Remote Guide
Troubleshooting
If remote is not working:
Check and make sure the batteries in the remote are not weak or dead. Make sure
the Set Top Box is plugged in and there is a clear path between the remote and the
Set Top Box. Make sure you press the STB button, then press the power button
(this will turn on the Set Top Box).
For TV Problems:
Make sure all components and cables are properly connected and plugged in.
Press the TV button, then press the power button on your remote (TV should turn
on). Make sure your TV is on the proper input (Cable = 3, or a video input if using
yellow/red/white cables).
If Set Top Box does not work:
Press the STB button on the remote, then press the power button (the box should
turn on). In order to activate box functions (change channel, menu, etc.), press the
STB button, then press the button for the feature you want.

Press POWER once to turn on or off the selected home entertainment component.
Use RCU SETUP for all programming sequences.
In the DVD/VCR and PVR modes, use these keys to control the unit. The R is record.
Press MENU once to display your cable’s screen menu.
Use CURSOR keys to move the cursor in the program guide and menu screens.
Use GUIDE to display the program guide.
Use PAGE+ and PAGE- to page up or down on the menu screen and program guide.
Use VOL+ or VOL- to adjust the sound volume.
Press MUTE once to turn sound off or on.
Use the KEYPAD (0-9) to directly select channels.
In TV mode, press INPUT to control the input source for the TV.
Press these keys once to select a home entertainment component to control.
Use INFO to display current channel and program information.
Use OK to choose options or PPV events and to tune programs from the program guide.
Use EXIT to exit out of your cable converter’s menu and guide.
Use CH+ or CH- to select the next higher or lower channel.
Press LAST once to recall the last channel watched.
Use CC (closed captioning) to turn captioning on or off.
