STARTING STEPS
EN
bodyguard® must be used exclusively
with a microSIM. Insert, when bodyguard®
is off, the microSIM card with the gold
contacts facing the display, in the slot on
the side .
bodyguard® will turn automatically on
when you insert the microSIM. If not,
then keep the side button pressed
for a few minutes or connect the power
supply cable.
Please check that are present 2 dots
that indicate the network signal.

Connect the USB cable to the USB
power supply, then connect the other
end of the USB cable to the connector
on the bodyguard® to complete the
recharging cycle (the first cycle will take
about 2 hours).
When the battery is fully charged,
disconnect bodyguard®.
ATTENTION !
Please check that the microSIM
is active, without PIN, voice support,
SMS and traffic data in GPRS mode

Download the bodyguard® app, digit nilox
bodyguard, available free of charge at:

Start the App and touch JOIN NOW to create
your profile.

Create your profile: enter the telephone number
of your Smartphone SIM and a password (6/8
characters) to create your personal account.
Press NEXT to access your account.
If you previously created a profile, skip this step.

An Sms containing a verification code will
be sent to your Smartphone.
Copy the code within 120 seconds and
press SIGN UP to continue.
If you do not complete this operation within
120 seconds, you will be asked to repeat it
after a pause of min. 20 minutes.

If your bodyguard® SIM was issued by
an operator not found in the following
list:
- Italy: Tim, Vodafone, Wind
- Spain: Vodafone, Movistar,
Orange, Yoigo
- France: Orange
- Greece: Vodafone
Proceed as follows to use your
bodyguard®:
A) Insert the SIM and make sure
the bodyguard® is on.
B) Ask your operator for the APN MCC
and MNC (example: mobile.vodafone.it
or ibox.tim.it, etc.).
C) Click LOGIN in the homepage; if
the application is already open, select the dropdown menu at the top right in
the main window and touch LOGOUT.
D) Select option SET APN FOR BODYGUARD.
E) Enter the bodyguard® SIM phone number  (in the first line of the next
screen), l’MCC l’MNC and APN .
F) Click SEND.
G) After several seconds the bodyguard® will receive an SMS and restart.
This operation must be carried out exclusively at first use.

APP - bodyguard® association
You can activate your bodyguard® in three
different ways.
To associate it, press ADD and select the
method you intend to use:
Scan QR CODE
Press SCAN QR CODE.
Frame the QR code contained in the
bodyguard® package with your Smartphone
Take a photo of QR CODE
Press EXTRACT QR CODE FROM ALBUM.
If you have photographed the QR code
contained in the bodyguard® package,
select the photo in the album on
your Smartphone.
Enter ID NUMBER
Press ADD BODYGUARD BY THE DEVICE ID.
Enter the ID / Key numbers viewable on
the bodyguard® display after pressing
for 5 seconds the Y button (the
bodyguard® must be switched on).
The QR CODE can be found
in the bodyguard® package.

APP - bodyguard® association
After bodyguard® is paired to your profile, you are allowed to add up to maximum
6 Followers (secondary users).
The Followers are additional users who can:
- follow bodyguard® (example: your wife, your husband, a relative,...)
- check the bodyguard® position
- communicate with bodyguard®
- receive all alarms
To add a Follower, perform the previously described operations.
When the QR code is scanned (or read with the previously mentioned methods),
the main user (Master) will receive a confirmation code, via SMS or via push
application, that must be communicated to the Follower: this way s/he will be
authorised to follow bodyguard®.

Enter the name you want bodyguard® to
use to recognise you (your name, mother,
father, etc.); the name you have specified will
appear in the bodyguard® address book.
Enter the name to be assigned to the
bodyguard®.
Press NEXT to finish.

Start the App and press LOGIN.

Enter your phone number used to create
your account and the password.
Press LOGIN to continue.
If you set YES on REMEMBER, your
credentials will be saved for the
next login.

Select the bodyguard® that you want to
follow (example: bodyguard Thomas) or
if you select TRACK ALL BODYGUARD you
can see all bodyguard® associated with
your profile on a single map.
Main account = Master
Secondary account = Follower

Open the Extra Functions menu and
select ADD BODYGUARD to add an
additional bodyguard® to your profile
(up to a maximum of 6).
Press LOGOUT to exit the app.

AUTO REPLY
When you activate this function,
bodyguard® enters in Auto Reply
mode.
From now on, when you press CALL,
bodyguard® automatically responds
to the incoming calls (after 3 rings
unanswered).
LANGUAGE
It allows you to change the bodyguard®
language on the clock.
This function can be activated only by
main user (Master).
SHUTDOWN
It allows you to shutdown the bodyguard®
at a distance. For safety reasons, only in this
mode it is possible to shutdown (turn off)
bodyguard®
This function can be activated only by
main user (Master).
ACTIVITIES
It allows you to view all events in
chronological order.
DETAILS
It allows you to view the details of
bodyguard®.
UNBID
It allows you to clear the association
between your account and bodyguard®.
If this is done by the main user (Master)
bodyguard® will also be removed from
all other accounts (the secondary user
- Follower - will have the option not
follow).

Enter a picture/photo to
customize your profile
Enter your name or how you wish
to be displayed in the address book
of bodyguard® (example: dad,
mom,...)
Enter the name you want to assign
to bodyguard® (example: your
daughter’s name, your car’s name,
your dog’sname, ...).
This function can be activated only
by main user (Master).

The protected area is a security zone
that you can set to control bodyguard®
in defined space.
It allows you to return to the
previous screen

GSM SECURITY STATION OF THE LAST TELEPHONE CELL
RECEIVED FROM BODYGUARD®
This position is not the most precise, but it may provide an additional
approximate source of information in the event that no more precise
localisation position is available (GPS or Wi-Fi).
SMARTPHONE POSITION
On the Smartphone, you must activate the GPS and allow the App to
access at this informations.
ACCURATE BODYGUARD® POSITION
Indicates the precise bodyguard® position specified by the
GPS/Wi-Fi/Hybrid signal.
Always take the tolerance area into account.
