FOURCASTER USER GUIDE
Getting Started
Installation
1. ⚠ WARNING! Always make sure your eurorack system is turned off before installing a
new module. To be on the safe side, pull the plug before you start!
2. The 10-pin connector should already be connected to the Fourcaster with the red stripe
on the power cable oriented towards the bottom, matching the white line and -12V
marking.
3. Connect the free end of the power cable to the 16-pin Eurorack header on your power
supply system. The red stripe on the cable should match the white line (-12V marking)
on the bus board.
4. Attach the module to the rails of your case using the included screws.
5. Power on your Eurorack system. You can now start using the Fourcaster.
Introduction
The Fourcaster is a unique 4-channel crossfader a.k.a. interpolating scanner. Once you start
working with it, you'll soon discover how you can create very complex sounds simply by
morphing different sources. In short; mix four separate input signals, manually or by control
voltage. When turning the central knob (Channel Scan), each input fades (morphs) from one to
the next completely seamless. Or even better, let an envelope generator or LFO do the job for
you. A LED beside each channel clearly indicates which one is active.
❶ Channel Scan
Manual control for sweeping between the four input channels.

Input jacks for audio or control voltage.
❸ Width
The WIDTH knob basically lets you expand the transition window between channels.
❹ Scan Mod
Use the Scan Mod input to control the Scanning/transition via CV. The input is mixed with the
setting of the Channel Scan knob, and together with the Mod Level knob, you have perfect
control over the process. Plug in an LFO, a sequencer or envelope generator to create evolving
sounds or crazy complex CV signals.
❺ All Chan
The All Chan knob basically controls all channels simultaneously, expanding the sound shaping
capabilities even further. With CV via the All Chan Mod input, the Mod Level attenuator will
determine how much you want to open up the channels. If unplugged, the knob will act as a
master control for all four channels.
❻ Lag
By adding some lag to the CV input signal you can slow down the transition. Infact, you can
even feed it with a GATE signal and still get a smooth fade through all channels.
