Introduction
T e AD9763 DAC module features AD9763, a dual-port, ig speed, 2-c annel, 10-bit CMOS Digital to
Analog converter. T e AD9763 offer exceptional ac and dc performance w ile supporting update rates
of up to 125 MSPS. T is module is designed to be used wit Numato Lab’s FPGA/Micro-controller
boards featuring a 2×6 pin Expansion connector. It can also be used wit ot er boards and connector
types by using manual wiring.

How to use the module
T e following section describes ow to use t is module.
Components/Tools required
Along wit t e module, you may need t e items in t e list below for easy and fast installation.
1. Any FPGA/Micro-controller board featuring a 2×6 pin Expansion connector (Manual wiring may
be needed if using wit boards t at does not ave 2×6 expansion connector)
2. DC Power supply (5-7)V.
Connection Diagram
T is diagram s ould be used as a reference only. For detailed information, see t e sc ematics at t e
end of t is document. Details of individual connectors are as below.
To use t is module, directly attac t e 2×6 male eader on t e expansion module to t e 2×6
expansion connector on FPGA/Micro-controller development board. If 2×6 female eaders are not
available, manually make t e connections as per t e connection details below.

Jumper Selection
Jumper P1
Enables you to c oose t e modes of DAC, i.e. dual port and interleaved mode. Place t e jumper in
position 1-2 to select dual port mode and position 2-3 to select interleaved mode.
Jumper P2
Enables you to c oose t e Gain control modes of DAC, i.e. independent and master/slave mode. Place
t e jumper in position 1-2 to select master/slave mode and position 2-3 to select independent mode.
