Remote Guide
Troubleshooting
If remote is not working:
Press the key for the function you are using (example: press the TV button) and try
again. Make sure the Set Top Box is plugged in and there is a clear path between
the remote and the Set Top Box. Check and make sure the batteries in the remote
control are not weak or dead.
For TV Problems:
Make sure all components and cables are properly connected and plugged in.
Press the TV button, then press the power button on your remote. Make sure the
TV is tuned to the proper output channel (Cable = 3, or a video input if using
yellow/red/white cables).
If Set Top Box does not work:
Press the CBL button on the remote, then press the power button (Be sure to press
the TV button on the remote after testing - so the remote will control the TV).

Use SETUP for all programming sequences.
Press MUTE once to turn sound off or on.
Press LAST once to recall the last channel watched.
Use the VOL+ or - keys to adjust the sound volume.
Use GUIDE to display the program guide.
Use CURSOR keys to move the cursor in the program guide.
Use SELECT to choose options, PPV events, and to tune programs from the program guide.
Use INFO to display current channel and program information.
(Slide down panel to reveal keys) In the VCR and PCR modes, use the REW, PLAY, FF, REC,
and PAUSE keys to control the program. Press REC twice to record a program.
The LED (red light) blinks to show the remote is working and sending signals.
Press POWER once to turn on or off the selected home entertainment component.
Press AUDIO, VCR, TV or CBL to select a home entertainment component to control.
Use the KEYPAD (0-9) to directly select channels.
Press ENTER once after entering channel numbers on some TV models.
Press MENU once to display screen menu.
Use CH+ or CH- to select the next higher or lower channel.
Not used at this time.
Use Exit to exit out of your cable converter’s menu & guide.
Use PAGE + and PAGE- to page up or down on menu screen & program guide.
Program each IN TUNE key to remember three of your favorite channels for a total of nine
channels.
