FINAL ADJUSTMENTS
• As with any net, initial stretching may occur so check the tension
each day before play for the first few days.
• Check both sides are the same height and approx. 9” below
the tennis net tape. (FIGURE A)
• Optional: Add the cord lock tensioner to the center tether by passing
through tether loops. This keeps the Ball Magnet stable. (FIGURE B)
• Check the 3 series of nets are overlapping on both sides (like window blinds FIGURE A).
• Check the Ball Magnet™ is not too tight. It should have sufficient tension
to be horizontal but no more.
• Adjust height by using the cord lock tensioners on the 3 tethers (thin cords - FIGURE C)
SETTINGS
• Use the cord lock tensioners (3 on either side) on the top edge of the bottom
layer of netting to adjust height. This will retain balls 1-3' from the tennis net.
• SETTING A) Coaching, Cardio, Ball Machines:
Set the bottom of the Ball Magnet 2-2.5” above the court surface
• SETTING B) Match Play: Set the Ball Magnet 1-1.5” above the court surface.
This will trap balls at the base of the tennis net.
SINGLE PERSON INSTALLATION
* Follow above two person instruction
steps 1-6.
7. Lift the posts with the black cords over
one end of the tennis net pole.
8. Ensure the black cords are horizontal
and parallel round the tennis net pole.
9. Identify the three tethers on the top of
the Ball Magnet.
10. Lift the first up and onto the tennis
net so that each side of the Ball
Magnet drops on to either side
of the tennis net.
11. Repeat with the two remaining tethers.
12. Now grasp the remaining two posts
and pull them over and around the
tennis net pole.
13. Follow instructions above for final
adjustments.
STORAGE & REMOVAL
1. Loosen the straps around the tennis net
pole and lift Ball Magnet up and off the
tennis net while maintaining some
tension then Lay flat on court.
2. Grasp each end of the posts like a
rolling pin and roll each end carefully to
the middle. Maintain tension to achieve
tight spools and ensure no netting spills
over the spool ends.
3. Secure with string or strap and store in
included storage bag
MAINTENANCE is limited to
occasional checks:
1. Adjust the tension over the first few
days (and over time) as normal
stretching may occur.
2. Adjust the tension with the straps
around the tennis net pole. Again,
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
3. Ensure the 3 layers of netting always
overlap evenly.
4. Check that the Ball Magnet is at the
same height on both sides of the
tennis net.
