9.Turntheheadassemblybackoverandsnapthethreeretaining
leversbackdowntosecuretheOuterandInnerShells.Checkthe
retainingnutstobesureallthreeareincontactwiththeplastic
InnerShell.Opentheretainingleversandtightenretainingnutsas
neededtoassurethattheInnerShellisproperlysecuredwhenthe
leversarepusheddown.
10.Reconnectthesolutionhosetotheswivel.
Usingthistoolwithotherequipment
Thistoolwillworkwithportableortruckmountedextractors,butthewaterrecoverymaybebetterwithhigher
poweredextractorswithmoreairflow.Theextractorsolutionpumpmustprovideaminimumof700psiofwater
pressurewithaflowrateofatleast1.5gpm(GallonPerMinute).At1000psitheflowratemustexceed2.0gpm
andat1500psitheflowratemustexceed3.0gpm.
Therecommendedpressurefortooloperationis700to1200psi.
Set‐upProcedure
1. InstalltheHardBootorBrushringonthetool.
2. Connectthevacuumhosefromyourextractortothevacuumpipeonthetoolhandle.A2”cuffwillfit
overthepipe,a1‐1/2”cuffwillfitinsidethepipe.
3. Connectthesolutionhosefromtheextractortothequickconnectonthevalveassembly.
4. Turntheextractoron.Adjustthewaterpressuretothedesiredvalue.Minimumpressure:700psi.
Maximumpressure:1500psi.
5. Adjustthevacuumreliefslideforbestrecoveryandeaseofmovement.
BasicCleaningProcedure
Removeallfurniturefromtheareayouaregoingtoclean.Sweeporvacuumthefloortoremovedustandgrit,
piecesofglass,sand,etc.
