MiFi 2200 Settings
Once activation is complete, you will have the opportunity to configure
MiFi 2200 settings and create a password to manage these settings.
Use the default password admin when logging in for the first time.
You may also change your network name (SSID) and security key at
this time.
To access MiFi settings in the future, go to http://192.168.1.1 and log in.

Your replacement device is now ready to use. For instructions on how to
connect devices to your MiFi 2200, turn the page.
Step ➊ ACTIVATE service.
• Before turning on your replacement MiFi 2200, call 1.877.807.4646
to activate service. Existing My Verizon customers may also activate
service online at verizonwireless.com/renew
• Have your Customer Receipt handy because you may be asked to
confirm information from it, including the “mobile number” assigned
to your MiFi 2200.
Step ➋ ACTIVATE MiFi 2200.
• Turn off defective MiFi 2200 and remove battery.
• Insert battery into replacement MiFi 2200 and charge. Do NOT turn on
your device until the battery has been charged.
• Once battery is fully charged, turn on your MiFi 2200 and open the Wi-Fi
manager on your computer.
• Look for the network name (SSID) “Verizon MiFi 2200 XXXX” (the X’s
represent the four unique digits associated with your MiFi 2200).
• Connect to your MiFi 2200. If prompted, enter the default password
(security key) that can be found on the back of your MiFi 2200.
• Open an Internet browser window and type http://192.168.1.1 in the
address bar.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to activate your device by selecting
Activate or Update PRL.
Step ➌ RETURN defective MiFi 2200 within 5 days.
REMINDER: You must return your defective MiFi 2200 within 5 days. If
you do not return your defective device or if you return a device that has
been subjected to neglect, misuse, liquid damage, or unreasonable wear
and tear, you will be charged up to the full retail price of your replacement
device, which may exceed $500.
• Place only your defective MiFi 2200 into the Certified Like-New
Replacement device box. Keep your original accessories (e.g., battery)
for use with your replacement device.
• Place device box into the shipping box.
• Attach return label.

Note:
Once returned to Verizon Wireless, your device cannot be
returned to you.
