STARTING STEPS

bodyguard® must be used exclusively
with a microSIM. Insert, when bodyguard®
is off, the microSIM card with the gold
contacts facing the display, in the slot on
the side .
bodyguard® will turn automatically on
when you insert the microSIM. If not,
then keep the side button pressed
for a few minutes or connect the power
supply cable.
Please check that are present 2 dots
that indicate the network signal.

Connect the USB cable to the USB
power supply, then connect the other
end of the USB cable to the connector
on the bodyguard® to complete the
recharging cycle (the first cycle will take
about 2 hours).
When the battery is fully charged,
disconnect bodyguard®.
ATTENTION !
Please check that the microSIM
is active, without PIN, voice support,
SMS and traffic data in GPRS mode

Download the bodyguard® app, digit nilox
bodyguard, available free of charge at:

Start the App and touch JOIN NOW to create
your profile.

Create your profile: enter the telephone number
of your Smartphone SIM and a password (6/8
characters) to create your personal account.
Press NEXT to access your account.
If you previously created a profile, skip this step.

An Sms containing a verification code will
be sent to your Smartphone.
Copy the code within 120 seconds and
press SIGN UP to continue.
If you do not complete this operation within
120 seconds, you will be asked to repeat it
after a pause of min. 20 minutes.

If your bodyguard® SIM was issued by
an operator not found in the following
list:
- Italy: Tim, Vodafone, Wind
- Spain: Vodafone, Movistar,
Orange, Yoigo
- France: Orange
- Greece: Vodafone
Proceed as follows to use your
bodyguard®:
A) Insert the SIM and make sure
the bodyguard® is on.
B) Ask your operator for the APN MCC
and MNC (example: mobile.vodafone.it
or ibox.tim.it, etc.).
C) Click LOGIN in the homepage; if
the application is already open, select the dropdown menu at the top right in
the main window and touch LOGOUT.
D) Select option SET APN FOR BODYGUARD.
E) Enter the bodyguard® SIM phone number  (in the first line of the next
screen), l’MCC l’MNC and APN .
F) Click SEND.
G) After several seconds the bodyguard® will receive an SMS and restart.
This operation must be carried out exclusively at first use.

You can activate your bodyguard® in three
different ways.
To associate it, press ADD and select the
method you intend to use:
Scan QR CODE
Press SCAN QR CODE.
Frame the QR code contained in the
bodyguard® package with your Smartphone
Take a photo of QR CODE
Press EXTRACT QR CODE FROM ALBUM.
If you have photographed the QR code
contained in the bodyguard® package,
select the photo in the album on
your Smartphone.
Enter ID NUMBER
Press ADD BODYGUARD BY THE DEVICE ID.
Enter the ID / Key numbers viewable on
the bodyguard® display after pressing
for 5 seconds the Y button (the
bodyguard® must be switched on).
The QR CODE can be found
in the bodyguard® package.
