BASSINET WARNINGS
SETTING UP THE BASSINET
!The bassinet must be fully assembled and installed before
using, including, 4 corner buckles, 4 snaps under center
aps, and mattress/pad at, before using.
USING THE BASSINET
! You are responsible to provide adult supervision when using
your bassinet.
!Always keep the bassinet away from hazards in the area
that may injure your child.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
Infants can suffocate:
! In gaps between extra padding and side of the bassinet,
and
!On soft bedding.
Never add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding.
Use ONLY mattress/pad provided by Nuna.
!FALL HAZARD: To help prevent falls, do not use this
product when the infant begins to push up on hands and
knees or has reached 15 pounds (6.8 kg), whichever
comes rst.
!STRANGULATION HAZARD: Strings can cause
strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a
child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacier cords. Do not
suspend strings over a bassinet or attach strings to toys.
!To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy
infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise
advised by your physician.
!Use bassinet with only one child at a time.
!Child can become entrapped and die when improvised
netting or covers are placed on top of product. Never add
such items to conne child in product.
!NEVER leave accessory in place when child is in playpen.
If the accessory is in place, child in playpen can lift or shift
accessory and get neck trapped between accessory and
playpen frame. This could lead to restriction of the child’s
airway resulting in serious injury or death.
!If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided
by Nuna or one specically designed to t the dimension of
the pad.
!Do not modify bassinet or add any attachments that are not
listed in the owner’s manual.
!Never place a child under the bassinet.
!Do not store the bassinet in the playard.
! Do not use this bassinet if you cannot exactly follow the
accompanying instructions.
!Do not use this bassinet for a child who can roll over or who
has reached the manufacturer’s recommended weight limit.
!Do not place in or near this bassinet any cord, strap or similar
item that could become wrapped around a child’s neck.
!Do not place this bassinet near a window or a patio door
where a child could reach the cord of a blind or curtain and
be strangled
Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury
or death.
