable
drain or bucket. Rinse
recovery tank. Empty
and rinse debris catch
cage. Check gasket
cover.

Remove, inspect and
rinse squeegee blades.
Remove, inspect and
rinse pads. Hang to dry.
3
Remove, inspect and
rinse cylindrical brush.
Empty debris hopper.
Charge batteries and
wipe down exterior.
Weekly Maintenance
1
Inspect water level in
batteries (add distilled
water if needed – do not
overfill)
.

Remove and rinse
solution filter.
3 Purge the chemical
mixing system (if
equipped)
.
Occasional Maintenance
1
Lubricate machine;
equalize batteries –
charge fully then
recharge two or more
times.

Annually or after 300
hours inspect carbon
brushes on the vacuum
motor (performed by
Authorized Clarke
Service Center)
.
3
Annually or after 500
hours inspect carbon
brushes on the drive
and brush motors
(performed by
Authorized Clarke
Service Center)
