RAT BLOCKER TX11
- INSTALLATION MANUAL
Applies to rat blocker TX11 with gate moun-
ted with thumbscrew.
N.B.
Before mounting, always check that the thumbscrew is tightened

ORIENTATION OF THE GATE
The rat blockers from Nordisk Innovation
are made with a reversible gate, so that the
blockers can be mounted on both the inlet
and drain side.
IMPORTANT! Check that the gates are
positioned correctly.
Positioning the gates incorrectly will lead
to a blockage of the ow as the gates are
prevented from opening.
The pictures below show the correct
position of the gates in relation to the
drainage direction.
REVERSAL OF THE GATE.
If the locking direction needs to be chan-
ged, loosen the thumbscrew approx. two
turns, after which the gate is turned 180
degrees.
Make sure the two pins are properly seated
in the guide slot.
Then tighten the thumbscrew again and
the rat blocker is ready for tting.
The arrow on the rat blocker house and the
arrow on
the gates face opposite each other.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the cover and inspect the
well, and clean as necessary.
Fitting tubes are assembled to the
desired length, and are tted on the
rat blocker.
The rat blocker is lowered into the
well and is inserted into the selec-
ted outlet/inlet until the rat blocker’s
stopper is in contact with the well’s
side.
Then turn the mounting pipe
clockwise until desired tension is
achieved. Removed the alignment
tube, and the installation is ready
for a test ush.
For the test ush, use 6-7 pieces
of toilet paper and 2-3 toilet ushes
from the toilet – you should be able
to visually conrm that the paper
and water is able to pass the rat
blocker unhindered.
After installing the rat blocker, the enclosed sign is mounted at the top of
the well.

NOTE! Important information
To prevent tearing and burning of the thread, the threaded piece on the rat block-
ers from Nordisk Innovation is made of acid-resistant stainless steel, which has
subsequently been coated with a layer of hard chromium plating.
In addition, we recommend that during service and maintenance of the rat
blocker, the threaded piece is lubricated with mounting paste.
