Imparare come usare l’ettroutensile, le sue limitazioni d’utilizzo

Evitare le partenze involontarie -
Scollegare gli elettroutensili
Controllare sempre che le chiavette e le chiavi di regolazione
siano rimosse dall’elettroutensile prima di avviarlo.

Ispezionare le parti danneggiate
Prima di utilizzare ulteriormente l’elettroutensile, questo deve
essere controllato con attenzione per accertarsi che funzioni
correttamente e operi conformemente al suo uso specifico.
Controllare l’allineamento corretto delle parti in movimento,
accertarsi che non siano inceppate, controllare che non ci
siano componenti rotti e che l’elettroutensile sia montato
correttamente.
Verificare qualsiasi altra condizione che possa influire sul
funzionamento dell’elettroutensile.
Una protezione, o qualsiasi altra parte dell’elettroutensile che
sia danneggiata, deve essere riparata o sostituita da un centro
di manutenzione autorizzato, a meno di indicazione differente
contenuta in questo manuale d’istruzioni.
Qualsiasi interruttore che non funziona correttamente deve
essere sostituito da un centro di manutenzione autorizzato.

Non esporre gli elettroutensili alla pioggia, o utilizzarli in
situazioni dove possano bagnarsi o inumidirsi.
Mantenere l’area di lavoro bene illuminata.
Non utilizzare gli elettroutensili nelle zone dove esista un pericolo

Fare attenzione ai bambini e agli animali domestici
I bambini e gli animali domestici devono essere tenuti fuori
dall’area di lavoro.
Tutti gli elettroutensili devono essere tenuti fuori dalla portata
dei bambini. Quando non sono in uso, è preferibile riporre gli
elettroutensili in un armadio o in una stanza asciutti e chiusi
a chiave.
Utilizzare l’utensile corretto
Scegliere l’utensile appropriato per il tipo di lavoro. Non utilizzare
un utensile per un lavoro per il quale non è stato progettato.
Non forzare un utensile piccolo a fare il lavoro di un utensile per
servizio pesante. Non utilizzare gli utensili per scopi a cui non
erano stati destinati.
Non forzare l’elettroutensile
L’elettroutensile farà un lavoro migliore, più sicuro e darà un
servizio migliore se verrà utilizzato alla velocità per cui è stato
progettato.
Eseguire sempre un’accurata manutenzione degli utensili
Mantenere affilati e puliti gli utensili da taglio onde ottenerne le
prestazioni migliori e più sicure.
Seguire le istruzioni di lubrificazione e sostituzione degli
accessori.
Mantenere le impugnature asciutte, pulite e prive di olio e
grasso.
Accertarsichelefessurediventilazionesianosempremantenute
pulite e prive di polvere. Le fessure di ventilazione bloccate
possono causare il surriscaldamento e il danneggiamento del
motore.
Se questa macchina deve essere utilizzata quando si lavora ad
una certa altezza, deve essere utilizzato un ponteggio dotato di
ringhiera e battipiede o una piattaforma a torre, in modo tale da
garantire una adeguata stabilità.
PROTEGGERSI DALLE SCOSSE ELETTRICHE
Evitare il contatto del corpo con superfici messe a terra o
a massa (per esempio tubazioni, radiatori, lavastoviglie e
frigoriferi).
Cavi di alimentazione
Non strattonare o tirare il cavo di alimentazione per scollegarlo
dalla presa di alimentazione di rete.
Non trasportare mai l’elettroutensile afferrandone il cavo di
alimentazione. Tenere il cavo di alimentazione lontano da fonti
di calore, olio, solventi e spigoli vivi.
Ispezionare periodicamente il cavo di alimentazione dell’utensile
e, se danneggiato, farlo sostituire da un servizio di manutenzione
autorizzato.
Esaminare periodicamente i cavi di prolunga e sostituirli se
danneggiati.
NON utilizzare cavi o bobine di prolunga a due conduttori per
gli elettroutensili con un percorso di terra. Utilizzare sempre
un cavo o bobina di prolunga a tre conduttori con il filo di terra
collegato a terra.
Srotolare sempre completamente l’eventuale cavo di prolunga.
Per i cavi di prolunga fino a 15 metri utilizzare conduttori di
sezione trasversale di 1,5 mm2.
Per i cavi di prolunga più lunghi di 15 metri, ma meno di 40
metri, utilizzare conduttori di sezione trasversale di 2,5 mm2.
Proteggere il cavo di prolunga da oggetti affilati, calore eccessivo
e dall’esposizione all’umidità o all’acqua.
Questo elettroutensile soddisfa le normative nazionali e
internazionali e i requisiti di sicurezza. Le riparazioni devono
essere eseguite unicamente da personale qualificato,
utilizzando pezzi di ricambio originali. Se questo non viene
fatto ne può derivare un grave pericolo per l’utente.

ISTRUZIONI SPECIFICHE PER LA

Alcuniprodottiinlegnoematerialisimili,particolarmenteMDF
(Medium Density Fibreboard) possono produrre polvere che
può essere pericolosa per la salute. Quando si utilizza questa
macchina si raccomanda l'uso di una maschera facciale
approvata con filtri sostituibili, oltre all'utilizzo del dispositivo di
aspirazione della polvere.
NON fermare la fresatrice forzando la macchina o usando una
pressione laterale.
Utilizzare sempre il tipo corretto di fresa per la lavorazione da
eseguire.
NON utilizzare frese con denti piegati, spezzati o mancanti.
Questo è estremamente pericoloso e potrebbe portare a un
grave incidente che provocherà lesioni all'operatore e alle
persone circostanti e il danneggiamento della macchina.
Utilizzare solo frese raccomandate dal fornitore e in buone
condizioni.
Per la fresatura di lunghi pezzi da lavorare usare cavalletti o
bancali da lavoro per sostenere il pezzo da lavorare.
Accertarsichetuttiimorsettidifissaggiosianostrettieverificare
che non ci sia un gioco eccessivo.
Mantenere sempre le pinze e il controdado completamente
prive di accumuli di segatura.
Ogni volta che si sostituiscono le frese accertarsi che il gambo
sia inserito nella pinza di un minimo di 20 mm o di metà della
sua lunghezza per il massimo della sicurezza dell'operazione.
Accertarsi che il dado della pinza sia serrato saldamente
utilizzando le chiavi inglesi fornite. Non serrare
eccessivamente.
Primadicominciarequalsiasitagliopermettereall'elettrofresa-
trice di raggiungere la massima velocità e lasciarla girare per
alcuni secondi. Se si sente qualsiasi rumore o vibrazione
insoliti:ARRESTAREimmediatamentelamacchinaeindagarne
la causa.
NON avviare la macchina con la fresa a contatto del pezzo da
fresare.
Controllare che il pezzo da lavorare non abbia chiodi, teste di
viti o qualsiasi cosa sporgente che possa danneggiare la fresa.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’ASSEMBLAGGIO
Prima di accingersi ad usare la fresatrice, leggere le seguenti
istruzioni.
AVVERTENZA: scollegare la macchina dall’alimentazione
elettrica prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione di regolazione,
manutenzione o cambio delle punte.
Estrarre la fresatrice dalla scatola insieme agli accessori.
Conservare la scatola fino a quando si sono individuati tutti
i pezzi.
FERMO PER LA REGOLAZIONE DELLA
PROFONDITÀ (FIG. 2)
Individuarel’alberodifermodellaprofondità.Allentareilpomello
di fissaggio (fig. 2.1) e abbassare l’albero nella sede della
fresatrice.(fig2.2).Lasciandolascalagraduatadellaprofondità
nella sua posizione più alta, serrare il pomello di fissaggio.
Prendere nota della misura della profondità sulla scala.
LEVA DI BLOCCAGGIO DEL CORPO DELLA
FRESATRICE (FIGG. 3 E 4)
Sul retro e sulla parte destra della fresatrice si trova l’impugnatura
di bloccaggio. Controllare che sia nella posizione sbloccata
(3.1).Ciòpermettedibloccare(3.2)ilcorpodellafresatricein
qualsiasi posizione verticale.
ABBASSAMENTO (FIG. 4)
Adottare una posizione del corpo ben bilanciata. Afferrare
entrambe le impugnature e spingere in basso per abbassare la
fresatrice. Il corpo della fresatrice deve spostarsi verso il basso.
Rilasciandolapressioneversoilbassolemollepermetteranno
al corpo della fresatrice di tornare nella posizione più alta.
PRESA PER L’ASPIRAZIONE DELLA POLVERE
(FIGG. 5 E 6)
Si raccomanda di usare la presa per l’aspirazione della polvere
(leggere le istruzioni di sicurezza specifiche relative alle
particelledi polvere che sono dannose per lasalute). Si può
acquistare un aspiratore commerciale idoneo oppure utilizzare
un tubo di aspirapolvere per aspirare le particelle di polvere

GUIDA PARALLELA (FIGG. 7 E 8)
Collocare la guida parallela sul banco da lavoro. Notare che le
due guide lunghe hanno una filettatura femmina ad un’estremità.
Avvicinarleallaguidaparallelaefissarleconibulloniesagonali
inchiavettati in dotazione. Serrarli con la chiave in dotazione
(fig.7).
Allentare i tre pomelli di fissaggio che si trovano nella base
dellafresatrice(fig.8).Avvicinarelaguidaparallelaallabasee
rifissare(8.1)itrepomelli(v.istruzioniperl’uso).
CAMBIO DELLA PINZA E INSERIMENTO DELLE
FRESE DELLA FRESATRICE (FIG. 9)
ATTENZIONE: CONTROLLARE CHE LA FRESATRICE SIA
SCOLLEGATA DALL’ALIMENTAZIONE ELETTRICA
Sono disponibili delle frese che permettono alla fresatrice di
tagliare diversi profili nel legno. Un esempio potrebbe essere il
bordo di una cornice decorativa.
Lamacchinavienefornitaconduepinzedidiversadimensione,
unada8mmel’altrada6mm(1/4dipollice).Ciòpermettealla
fresatrice di accettare frese di misura decimale o britannica.
C’è una grande varietà di punte da fresatrice per ottenere
diversefiniture.Alcunepuntesonotroppograndiperconsentire
il montaggio dell’aspiratore di polvere. In questi casi si deve
utilizzare una maschera antipolvere.
Individuare il blocco dell’albero sulla parte anteriore della
fresatrice, premerlo e tenerlo premuto. Con la chiave in dotazione
allentareildadodellapinza(fig.9)insensoantiorario.
Togliere il dado della pinza insieme alla pinza stessa ed eliminare
glieventualiframmentidaalberoepinza(perrimontarliseguire
laprocedurasopradescrittainsensoinverso).
Per inserire una fresa, allentare il dado della pinza ed inserire
l’asta della punta nella pinza. Controllare che la punta sia inserita
nella pinza per 20mm o almeno per metà della lunghezza
dell’asta. Se è inserita per una lunghezza inferiore, la punta
diventa instabile e potrebbe allentarsi. Premere e tenere premuto
il blocco dell’albero e serrare il dado della pinza. Controllare
periodicamente durante l’uso che questo dado sia serrato.
BOCCOLADELLAGUIDADELLAFRESATRICE(FIG.10)
Si noti che montando la boccola sulla guida si limita la misura
della punta che si può applicare alla fresatrice.
La boccola della guida si attacca alla base della fresatrice
e consente alla macchina di seguire un particolare profilo di
taglio. Si dovrà inoltre montare la presa di aspirazione della
polvere perché i punti di fissaggio della boccola fanno parte
dell’alloggiamento dell’aspiratore. Rimuovere le due viti che
fissano la presa di aspirazione. Mettere la boccola della guida
sullabaseefissarlaconledueviti(fig.10).Tuttelepuntedella
fresatrice devono essere inserite attraverso la guida.

REGOLAZIONE DELLA PROFONDITÀ DI
ABBASSAMENTO (FIGG. 3 E 11)
Per regolare la profondità di abbassamento rilasciare la leva
di bloccaggio dell’abbassamento ed applicare pressione sulle
impugnature della fresatrice fino ad ottenere la profondità
desiderata.Rifissarelalevadibloccaggio(v.fig.3).
Per scendere ad una profondità prestabilita, regolare il fermo di
profondità(11.1)ebloccarloinposizioneconilpomelloapposito
(fig.11).
È possibile effettuare una regolazione micrometrica ruotando la
rotellinaincimaalfermodellaprofondità(Fig.11.2)
TAGLI A PASSATE (FIG. 12)
Per tagliare in più fasi, nel fare tagli profondi che richiedono più
di una passata, usare la torretta di regolazione della profondità
(12.1) per facilitare l’operazione. Impostare la profondità
desiderata con il fermo calibrato nella posizione più bassa sulla
torretta. Ruotare la torretta in modo che il punto più alto sia
sotto al fermo di profondità ed effettuare il primo taglio/prima
passata(fig.12).Ripetereiltaglioallasecondaaltezzaeinfine
all’altezza desiderata.
Le passate possono essere eseguite anche usando due
posizioni quando il taglio è effettuabile in due sole passate.
AVVIO E ARRESTO (FIG. 13)
Tenere la fresatrice saldamente, con entrambe le mani
sulle impugnature. Prima premere con il pollice il pulsante di
sicurezzalaterale(fig.13.1)epoipremerel’interruttoreOn/Off
(13.2)conl’indiceetenerlopremuto.Èpossibileorarilasciare
il pulsante di sicurezza. Per arrestare la macchina è sufficiente
rilasciarel’interruttoreOn/Off(fig.13).
VELOCITÀ VARIABILE (FIG. 14)
Sulla parte frontale della macchina si trova il selettore della
velocitàvariabile(fig.14).Peraumentareodiminuirelavelocità
è sufficiente ruotare il selettore.
Più la fresa montata sulla fresatrice è piccola e maggiore deve
essere la velocità di rotazione.
Più la fresa montata sulla fresatrice è grande e minore deve
essere la velocità di rotazione.
Una punta/fresa che ruota troppo velocemente surriscalda il
pezzo in lavorazione lasciandovi una traccia di bruciato.
USO DELLA GUIDA PARALLELA (FIG. 15)
Laguidaparallelapuòessereusataperfareuntaglioaduna
distanza parallela al bordo del pezzo da lavorare.

Inserire la guida parallela nella base della fresatrice e impostare
ladistanzadesideratadallafresaallaguida(fig.15).
Fissare la guida in posizione con i due pomelli di bloccaggio.
Tenere la guida saldamente contro il bordo del pezzo da lavorare
ed eseguire l’operazione.
Per eseguire tagli circolari: smontare la guida parallela e
applicare la punta in dotazione (22, Fig. 1) su una delle due
barre di prolunga.
Per eseguire tagli su profili irregolari: alla struttura della guida
parallela può essere applicata l’apposita rotellina come illustrato
nella(fig.20).Guidarelafresatrice,conunaleggerapressione
laterale, lungo il bordo del pezzo da fresare.
DIREZIONE DEL TAGLIO (FIG. 16)
Per evitare la vibrazione della punta e per ottenere i migliori
risultati, i tagli vanno eseguiti in senso antiorario se esterni e in
sensoorarioseinterni(fig.16).
SOSTITUZIONE DELLE SPAZZOLE DI CARBONIO
(FIGG. 17 E 18)
Se le prestazioni della fresatrice sono scadenti o si notano troppe
scintille nelle fessure sulla parte superiore della macchina, le
spazzole di carbonio sono da sostituire.
Svitare le due viti con taglio a croce che fissano il coperchio sopra
le spazzole (fig. 17). Rimuovere il coperchio con attenzione.
Individuare le spazzole (una per lato), sollevarle ed estrarle.
Fare attenzione a non danneggiare il cablaggio. Trattenere il
corpoesternonero(18.1)erimuoverelaspazzoladicarbonio
molleggiata(fig.18).
Sostituire sempre le spazzole in coppia, richiedendole al
propriofornitore.Rimontarelaspazzolainposizione.Ripetere
l’operazione sull’altro lato.
Controllare che le fessure di ventilazione della macchina
rimangano libere da segatura/trucioli ecc. Mantenere le guide
pulite e lubrificarle con un olio leggero multiuso. Non ci sono
altre parti di questa unità che possano essere sottoposte a
manutenzione da parte dell’utente.

or vibration is heard STOP the machine immediately and
investigate the cause.
Do NOT start the machine with the router bit in contact with the
work piece.
Check the work piece for any protruding nails, screw heads or

Make sure the collet securing nut is loosely tightened in a
clockwise direction. This allows the dust extraction adapter to

PARALLEL FENCE (PICS.7&8)
Place the parallel fence on the work top. Notice that the two
long guide rods have a female thread at one end. Offer to the
parallel guide and secure with the supplied hexagonal keyed
bolts.Tightenwiththesuppliedkey(Pic.7).
SlackenthethreesecuringknobsthatarelocatedintheRouter
base(Pic.8).
Offertheparallelguideintothebaseandre-secure(Pic.8.1)the
threeknobs(seeoperatinginstructions).
CHANGING COLLET AND INSERTING ROUTER BITS

CAUTION:MAKESURETHEROUTERISISOLATEDFROM

Router bits are available to cut different profiles in wood.An
example would be the decorative edging on a dado rail.
The machine comes with two different sized collets in 8mm and
6mm(1/4”).ThisallowstheRoutertoacceptmetricorimperial
Routerbits.
ThereisalargevarietyofRouterbitstoachievedifferentfinishes.
CertainRouterbitsaretoolargetoenablethedustextractionto
be fitted. In these cases a dust mask must be worn.
Locatethespindlelock on the front of the Router,press and
holdin.Withthesuppliedspannerslackenthecolletnut(Pic.9)
inananti-clockwisedirection.
Removethecolletnutalongwiththecolletandcleananydebris
awayfromthe spindle and collet (refitting is a reverse ofthe
aboveprocedure).
ToinsertaRouterbitslackenthecolletnutandinserttheRouter
bit shaft into the collet. Make sure at least 20mm or at least
halftheshaftlengthoftheRouterbitinsertsintothecollet.Any
lessandtheRouterbitwouldbecomeunstableandcouldwork
loose. Press and hold the spindle lock and tighten the collet nut.
Periodically check the tightness of this nut when working.
ROUTER GUIDE BUSH (PIC.10)
Note,fittingtheguidebushwillrestrictthesizeofRouterbitthat
can be used.
The Router guide bush attaches to the Router base and
allows the machine to follow a particular cutting profile. The
dust extraction outlet will also have to be fitted as the securing
points for the guide bush are a part of the extraction housing.
Removethetwoscrewsthatsecurethedustextractionoutlet.
Place the guide bush onto the base and secure with the two
screws(Pic.10).
AnyRouterbitswillhavetobeinsertedthroughtheguide.

ADJUSTING THE PLUNGE DEPTH (PICS.3 & 11)
To adjust the plunge depth release the plunge locking lever and
applypressuretothehandlesoftheRouteruntiltherequired
depthisachieved.Re-securethelockinglever(seePic.3).
Toplungetoapredetermineddepthadjustthedepthstop(11.1)
andlockinpositionwiththelockingknob(Pic.11).
It is possible to perform a micrometric adjustment by rotating the
topcurvebufferatthedepthstop(Pic.11.2)
MAKING MULTIPLE PASS CUTS (PIC.12)
To cut in stages, when making deep cuts that require more than
onecutusethedepthstopturret(12.1)toassisttheprocedure.
Set the desired depth with the depth stop gauge to the lowest
depth stop turret post.
Rotatetheturretsothehighestpointisunderthedepthstopand
makethefirstcut/pass(Pic.12).
Repeatthecutatthesecondheightandfinallyatthedesired
height.
Passes can also be made using two of the positions when the
cut can be made in only two passes.
STARTING AND STOPPING (PIC.13)
HoldtheRouterfirmlywithbothhandsonthegrips.Firstpress
with your thumb the side safety pushbutton  (13.1) and then
presstheOn/Offswitch(13.2)withyourindexfingerandhold.
It is now possible to release the safety pushbutton. To stop the
machinesimplyreleasetheOn/Offswitch(Pic.13).
VARIABLE SPEED (PIC.14)
Locatedonthefrontofthemachineisthevariablespeeddial
(Pic. 14). Simply rotate the dial to increase or decrease the
speed.ThesmallerthebitassembledontheRouterthefaster
the rotation speed must be. The larger the bit assembled on the
Routertheslowertherotationspeedmustbe.
AbitforRouterthatisrotatingtoofastwillscorchtheworkpiece
leaving a burn trace.
USING THE PARALLEL GUIDE (PIC.15)
The parallel guide can be used to make a cut at a parallel
distance from the edge of the work piece.
SlidetheparallelfenceintothebaseoftheRouterandsetthe
desireddistancefromthecuttertothefence(Pic.15).
Secure the fence in place with the two locking knobs.
Hold the fence securely against the edge of the work piece and
perform the operation.
To perform circular cuts: disassemble the parallel fence and
usethe bit supplied (22, Pic. 1) on oneof the two extension
bars.
To perform cuts on irregular profiles: the appropriate buffer
may be applied to the structure of the mitre fence as shown in
