Congratulations on your new TheTrulyOne
Universal Bluetooth Display Car Kit by novero.
TheTrulyOne is designed to serve as an in-car
extension of your regular mobile phone, only easier
to operate while in the car.
TheTrulyOne oers several features which will
satisfy many dierent user-needs. After a quick
and easy set-up, it is easy to make and receive
handsfree calls and play your favorite music on
either your phone or music player.
This user guide will help you get started as we
present you with all the great features and
conveniences that provide a truly customized user
experience.

To put safety first, always have a qualified professional install TheTrulyOne in your car. Please refer to the
installation guide for more information.
To ensure optimal performance with TheTrulyOne, make sure to adjust the microphone after installation
so that it points towards you. You may safely do this yourself.

TheTrulyOne has an intuitive interface that is easy to
operate without taking your eyes or mind o trac.
The display provides visual input and feedback for all
operations.
The remote has two large keys which make it easy to
perform basic actions. You can dial or redial a number
by pressing the left key A. You can press the right
key R to exit a menu, go back to the pervious menu,
or to delete your typed input.
With the center wheel E, you can enter the menu
and access several functionalities by pressing it – or
you can turn it to select from a list of options or to
adjust the volume.
The mode key enables you to switch between music
or phone mode, by simply pressing it. The symbols on
the left and right keys change depending on the
mode.

To pair the car kit with your mobile device, activate the Bluetooth feature of the device and search for
novero TheTrulyOne. See the user guide for your mobile device for instructions. Depending on your
mobile device, pairing may be completed in one of three ways:
Pairing with PIN 0000
When your mobile device recognizes
novero TheTrulyOne, select it and
confirm with PIN=0000. Your mobile
device will confirm when pairing is
complete.
Automatic pairing
When your mobile device recognizes
novero TheTrulyOne, it will
automatically establish a secure
Bluetooth connection and confirm
when pairing is complete.
Pairing with random code
When your mobile device recognizes
novero TheTrulyOne, the same
random code will be displayed on
both your device and the display of
TheTrulyOne. Compare the numbers
and confirm on both devices to
complete pairing.

With TheTrulyOne it is easy to manage connection to dierent phones and music players, depending on
who is using the car kit, or which music you want to listen to. Phones and music players are generally
managed in the same way, but from two dierent menus, i.e. Phone selection and Player selection.

All the devices that are paired with TheTrulyOne are added to a list of paired devices, which you can
choose from according to needs and preferences.

If one or two phones are

With multipoint, you can pair and connect TheTrulyOne with two mobile devices at the same time, e.g. a
work phone and a private phone. One phone will be assigned primary status and the other secondary status.
Use the primary phone, marked in bold, to both make and receive calls. Use the secondary phone only to
receive calls, and change device status by the push of just one button.
tip
One or both of the
connected phones
can be a combined
music player. However,
you can only listen to
music from one device
at a time. See “select
device” for instructions
on how to select music
player.
Long press (> 1 sec) P/ M to change the status of the primary
phone to secondary phone and vice versa. Device status is
shown in the display. Note that your selected music player
does not change with device status.

the call is coming from your

If you no longer want to use a specific phone or music player, you can disconnect it, or even delete it
completely from the list of paired devices.
