Nokia Media streamer User manual


Please use the power adapter provided by the manufacturer,
Do not use the power adaptor if it is damaged.
Please avoid to touch the power adapter with wet hands.
To avoid any potential risk of electrical shock or damage do
not disassemble or modify the Nokia Media Streamer.
Please keep the Nokia Media Streamer away from any
heat sources to avoid damage. The device should be kept
in a dry and well-ventilated area away from dust that may
cause fire or electric shock.
Please promptly shut down and unplug the device power
adapter if it begin emitting smoke or any unpleasant odors.
Please unplug the device power adapter when not in use
for a long periods of time.

1. The Google Assistant button can be used only when the R/C is
connected to your TV via bluetooth.
2. There are two connection modes for R/C, one mode is IR connection
with red indicator and another mode is bluetooth connection with
blue indicator. Once R/C has been paired with Nokia media Streamer,
it would be stuck in BT connectivity.
3. The indicator would flash red quickly in Bluetooth connection mode
when the voltage of R/C batteries is low.
4. You can download relevant "File Manager" app to browse the
screenshot pictures stored in memory.

Install Remote Control Batteries
Place two AAA size batteries in the remote control's battery
compartment, making sure to match the polarity markings inside the
compartment.
Precautions For Using Battery
Improper usage of the battery will cause leakage. So follow below
instructions and use carefully.
1. When the batteries' voltage is insufficient, the indicator would flash
red quickly 5times or 3seconds once one button is pressed, please
replace old batteries with new batteries.
2. Remove the batteries from the R/C if you do not intend to use it for
a long time.
3. Do not use different types of batteries (for example, Manganese
and Alkaline batteries) together.
4. Do not put the battery into fire, and charge or decompose the
battery.
5. Please dispose batteries abide by relevant environmental
protection regulation.
6. WARNING: The batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall
not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

Please refer to below pictures and instructions to connect
Nokia Media Streamer.
Note: Please turn off all equipment (such as Nokia Media
Streamer and TV power) before connecting.
Step1 : Plug the Nokia Media Streamer into the TV’s HDMI
port.
Step2 : Use the power adapter to connect the Nokia
Media Streamer and TV. Plug the power adapter into A/C
outlet.
Step3 : Turn on the TV and switch the signal input of the
TV to the correct source.
Step4 : Vertically attach the IR receiver onto visible area
such as wall or TV bezel via white double adhesive foam.
Note: Some USB ports don’t provide enough continuous
power. You need to connect with A/C power outlet
directly.

Choose whether to set up your Nokia Media Streamer with
an Android device or skip this step. If you choose Yes,
please refer to the Bluetooth Pairing section of this user
guide.
To pair, place the remote on pairing mode by holding down on both the volume down and the OK
button within 30 centimetres of the Nokia Media Streamer unitil it is discoverable

When Nokia Media Streamer is connected to TV, and CEC
switch is on for both Nokia Media Streamer and TV, Nokia
Media Streamer will wake up or enter into standby mode
along with status of TV. In some cases, TV remote control
can also function on Nokia Media Streamer such as up/down,
enter or back.
• Once this option has been selected, all installed apps will be
deleted, settings will be set to defaults and all user information
will be deleted .


(2) Search and connect to your Nokia Media Streamer then
input the code displayed on the TV into the device. You may
now use your phone as a voice search remote.

Chromecast built-in™

1. Available internal memory/storage space is about 4.8GB because of
operation system and pre-installed apps.
2. Some specifications may dier by dierent models or dierent regions,
please take your actual dongle as the standard.

No display after power on
The power cord is not properly connected .
No sound
Remote Control Failure
(1)The sensors of the remote control and the Nokia Media
Streamer are not in alignment.
(2)Remote control is broken or the batteries are low
in power.
No Picture on screen
HDMI cable is not connected.
Make sure that HDMI/AV is selected as your TV input.
The Google Assistant button on the remote is not working
Remote is not paired to the Nokia Media Streamer via bluetooth.
Low Audio Level
In case, the Remote control of Nokia Media Streamer cannot adjust
volume in some apps, please use TV remote control to adjust
volume. Or please enter the device Settings-->TV settings-->Audio
Output -->Digital Audio Format--> switch from “Auto --> PCM”.
Picture Cut
Please adjust the aspect ratio of the TV, in-case there is a
picture cut.
Please switch the aspect ratio to Original or Just scan.
Failed to connect to network
(1)Check if the router works well.
(2)Sometimes unsynchronized time can impact network
connection. In that case, manually change the time in setting
menu via below path.
Home→Setting→Device Preferences→Automatice date&time→OK
(1)Check if the device is on Mute or the volume is too low.
(2)If there is no sound in Dolby content, please enter
Settings-->TV settings-->Audio Output--> Digital Audio
format-->Switch from Auto to PCM,and make sure Dolby
sounds setting is LINE.

WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
Flipkart India Private Limited ("Company") warranties the
product to be free from manufacturing defects or any other
specific defect as may be specified in the Specific Terms and
Conditions below. The warranty is for a period mentioned in
the Specific Terms and Conditions below, the invoice (if not
specified in the Specific Terms and Conditions below), as well
as the product listing page, and such period shall commence
from the date of purchase of the product by the first end user.
This is a non-transferable warranty, valid only in the territory
of India and extended only to the first end user customer
(“Customer”) basis the following terms and conditions, which
the Customer is deemed to have accepted upon purchase of
the product:
1. The warranty period of the product is 1 year, commencing
from the date of purchase, Warranty service which includes
replacement or repairs, will be carried out through the
Authorised Service Centers (“ASC/s”) only.
2. Warranty will be valid only when the original purchase
invoice is presented at the time of service. Company reserves
the right to decline warranty service, if the purchase invoice is
not presented.
3. In case of commercial usage of the product, warranty
period would be limited to 90 days only.
4. Warranty will cover only functional parts, issues having
manufacturing defects and does not cover damages to the
product resulting from unauthorised adaptations/ adjust-
ments/ tampering/ repair , improper installation or placement,
mishandling, improper use, deviation from the instructions set
out in the user manual (if applicable) normal wear and tear
caused due to use of the product.

5. Warranty does not cover any external accessories and
fittings to the product.
6. All plastic, rubber, glass, or aesthetic parts and consumable
replacements will be on a chargeable basis.
7. Warranty shall not apply to damages caused to the product
by accident, voltage fluctuations, lightening, ingress of water
(beyond certified limits, if any), fire or any other natural
calamity, improper ventilation, dropping or excessive shock,
or any external cause beyond Company's control.
8. Company shall retain all products or spare parts which are
replaced and the ownership of the same shall vest with the
Company.
9. Company is not liable to provide repair services or spare
parts after the period of warranty expires and the same if
provided will be on a chargeable basis.
10. Whilst the Company, through its ASC, shall make every
eort to carry out the service at the earliest, it is expressly
clarified that the Company is under no obligation to do so
within a certain time period.
11. Whilst Company would take all necessary steps to repair
the product under warranty and maintain sucient stock of
the spare parts of the products, in certain cases, at its sole
discretion, Company may due to non-availability of spare
parts of the product or product being in a state which is
beyond economic repair, oer a replacement scheme to the
Customer. The terms of such replacement oer is subject to
change from year to year and shall also be applicable on the
maximum retail price of the product.
12. All transportation & handling expenses incurred while
replacing or repairing will be payable by the Customer.

13. For any warranty claim requested by the Customer from
the region beyond municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the
ASC, a visit by an authorised service personnel may be
arranged by the Company through its ASC, on a case to case
basis, at its sole discretion and the charges towards such visit
will be borne by the Customer.
14. Warranty shall be void if:
1.The type or serial no. on the product has been altered, removed
or defaced.
2.The product is not operated as per the instructions given in the
User Guide, if any.
3.The defects are caused by household pets, rats, cockroaches or
any other animals or insects.
15. The warranty automatically expires after the period of time
stated in the product invoice even if the product may not be
in use for any time for whatever reasons.
16. This Warranty shall not aect Customer's statutory rights
under any applicable law.
17. Customer agrees to indemnify and keep Company
harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs, expenses,
claims, suits and proceedings (including reasonable attorney’s
fee) that may be suered by the Company as a consequence
of: (i) violation of these terms and condition by the Customer;
(ii) violation of applicable laws by the Customer; (iii) any
action or inaction resulting in willful misconduct or negligence
on the Customer’s part.
18. In the event of repairs of any part (s) of the product, the
Warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for
the unexpired period of the Warranty. Moreover, the time
taken for repair and in transit whether under the Warranty or
otherwise shall not be excluded from the Warranty period.

19. None of the employees, sellers, dealers or ASCs of the
Company have the authority to vary these terms and
conditions.
20. Customer agrees that the courts at Bangalore shall have
the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute that may arise
in relation to this Warranty or these terms and conditions.
21. COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT,
SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, SPECULATIVE OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED
TO, ANY LOSS OF USE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, AND
LOSS OF INCOME OR PROFITS, IRRESPECTIVE OF WHETH-
ER IT HAD AN ADVANCE NOTICE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
ANY SUCH DAMAGES.
