How to install
Install mounting braket on the water or gas pipe/valve1.
Place the smart controller above valve and make sure that the controller shaft is directly inline2.
with the axis of valve handle
Tighten the screws at the both ends of the mounting braket (Make sure that center of the valve3.
controller shaft is on the same axis as
the valve center shaft, otherwise the valve cannot be completely closed and opened)
After that you can manually pull clutch ring down and check if the valve is opens and closes4.
Connect device to the power5.
How to connect and use
Make sure that the led indicator is flashing quickly. If not, hold the power button for 5 seconds1.
untill the led starts blinking
open Nous Smart Home app2.
choose your zigbee hub/gateway3.
press +(add subdevice)4.
confirm that the led is blinking and start connection5.
after pairing the smart valve is ready to be used.6.
Tips
To reset device - press and hold power button for 5 seconds untill the led light is starts blinking(device
ready to be paired again)
If there is no WiFi - short press on power button will open and close the valve if needed. Untill the
hub/gateway is active, all saved schedules and scenarios will work even without wifi connection.
If there is no power - pull the clutch ring down and open or close the valve manually

For preventing your valve to be stiffed with time, we would recommend you to schedule simple close-
open sequence few time in a month.
