Thanks for choosing bodyguard®.
The electronic bodyguard® manual can be downloaded from the
Nilox website at www.nilox.com. Enter the bodyguard® code in the
search eld at the top right: 2NXBOTRGP001 (bodyguard® black),
32NXBOTRGP002 (bodyguard® lime green), 32NXBOTRGP003
(bodyguard® purple), search for the technical sheet and download
the complete manual.
This product is warranted in accordance with the applicable law;
therefore the need for technical assistance and/or warranty, contact
your dealer.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
This product may contain substances that can be
harmful to the environment and to the human
health, if not disposed of properly. We therefore
provide you the following information in order to
prevent the release of such substances and to
improve the use of natural resources.
The electrical and electronic products should not
be disposed of in the normal household waste, but should be
properly collected in order to be correctly treated. The symbol of
the crossed bin shown on the product and in this page reminds
the need to properly dispose of the product at the end of its life. In
this way you can avoid that a non-specic treatment of the
substances contained in these products, or an improper use of
parts of them can lead to harmful consequences for the
environment and human health. Moreover, you can contribute to
the recovery, recycling and reuse of many of the materials
composing these products. That is why the manufacturers and
distributors of electrical and electronic systems organize the
proper collection and disposal of the equipment themselves. At
the end of the product life please contact your dealer for
instructions regarding the collection. When purchasing this
product your distributor will inform you of the possibility to
replace your old device with a new one, on condition that the type
of product and its functions are the same or, if the dimensions do
not exceed 25 cm, EEE (Electrical and Electronic Equipment) can
be returned without any equivalent product purchase obligation.
Any disposal of the product dierent from what described above
will be liable to the penalties foreseen by the laws in force in the
country where the product is disposed of. Moreover we suggest to
adopt additional measures favourable to the environment:
recycling the inner and outer packaging and properly dispose of
used batteries (if any). With your help we can reduce the amount
of natural resources used for the realization of electrical and
electronic equipment, minimizing the use of landlls for the
disposal of products and improving the quality of life by
preventing to release into the environment potentially dangerous
substances.

DISPOSAL
The product contains a battery which must be
disposed of separately from general household
waste. Dispose of batteries in the appropriate
containers for the disposal of batteries. The
collection and recycling of batteries contribute
to the protection of the environment and to the preservation of
material resources, while permitting recovery of valuable materials.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
• One year, if invoiced to a company or professional (with VAT
number).
• Two years, if scally described as sold to a private citizen.
• This warranty is referred to in the event a conformity defect occurs,
referred to product features.
• Product support and warranty. Visit www.nilox.com to learn more.
• Warranty restrictions: this warranty does not apply in the following
cases:
- No proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).
- Tampering, forcing and damages on the hardware and screen,
created for any reason.
- Other defects to: inappropriate use, unauthorized
hardware/software changes, operations or storage beyond
technical product specications; incorrect maintenance;
defects due to the use of software other than that supplied
and all those elements (hardware and software) not designed
to be used with the product.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the
2011/65/CE and comply to directive 1999/5/EC of the European
Parliament and the European Commission, referring to radio
equipment and telecommunications and their mutual recognition.
The declaration of conformity is available at our oce and on-line to

used in all countries of the European Economic Community, and in
all countries applying 1999/5/EC Directive, without restriction
except for: Italy(IT): This device complies with the National Radio
Interface and meets the requirements on the allocation of
frequencies.The use of this equipment, outside of the environments
in which the owner operates, requires a general authorization.

bodyguard® must be used exclusively with a microSIM. Insert
the microSIM card with the gold contacts facing the display, in
the slot  of bodyguard®.
bodyguard® will turn on automatically when you insert the
microSIM.
Connect the USB cable to the USB power supply, then connect
the other end of the USB cable to the connector  on the
bodyguard® to complete the recharging cycle (the rst cycle
will take about 2 hours).
When the battery is fully charged, disconnect bodyguard®.

Press Next to access your account.

code within 60 seconds and
press Sign Up to continue.
If you do not complete this
operation within 60 seconds,
you will be asked to repeat it.

ASSOCIATING YOUR BODYGUARD® EN
ATTENTION !

1To associate your bodyguard®,
press press Scan QR code.
Frame the QR code contained
in the bodyguard® package
with your smartphone.
2Enter the number of the SIM
inserted in the bodyguard®.
3Enter the name you want
bodyguard® to use to recognise
you (your name, mother, father,
etc.). The name you have specied
will appear in the bodyguard®
address book.
Enter the name to be assigned to
the bodyguard®.

KEY FUNCTIONSEN
SOS
SOS mode is activated by holding down the Y on bodyguard®.
bodyguard® will place a call and send an SMS to the master user,
and send SOS notications to all associated devices via the app. It
will also turn on LIVE TRACKING mode (warning: high battery
consumption!).
In SOS mode, the Yicon on the bodyguard® display will continue to
ash until deactivated using the interactive map in the app (refer to
complete instruction manual) using the Cancel SOS command.
PLACING AND RECEIVING CALLS WITHOUT USING SOS MODE
Press the button on the side  to access the address book. Press
the button on the side  again to scroll through the numbers in the
address book. Press Y to select the contact to call.
Select the arrow  to return to the main screen after pressing Y.
When bodyguard® receives a call, press Yto accept the call or
press the button on the side  to reject the call.
MISSED CALLS
To consult the list of missed calls, press Y once on bodyguard®
and access the list of missed calls.
Press the button on the side  for at least 5 seconds to exit.
RESTARTING BODYGUARD®
Hold down the button on the side  for at least 15 seconds to
restart the bodyguard® when it is associated. For personal safety
reasons, bodyguard® cannot be turned o from the watch. Only the
master user can turn o bodyguard® using the app.

ENGENERAL INFORMATION
Bodyguard® is updated every 10 minutes. If position is still the same
as the last time it was measured, it is updated every 20 minutes.
When SOS mode is on (turned on using the SOS button),
bodyguard® will place a call and send a text message to the master
user's smartphone. This activates the Live Tracking function, which
sends SOS alarms to all the smartphones connected with
bodyguard®.
To turn o SOS mode you must press "Cancel SOS" on the interactive
map.
The battery will last about 4 days under optimal conditions.
The SOS function requires continuous use of GPS for positioning
and therefore drastically reduces battery duration, so that the
battery will last only a few hours. Poor reception of the GSM signal
may further reduce battery duration.
To increase battery life, bodyguard® automatically goes into
stand-by mode between 10 PM and 6 AM.
In this mode, the display is turned o and updating of position is
suspended; any movement will reactivate standard bodyguard®
mode.
When the bodyguard® battery level is decreased to 10 %, a push
alarm will be sent to the associated smartphones.
bodyguard® will automatically activate power-saving mode, which
uses only the Wi-Fi signal and LBS (disabling GPS).
GSM SECURITY STATION OF THE LAST TELEPHONE
CELL RECEIVED FROM BODYGUARD®
this position is not the most precise, but it may provide an
additional approximate source of information in the event
that no more precise localisation position is available (GPS
or Wi-Fi).
SMARTPHONE POSITION
turn on GPS on the smartphone.
ACCURATE BODYGUARD® POSITION
indicates the precise bodyguard® position specied by the
GPS/Wi-Fi/Hybrid signal.
Always take the tolerance area into account.
Bodyguard® can only be turned o from the master user's
smartphone App > ShutDown.
One bodyguard® may be connected to up to a maximum of 6
smartphones. One Smartphone may be connected up to a
maximum of 6 bodyguards®.
Bodyguard®, whenever it detects a position, it will upload to the
server. Using the "history" in the app you can consult for a few days
the various bodyguard® positioning.
To recover the password associated with your prole, select Forgot
Your Password ? on the Login screen. This procedure allows you to
reset your password.

SMALTIMENTO
Il prodotto contiene una batteria, alla ne del suo
ciclo di vita deve essere smaltita separatamente
dai riuti generici indierenziati. Gettare negli
appositi contenitori per lo smaltimento batterie.
La raccolta e il riciclaggio delle batterie
contribuiscono alla tutela dell’ambiente e alla conservazione delle
risorse materiali, e permettono il recupero di materiali preziosi.
INFORMAZIONI SULLA GARANZIA
• Un anno, se fatturato a impresa o professionista (soggetto IVA).
• Due anni, se descritto scalmente come ceduto a privato.
• Tale garanzia e' riferita al caso in cui si manifesti un difetto di
conformità, riferito alle caratteristiche del prodotto.
• Supporto al prodotto e garanzia. Maggiori dettagli sono

• Limitazioni di Garanzia: la suddetta garanzia non si applica in
presenza di:
- Mancanza della prova di acquisto (fattura o scontrino scale)
- Manomissione, forzature e danno, su parti hardware o display

Inserisci la scheda microSIM, con i contatti dorati rivolti verso
il display, nello slot laterale  di bodyguard®.
bodyguard® si accenderà automaticamente all’inserimento
della microSIM.
Collega il cavo USB all'alimentatore USB, quindi collega l'altra
estremità del cavo USB al connettore  presente nel
bodyguard® in modo da completare il ciclo di ricarica (per il
primo ciclo di carica si consiglia un tempo di circa 2 ore).
Quando la batteria è carica, scollega bodyguard®.

SOS
Tenendo premuto il tasto Y di bodyguard®, verrà attivata la
modalità SOS. Bodyguard® eettuerà una chiamata e invierà un
SMS all’utente principale, invierà notiche SOS via App a tutti i
dispositivi associati. Inoltre attiverà la modalità LIVE TRACKING (alto
consumo di batteria!).
Nella modalità SOS, l’icona Y sul display di bodyguard® continuerà
a lampeggiare sino a quando non verrà disattivata dalla mappa
interattiva nella App (vedi manuale completo) tramite il comando
Cancel SOS.
EFFETTUARE e RICEVERE CHIAMATE SENZA ATTIVARE SOS
Premendo il tasto laterale  , avrai accesso alla rubrica. Premendo
nuovamente il tasto laterale  si potranno scorrere i numeri
presenti nella rubrica. Per selezionare il contatto da chiamare,
premere il tasto Y.
Selezionando la freccia  tornerai, dopo aver premuto il tasto Y,
alla schermata principale.
Quando bodyguard® riceve una chiamata, premere il tasto Y per
accettare o premere il tasto laterale  per riutare la chiamata.
CHIAMATE PERSE
Per consultare le chiamate perse, premi una volta il tasto Y di
bodyguard® e accederai alla lista delle chiamate perse.
Per uscire tenere premuto il tasto laterale per almeno 5 secondi.
RIAVVIARE BODYGUARD®
Tieni premuto il tasto laterale  per circa 15 secondi per riavviare
bodyguard® quando é associato. Bodyguard® , per ragioni di
sicurezza personale, non può essere spento dall’orologio. Lo
spegnimento di bodyguard® avviene solo tramite la App da parte
dell’utente principale.

Bodyguard® si aggiorna ogni 10 minuti. Se la posizione dall’ultima
rilevazione é rimasta invariata, l’aggiornamento avviene ogni 20
minuti.
Quando la modalità SOS è attiva (attivabile dal pulsante SOS)
bodyguard® effettua una chiamata e invia un SMS allo Smartphone
dell'utente principale (Master).
Viene così attivata la funzione Live Tracking che prevede l’invio di
allarmi SOS verso tutti gli smartphone collegati a bodyguard®. Per
disattivare la modalità SOS occorre premere il pulsante "Cancella
SOS" visualizzabile nella mappa interattiva.
La batteria, in condizioni ottimali, ha una durata di circa 4 giorni. La
funzionalità SOS, poiché richiede l’uso continuativo del GPS per il
posizionamento, riduce drasticamente la durata della batteria a
poche ore. Una cattiva ricezione del segnale GSM può ridurre
ulteriormente la durata della batteria.
Per aumentare maggiormente l'autonomia, bodyguard® attiva
automaticamente la modalità stand-by dalle ore 22:00 alle ore 6:00.
In questa modalità il display viene spento e l’aggiornamento della
posizione sospeso; un qualsiasi movimento riavvierà la modalità
standard di bodyguard®.
Quando il livello della batteria di bodyguard® è pari al 10 %, verra
inviato un allarme (push) agli Smartphone associati. bodyguard®
attiverà automaticamente la modalità basso consumo che utilizza
solo il segnale Wi-Fi e LBS (disabilitando il GPS).
STAZIONE DI SICUREZZA GSM DELL’ULTIMA
CELLA TELEFONICA RICEVUTA DA BODYGUARD®
tale posizione non é la più precisa ma può essere
un’informazione aggiuntiva e approssimativa nel caso
non siano disponibili altre posizioni più precise di
localizzazione (GPS o Wi-Fi)
POSIZIONE DEL TUO SMARTPHONE
attiva il GPS sullo smartphone
POSIZIONE ACCURATA DI BODYGUARD®
indica la posizione dettagliata di bodyguard® data da
segnale GPS/Wi-Fi/Hybrid.
Tenere sempre conto dell’area di tolleranza
Bodyguard® può essere spento solo dallo Smartphone dell'utente
principale App > ShutDown (Spegni).
Un bodyguard® puo essere connesso no ad un massimo di 6
smartphone. Uno Smartphone può essere connesso ad un massimo
di 6 bodyguard®.
Bodyguard®, ogni qualvolta rileva un posizionamento, eettua
l’upload verso il server. Utilizzando la funzione “storico” presente
nella app é possibile consultare per alcuni giorni i vari
posizionamenti eettuati da bodyguard®.
Per recuperare la password associata al tuo prolo, seleziona la voce
Forgot Your Password (Password dimenticata) ? nella schermata
Login (Accedi).Questa procedura permette il reset della password.
