We are pleased that you have chosen a NOVAFON sound wave device. You
have selected a high-quality product. For decades, our name has been stand-
ing for high-quality and thoroughly tested products. In order to make the
best use of your NOVAFON sound wave device and enjoy it for a long time,
please read this manual carefully, make it accessible to other users, and follow

2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
NOVAFON sound wave devices have been used for decades for soothing
physical ailments. The treatment can be relaxing or stimulating. A deep,
stimulating effect is generated by transmitting gentle vibrations to muscles,
cartilage and tissues, which can often be felt for several minutes after the
treatment. With a vertical penetration depth of up to 6 cm, the NOVAFON
sound wave devices are truly unique. The application is safe and very easy.
The sound wave devices allow you to choose between a pleasant, continu-
ous massage (100 Hz) or a stimulating tapping massage (50 Hz).
Please note that the unit is designed for personal use only and not for medi-
cal or commercial use.
2.1. DEVICE TYPES
The individual device types differ in terms of the frequency settings, inten-
sity, alloy type of the device housing (chrome-plated, gold-plated or plastic)
and housing shape and with respect to the accessories they include (with or
without extension handle).
2.1.1. NOVAFON pro
The all-rounder comes with two frequency levels, 50 Hz and 100 Hz, and is
able to send vibrations deep into the tissue. The folding extension handle is
designed for maximum ease of use.
2.1.2. NOVAFON power
This is the most powerful among our sound wave devices as it uses the
strongest vibrations. The NOVAFON power comes with two frequency lev-
els, 50 Hz and 100 Hz, and provides the highest intensity.

2.1.3. NOVAFON classic
This is the original version of the NOVAFON sound wave devices. It has
proved its worth in local vibration therapy for many years. It comes with
one 100 Hz frequency level.
2.1.4. NOVAFON soft
This is the most gentle sound wave device. It comes with one 100 Hz
frequency level. Owing to the lower amplitude, the transmitted vibra-
tions are weaker.

2.2. ACCESSORIES
All NOVAFON sound wave devices come standard with two exchange-
able attachments. The disk attachment and ball attachment can be easily
switched out by loosening (anticlockwise) and tightening (clockwise) the
attachment. Please contact your retailer for further information.

2.2.1. Disk attachment (for NOVAFON pro)
The disk attachment is designed for the treatment of larger body regions
that can be easily treated by using the device in a sweeping motion. The disk
attachment is included in the delivery. It can also be ordered as a replace-
ment part.
2.2.2. Disk attachment (for NOVAFON power, NOVAFON classic,
NOVAFON soft)
The disk attachment is designed for the treatment of larger body regions

2.2.3. Ball attachment
The ball attachment can be used in the treatment of smaller target areas
and individual spots. It is included in the delivery, but it can also be or-
dered as a replacement part.
3. OPERATION
3.1. DEVICE START-UP
Plug the power plug into a power outlet that provides the specified volt-
age. Ensure that the cable is not stretched to a length of over 3 metres
as the cable might break. Use an extension cord, if required. Turn on the
NOVAFON device using the flip switch . This flip switch is also used
to select the frequency level in the NOVAFON pro and power models
.
3.2. INTENSITY CONTROL
The intensity can be adjusted by turning the control knob . Turning
the control knob clockwise (viewed from the top) reduces the intensity.
Consequently, turning the control knob counter-clockwise increases the
intensity. Please bear in mind that you need to turn the control knob
several times to reach the highest or lowest intensity. We recommend
that you start at a low intensity and then increase it as required and sub-
ject to individual sensitivity levels. Do not apply any pressure when using
the NOVAFON device. Instead of enhancing treatment effectiveness, this
would interfere with the vibratory performance. Perfect vibrations are
generated by the mere contact of the NOVAFON device with the skin.

3.3. ATTACHMENTS
The disk attachment and ball attachment can be easily replaced. Unscrew the
attachment counter-clockwise to remove it or turn it clockwise to tighten it.
4. APPLICATIONS & USE
The NOVAFON sound wave devices can be used directly on the skin or
through fabric/clothing. Guide the device slowly over the affected area
in circular or sweeping motion. However, you can also use the device
selectively, e.g. on a specific pain centre. Please note that you should
only guide the appliance with its own weight over the affected area and
should not apply any additional pressure as this will reduce the effect.
This is the only way the penetration depth effect of the NOVAFON can
be fully deployed and the vibrations are transmitted optimally. Please do
not use the unit for more than 20 minutes at a time, and switch it off for
at least 15 minutes to prevent overheating. When applied to sensitive
areas (e.g. face, neck, head) or severely painful body parts, the duration
of application duration should be reduced and adjusted to accommodate
the individual needs. The application should feel pleasant and relaxing at
all times. Stop the application or change the position of the sound wave
device if you feel the treatment is painful or unpleasant.
NOTE
Use of liniments: Apply creams, ointments or cosmetic liniments only in
a thin layer to the skin or place a thin cloth between the device and the
skin. To prevent damage, ensure that fluids or residues cannot seep into
the device.
5. CONTRAINDICATIONS
The NOVAFON sound wave device is intended for the treatment of
individual body parts of the human body. Do not use the sound wave
device if one or more of the following warning signs apply to you. If you
are unsure whether the NOVAFON sound wave device is suitable for you,
consult your physician. Do not perform any treatment with the NOVA-
FON sound wave devices if the following contraindications apply:
• open wounds / eczema / on mucous membranes
• arteriosclerosis
• recent episodes of epilepsy
• pregnancy
• metallic implants
• pacemakers
• thrombosis
• deep-brain stimulators

7. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Correct and safe operation of the NOVAFON sound wave device can
only be ensured if NOVAFON accessories are used. Before starting to
use the device, please read the user manual and these safety instructions
carefully and strictly follow them.
Warning: Do not modify this device without the manufacturer’s prior
consent.
• Handle the device carefully.
• Always store the device in a dry and clean location.
• Before each use, check the device for any signs of damage or wear.
• Do not use the device and have it repaired by the customer service if
any of the following conditions occur:
> if the power cable or plug is damaged.
> if the device fails to work correctly.
> if the device is damaged.
> if the device exhibits safety-related problems.
• Use an extension cord if the distance to the power outlet is over 3
metres.
• Before connecting the device to the power source, check that the
mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specification on the trans-
former. Connect the device only to a power source that delivers the
correct voltage.
• To disconnect the device, unplug the power plug from the
power outlet. Never pull the cable.
• Never leave the device unattended when it is turned on.
• Do not use the device and transformer for over 20 minutes per
application. Leave it to cool down for at least 15 minutes before
you continue.
• Avoid any contact of the power cable with hot surfaces.
• Never use the device when taking a shower or bath or in an
explosive atmosphere.
• Never place the device into water or other liquids.
• Protect the device and transformer from impact and shocks.
• During treatment, only hold the handle or (extended) extension
handle of the device.
• Wireless communication devices (e.g. WiFi stations, mobile
phones, cordless phones and their base stations) may interfere
with the sound wave devices and should be kept at a minimum
distance of 1.6 m during treatment.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children.
• Keep children away from packaging materials. There is a risk of
suffocation.

• When using the device, bear in mind that the cable may cause a
strangulation hazard.
• Do not squeeze or pinch any part of your body, especially your
fingers, between the sound plate/ball and the device or the
fold-out extension handle and the device.
8. SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
8.1. CLEANING & DISINFECTION
Disconnect the device from the power source for cleaning. Clean the
device housing and attachment elements with a clean cloth moistened
with clear water or use a household disinfectant.
8.2. TROUBLESHOOTING
Contact our Customer Service if any defects or failures occur.
8.3. DISPOSAL
The disposal of the NOVAFON device is subject to the requirements of
the EU Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE Di-
rective). It must not be disposed of in municipal waste. Users are required
to use designated collection points when disposing of waste electrical
and electronic equipment to minimize environmental impact. You are
free to return your old device to NOVAFON. We will take care of its
disposal for you.
9. WARRANTY
The device is warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for
a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery. Warranty coverage is
subject to the presentation of a proof of purchase. Please contact your
dealer directly for any warranty claims. The right of rescission (cancella-
tion of purchase), the right to demand a reduction in the purchase price
(discount) or the right to demand subsequent delivery are generally ex-
cluded. However, the buyer is entitled, at its own discretion, to demand
a reduction in the purchase price or withdraw from the purchase if the
seller fails to remedy a defect covered by the warranty within a reason-
able period of time.
Any damage caused by failure to use the device in accordance with its
intended use is not covered by the warranty. Such damage is the sole
responsibility of the user. The power cable must not be stretched to a
length of over 3 metres. If a greater distance needs to be covered, an
extension cord must be used. Otherwise the cable may break. Failure to
comply with these instructions will void the warranty.

10. CUSTOMER SERVICE
The NOVAFON device requires precise adjustment. Consequently, any
necessary repairs must be performed exclusively by the NOVAFON
Customer Service. Please do not send in your defective device without
first contacting us by telephone to report the damage and determi-
ne the scope of the repair. The repair might be more expensive than a
new device. If, during the warranty period, the repair of a device proves
too costly, NOVAFON will offer a replacement device (to which a full
24-months’ warranty period will apply).

2. PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Die NOVAFON Schallwellengeräte werden schon seit Jahrzehnten zur
wohltuenden Anwendung bei körperlichen Beschwerden eingesetzt. Die
Behandlung kann entspannend oder anregend wirken. Durch die Übermitt-
lung von sanften Vibrationen auf Muskeln, Knorpel und Gewebe wird ein
tiefgreifender, stimulierender Effekt erzeugt, der oft noch Minuten nach der
Behandlung zu spüren ist. Mit einer vertikalen Eindringtiefe von bis zu 6 cm
sind die NOVAFON Schallwellengeräte einmalig. Die Anwendung ist sicher
und kinderleicht. Die Schallwellengeräte bieten wahlweise eine wohltuende,
durchgängige Massage (100 Hz) oder eine anregende Klopfmassage (50 Hz).
Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Gerät nur zur Eigenanwendung und nicht für den
medizinischen oder kommerziellen Gebrauch vorgesehen ist.
2.1. GERÄTETYPEN
Die verschiedenen Gerätetypen unterscheiden sich neben den Frequenzein-
stellungen, der Intensität, der Legierung des Gehäuses (verchromt, vergol-
det oder Kunststoff) und der Gehäuseform durch die Ausstattung (mit oder
ohne Verlängerungsbügel).
2.1.1. NOVAFON pro
Das Multitalent kann mittels zweier Frequenzstufen, 50 Hz und 100 Hz, Vibra-
tionen tief ins Gewebe senden und ist durch den ausklappbaren Verlänge-
rungsbügel besonders einfach handzuhaben.

2.1.2. NOVAFON power
Das Kraftpaket arbeitet mit besonders starker Vibration und verfügt nicht
nur über zwei Frequenzstufen, 50 und 100 Hz, sondern auch über die höchste
Intensität.
2.1.3. NOVAFON classic
Das Original – seit vielen Jahren bewährt in der Lokalen Vibrations-
therapie. Es ist mit einer Frequenzstufe von 100 Hz ausgestattet.
2.1.4. NOVAFON soft
Das sanfteste Schallwellengerät. Es verfügt über eine Frequenzstufe von
100 Hz. Die Vibrationen werden dank geringerer Amplitude schwächer
übertragen.

2.2. ZUBEHÖR
Alle Geräte sind mit zwei wechselbaren Aufsätzen, dem Schallteller und
der Schallkugel, ausgestattet. Darüberhinaus gibt es noch weitere spezi-
elle Aufsätze, die nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten sind. Informieren Sie
sich online.
2.2.1. Schallteller (für NOVAFON pro)
Der Telleraufsatz kommt bei der Behandlung von größeren und gut abzu-
streichenden Körperpartien zum Einsatz. Er ist im Lieferumfang enthalten
und ist auch als Ersatzteil erhältlich.
2.2.2. Schallteller (für NOVAFON power, NOVAFON classic,
NOVAFON soft)
Der Telleraufsatz kommt bei der Behandlung von größeren und gut abzu-
streichenden Körperpartien zum Einsatz. Er ist im Lieferumfang enthalten
und ist auch als Ersatzteil erhältlich.
2.2.3. Schallkugel
Die Schallkugel kann für kleinflächigere und punktuelle Behandlung ge-
nutzt werden. Sie ist im Lieferumfang enthalten und ist auch als Ersatzteil
erhältlich.
3. BEDIENUNG
3.1. INBETRIEBNAHME
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine der angegebenen Stromspannung
entsprechende Steckdose. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel nicht über
3 Meter gedehnt werden darf, da sonst die Gefahr eines Kabelbruches
besteht. Verwenden Sie ggf. ein Verlängerungskabel. Schalten Sie das
NOVAFON über die Betätigung des Kippschalters ein. Über diesen
Kippschalter lässt sich bei den Modellen pro und power auch die Fre-
quenzeinstellung verändern .
3.2. STÄRKENREGULIERUNG
Die Regulierung der Intensität erfolgt durch Drehen des Regulierungs-
drehknopfes . Bei Sicht von oben auf den Drehknopf bedeutet Rechts-
drehung des Knopfes, also im Uhrzeigersinn gedreht: Reduzierung der In-
tensität. Dementsprechend erfolgt bei Linksdrehung, also entgegen dem
Uhrzeigersinn eine Verstärkung der Intensität. Bitte beachten Sie, dass
Sie den Drehknopf mehrere Male drehen müssen, um die jeweils höchste
und niedrigste Intensität zu erreichen. Wir empfehlen, mit einer gerin-
gen Intensität zu beginnen und diese dann nach Bedarf und individuellem

Empfinden zu erhöhen. Ein Aufdrücken des NOVAFONs vergrößert nicht
seine Wirkkraft, sondern stört das Schwingungsverhalten. Die optimale
Schwingung wird allein durch die Auflagekraft des NOVAFONs erreicht.
3.3. AUFSÄTZE
Die Aufsätze Schallteller und Schallkugel lassen sich durch einfaches Losdre-
hen (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) und Zudrehen (im Uhrzeigersinn) austauschen.
4. ANWENDUNG
Die NOVAFON Schallwellengeräte können sowohl direkt auf der Haut als
auch durch Textilien angewendet werden. Führen Sie das Gerät in langsam
kreisenden oder streichenden Bewegungen über die betroffene Stelle.
Sie können das Gerät aber auch punktuell, z.B. auf einem Schmerzpunkt,
ansetzen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Sie das Gerät nur mit seinem Eigen-
gewicht über die betroffene Stelle führen und keinen Druck ausüben,
da dies die Wirkung reduziert. Nur so kann sich die Tiefenwirkung des
NOVAFONs voll entfalten und die Schwingungen werden optimal über-
tragen. Bitte verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht länger als 20 Minuten und
schalten es danach für mindestens 15 Minuten aus, um einer Überhitzung
vorzubeugen. Bei der Anwendung auf empfindlichen (z.B. Gesicht, Hals,
Kopf) oder stark schmerzenden Körperpartien sollte die Anwendungs-
dauer reduziert und individuell angepasst werden. Die Anwendung sollte
zu jeder Zeit als angenehm und entspannend empfunden werden. Bre-
chen Sie die Anwendung ab oder ändern Sie die Position des Schallwel-
lengeräts, wenn Sie die Behandlung als schmerzhaft oder unangenehm
empfinden.
HINWEIS
Anwendung von Einreibemitteln: Tragen Sie Cremes, Salben oder kosme-
tische Einreibemittel grundsätzlich nur dünn auf die Haut auf oder legen
Sie ein feines Tuch zwischen Gerät und Haut. Es dürfen keine Flüssigkei-
ten oder Rückstände in das NOVAFON eindringen, damit dieses nicht
beschädigt wird.

5. GEGENANZEIGEN
Das NOVAFON Schallwellengerät ist bestimmt zur Behandlung einzelner
Körperteile des menschlichen Körpers. Benutzen Sie das Schallwellenge-
rät nicht, wenn einer oder mehrere der folgenden Warnhinweise auf Sie
zutreffen. Falls Sie unsicher sind, ob das NOVAFON Schallwellengerät
für Sie geeignet ist, befragen Sie bitte Ihren Arzt. Behandlungen mit den
NOVAFON Schallwellengeräten sind nicht zulässig bei:
• Offenen Wunden/ Ekzemen / auf Schleimhäuten

• Aktuellen Episoden von Epilepsie
• Schwangerschaft

ung von NOVAFON Zubehör gewährleistet werden. Lesen Sie vor dem
Gebrauch die Gebrauchsanweisung und diese Sicherheitshinweise sorg-
fältig und befolgen Sie sie.

• Behandeln Sie das Gerät sorgfältig.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät nur an einem trockenen und sauberen Ort auf.
• Überprüfen Sie das Gerät vor jedem Einsatz auf Anzeichen von
Beschädigung oder Abnutzung.
• In jedem der folgenden Fälle darf das Gerät nicht in Betrieb genommen
werden und muss vom Kundendienst repariert werden:
> Wenn das Stromkabel oder der Stecker beschädigt sind.
> Wenn das Gerät nicht einwandfrei funktioniert.
> Wenn das Gerät beschädigt ist.
> Wenn das Gerät oensichtliche Sicherheitsmängel aufweist.
• Verwenden Sie ein Verlängerungskabel bei mehr als 3m Abstand zur
Steckdose.
• Prüfen Sie vor dem Anschließen an den Stromkreislauf, ob die
Netzspannung mit der Spannungsangabe auf dem Transformator
übereinstimmt. Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an die jeweils richtige
Stromspannung an.
• Trennen Sie das Gerät durch Herausziehen des Netzsteckers von
der Netzspannung, ziehen Sie dabei niemals am Anschlusskabel.
• Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät und den Transformator höchstens
20 Minuten pro Anwendung, und lassen Sie es danach mindestens
15 Minuten abkühlen.
• Bringen Sie das Anschlusskabel nicht mit heißen Flächen in
Berührung.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nie beim Baden, Duschen oder in
explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät nie in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
• Vermeiden Sie Stöße auf das Gerät und den Transformator.
• Halten Sie das Gerät während der Behandlung ausschließlich am
Gerätegri bzw. an dem ausgeklappten Verlängerungsbügel.

• Drahtlose Kommunikationsgeräte (z.B. WiFi Stationen, Mobiltele-
fone, drahtlose Telefone und zugehörige Basisstationen) können
die Geräte beeinflussen und sollten während der Anwendung
mindestens in einem Abstand von 1,6 m gehalten werden.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
• Halten Sie Kinder von Verpackungsmaterial fern. Es besteht Erstick-
ungsgefahr.
• Beachten Sie bei der Anwendung, dass durch das Kabel die Gefahr
einer Strangulation gegeben ist.
• Klemmen oder zwicken Sie keinen Teil Ihres Körpers, insbesondere
Finger, zwischen Schallteller/ -kugel und Gerät und ausklappbaren
Verlängerungsbügel und Gerät
8. WARTUNG UND INSTANDHALTUNG
8.1. REINIGUNG UND DESINFEKTION
Zur Reinigung trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromkreislauf. Verwenden Sie
zur Reinigung des Gerätegehäuses und der Aufsatzelemente ein sauberes,
mit klarem Wasser befeuchtetes Tuch oder ein Haushaltsdesinfektion-
smittel. Trockenen Sie die gereinigten Flächen anschließend mit einem
sauberen Tuch.
8.2. VERHALTEN BEI STÖRUNGEN
Falls Störungen an dem Gerät auftreten sollten, wenden Sie sich bitte an
unseren Kundendienst.
8.3. ENTSORGUNG
Dieses Gerät unterliegt der EU-Richtlinie über die Entsorgung von Elek-
tro- und Elektronik-Altgeräten (WEEE). Es darf nicht mit dem Hausmüll
entsorgt werden. Der Nutzer ist verpflichtet, das Altgerät zur umwelt-
gerechten Entsorgung bei einer ausgewiesenen Annahmestelle für die
Entsorgung von Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten abzugeben. Sie können Ihr
Altgerät auch an die Firma NOVAFON schicken, wir entsorgen es gern für Sie.
9. GARANTIE
Ab dem Lieferdatum gewähren wir für Mängel, die auf Material- oder
Produktionsfehler zurückzuführen sind, 2 Jahre Garantie gegen Vorlage
des Kaufbelegs. Bei Reklamationen wenden Sie sich bitte direkt an Ihren
Händler. Das Recht auf Wandlung (Rückgängigmachung des Kaufes),
Minderung (Nachlass auf den Kaufpreis) oder Nachlieferung ist zunächst
ausgeschlossen. Sie haben jedoch nach Ihrer Wahl einen Anspruch auf
Minderung oder Wandlung, falls wir einen garantiepflichtigen Mangel
