FOGLIO ISTRUZIONI PER UNITA’ DI CONTROLLO
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
+SMART
1. PRINCIPIO DI FUNZIONAMENTO
Il dispositivo +SMART è un’unità di controllo avanzato che
combina le funzionalità PLC IEC 61131-3 e la connessione
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n.
Può essere utilizzato per tutte le elettrovalvole ODE,
dotate di solenoide con connessione EN 175301-803
(Ex DIN43650/A) e aventi una tensione nominale di 24V DC.
Grazie ai molteplici canali I/O è possibile connettere svari-
ate tipologie di sensori e attuatori.
Per ulteriori informazioni tecniche fare riferimento al
“Manuale Utente” e “Scheda Tecnica”.
2. CONNESSIONE USB
Il dispositivo +SMART è dotato di una porta di connessio-
ne USB con la quale è possibile connettere un PC per la
programmazione attraverso CODESYS, fare riferimento al
“Manuale Utente” per ulteriori informazioni.
Sequenza per poter accedere al connettore USB:
• svitare la vite centrale nel coperchio e rimuoverla;
• svitare le quattro viti ai lati del coperchio;
• rimuovere il coperchio;
• connettere un comune cavo dati USB dotato di con-
nessione Micro-B;
• per la programmazione il dispositivo deve essere ali-
mentato ed attendere il termine della fase di BOOT;
• togliere l’alimentazione prima di rimuovere la connes-
sione USB.
2. INDICAZIONI LED
LED verde | indica la presenza di alimentazione alla CPU.
LED rosso |indica lo stato operativo della CPU, du-
rante la fase di BOOT il LED avrà luce lampeggiante
due volte al secondo, una volta completato, il LED
lampeggierà una volta al secondo.
LED RGB | impostabile attraverso CODESYS, secondo
le esigenze del cliente.
3 . CONNESSIONI
Eseguire tutte le connessioni elettriche con il dispositivo
NON alimentato.
• Connettere il dispositivo +SMART al solenoide come un
comune connettore per elettrovalvole EN 175301-803
comma 5.3.1 (Ex DIN43650/A);
• assicurarsi di aver interposto la guarnizione tra bobina
e dispositivo;
• avvitare la vite centrale sul retro del connettore sino
al bloccaggio;
• connettere il cavo mutlipolare come da schema elet-
trico sotto riportato (fig.1)
Una volta terminate tutte le connessioni è possibile alimentare
il dispositivo.
Se una o più connessioni non vengono utilizzate, isolare i
cavi liberi con appropriati dispositivi.
5. RIAVVIO FORZATO
Per riavviare il dispositivo +SMART togliere l’alimentazione
per almeno 5 secondi. Durante il riavvio il dispositivo ese-
guirà nuovamente la fase di BOOT.

1. PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The +SMART device is an advanced control unit that com-
bines PLC IEC 61131-3 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n connection.
The +SMART device can be used for all ODE’s solenoid valve,
equipped coil with EN 175301-803
(Ex DIN43650/A) electrical connection and power supply
24V DC .
Thanks of multi-channel I/O it is possible to connect to
various type of sensor and actuator.
For further technical information please refer to “User’s
Guide” and “Datasheet”.
2. USB CONNECTION
The +SMART device is equipped with USB connection port
with which is possible to connect a PC for programming
through CODESYS, please refer to “User’s Guide” for addi-
tional information.
Mounting sequence for the access to USB connection
• unscrew the central screw and remove it;
• unscrew the four screw at the side of cover;
• remove the cover;
• connect a common data USB cable with Micro-B
connector;
• For programming the device must to be powered
end wait until BOOT step is finished;
• switch OFF the power before removing USB connection.
2. LED INDICATORS
Green LED | indicates the presence of CPU power
supply.
Red LED | indicates operative state of CPU, during
BOOT step LED blink tow time at second, when it’s
completed LED will blink one time at second.
RGB LED | LED is customizable with CODESYS accor-
ding to customer’s needs.
3. CONNECTIONS
Make all electrical connection with device not powered.
• Connect the +SMART device to the coil like a
common solenoid valve connector EN 175301-803
(Ex DIN43650/A);
• be sure that gasket is between coil and device;
• then fasten the central screw on rear side of connec-
tor until the screw is blocked.
• multipolar connect the cable as per wiring diagram (fig.1).
When whole connections are finished it is possible to power
ON the supply.
If one or more connections are not used, the free cables
must to be isolated with specific device.
5. FORZCED RESTART
To restar the +SMART device power OFF the supply for at
least 5 seconds. During restart the device will redo BOOT step.
