INTRODUCTION SIROCCO MACHINE
SIROCCO is the new concept of multi FX machine developed and manufactured by OhFX
(CONFETTISHOTS, SL)
The particular advantage of this machine is that thanks to its interchangeable head system,
you can easily replace the head of the machine and use it for many other FX in a professional
way. Thus, you can take advantage of the top performances of its turbine with adjustable
base. Despite being a multi FX machine, its versatility does not diminish the performance in
each eff ect, exceeding even many other specifi c machines for that eff ect.
You can get, up to 6 completely diff erent eff ects, and other new ones that will be soon
developed.
Available heads for diff erent eff ects:
Sky dancer or wind eff ect: Raise easily Sky dancers of 6 and 8 meters, or create a wind
eff ect.
Foam Cannon: Creates a tremendous jet of dense and dry foam reaching up to 12
meters
Foam generator: hung on height, generates and drops a lot of foam in cascade
Snow: It produces a lovely artifi cial snow up to 15 meters covering a large area.
Very realistic eff ect.
Vulcano: A new eff ect producing an eruption of confetti with columns of 10 meters high.
Incredible eff ect when using several machines.
Confetti blower: It blows and propels all kind of confetti in a continuous way to 10 - 15
meters
This means great savings by having a single turbine for multiple purposes, and at the same
time saves you space in your warehouse. And obviously, a very reduced investment for the
purchase of additional heads.
Sirocco turbine is supplied with the Sky dancer head fi xed on it as a protection grille. Thus, in
addition to the eff ect for which you purchased your FX head, you can also use the Sirocco to
blow and raise Sky dancers (not included with the price).
The diff erent FX heads are easily exchanged by unscrewing the screws that hold the Sky
dancer head that comes attached to the turbine you have received, and replacing by the
desired FX head.
Below are the instructions for assembly/disassembly of the Sky dancer head supplied and
also for the diff erent available FX heads.

1- Assembling: To assemble the acquired FX head, you must previously remove the Sky
dancer head supplied from the turbine by loosening and removing the screws
Fix then the Foam cannon head on the turbine using the supplied screws, and lining up the
4 holes. Place the machine in the intended place, either on a fl at and stable surface or on a
tripod or even better on the fl ightcase we propose, by inserting the tube piece included with
the fl ightcase into the accommodation for tripod. In case of use of a tripod, make sure that
it can hold at least 50 kgs. Adjust the inclination of the machine (advisable about 45°) and
tighten the locking knobs. Using a tripod or the fl ightcase tripod, allows you to rotate the
machine, covering thus a larger area.
2- Water connection: Connect the Inlet Water tap supplied to the water connection of
the machine. With the water tap closed (on the image shown is open), you can connect the
water hose and open the main circuit of your water source. The PREMIX connection must
be covered with the supplied Stopper cap (this PREMIX connection only will be used in case
you need or wish to work with a water tank + a pump)
3- Foam fl uid Connection: Connect the absorption tube of foam fl uid supplied to the
foam fl uid connection (FOAM). At the other end of this tube, there’s a fi lter, which must be
inserted into the foam fl uid bottle ready to use. Check that the stopcock (small black plastic
tap) is open. This small tap is to regulate the entry of foam fl uid, although it is better to leave
it completely open. Since the machine mixes the fl uid with the incoming water, it is better to
regulate the outfl ow of the machine with the Inlet Water tap and thus not to deregulate the
proportion of foam fl uid and water.

4- Power connection: connect the plug of the machine to a socket. (The engine of the
machine has an IP-65 protection, which means the machine can get wet (but not submerge)
without any risk.
5- Set up: The machine is now ready for operation. Turn ON the machine by the ON/OFF
switch and the machine will begin to blow. Then open the Inlet Water tap. The machine will
start throwing some water, and as soon as begins to absorb the foam fl uid, will create a nice
foam jet. You can adjust the intensity and distance of the foam jet by opening more or less
the Inlet Water tap. If the foam cannon does not produce a foam jet of about 10 mts, please
refer to the FAQ section, here after.
6- Stop and Disassembly: Close the Inlet Water tap and Turn OFF the ON/OFF switch.
It is recommended to clean the inner circuit of the machine after use. To do this, you must
connect the Inlet Water tap, this time onto the foam fl uid connection (FOAM) and let the
water run for a few seconds to remove any remaining foam fl uid. Water will come out on the
back of the machine (motor) although this will not damage the machine at all.
WATER TANK AND PUMP
Although Sirocco foam cannon is ready to work without need of a pump and water tank with
the foam mixture, you may fi nd that where you plan to use the foam cannon, you do not have
either enough water pressure (< 2 BAR) or if there is pressure, the water fl ow is weak. In these
cases it is recommended to work with a water pump.
We recommend our submersible water pump with following specifi cations:
POWER: 1.5 HP AND 220 V
HEAD GAUGE RANGE: 15 - 60 M
FLOW RANGE: 1000 A 7000 L/H
WEIGHT: 16,5 KG
You then can choose if to pump only
the water to the foam cannon, or pump
a PREMIX (the mixure of water + foam
fl uid)
Water tank and pump

INSTRUCTION MANUAL

PUMPING WATER
1- Fill your tank with water.
2- Submerge the pump into the tank. It should be in horizontal position so that the pump
is always well refrigerated. The pump cannot run out of water. (Risk of burning). In a similar
way, the pump does not stop alone; In case of closing the water inlet tap of the machine, you
must turn off the pump by its outside switch provided.
3- Connect the hose coming from the pump, to the inlet water tap of the machine. Cover
the PREMIX connection with the provided stopper caps.
4- Now you can proceed with point 2 of ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION previously
described. During the use of the machine, you may wish to let a water hose fi lling the tank
(specially if your tank is not too big). In this way, in the meantime the machine is consuming
water, you get more water inside the tank and thus it takes longer to empty the tank.
PUMPING PREMIX
Working with PREMIX means having the foam fl uid already diluted and mixed in a tank from
which the mixture is directly pumped to the foam cannon.
1- Fill your tank with water, and add the foam FLUID at the rate indicated on the bottle
of your foam fl uid. Our foam fl uids are Concentrate and the suggested dose is at 1,8 to 2%.
When working with PREMIX, it is then not necessary to use the absorption tube for foam
fl uid provided.
2- Connect the hose coming from the pump output, to the PREMIX connection on the
machine. Cover the WATER and FOAM fl uid connections with the provided stopper caps,
and proceed with steps 4, 5 and 6 previously described
• Only and adult and qualifi ed person should operate the machine.
• Keep in mind that the engine can be wet but not submerge, even so, it is recommended
that the power cable stays away from the area.
• Always use specifi c foam fl uids for foam parties, as the ones OhFX has developed:
• FFDC: High concentrate foam fl uid. Disappears after 20 minutes.
(Recommended for outdoor foam parties)
• FFP: High concentrate foam fl uid long duration. Stays about 1 hour on the fl oor.
(Recommended for Indoor foam parties)

CONSUMPTIONS OF WATER AND FOAM FLUID
The water and foam fl uid consumption depends on some variables such as: the water pressure,
outfl ow and amount of foam generated by the machine. The values displayed below are the
average consumption and the most common ones when using our high concentrate foam
fl uid.
Consumptions when working without PREMIX
WATER: 40 TO 60 L/MIN
FOAM FLUID: 0,7 TO 1,2 L/MIN
Consumptions when working with PREMIX
WATER: 50 TO 80 L/MIN
FOAM FLUID: 1,2 TO 2,6 L/MIN
FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
• How do I know if my water source has enough pressure and outfl ow in order to
work without need of any pump?
If your Sirocco foam cannon generates a foam jet at a distance shorter than 8 metres, or if
the foam produced is not homogenous but sprayed and broken, probably you don’t have
suffi cient pressure and/or water outfl ow. In this case, it will be advisable to use a pump
and water tank as suggested on above section “water tank and pump”.
• The Jet of foam produced by the canon is not as compact as appears on the video.
After verifying that your water source is correct, the problem most probably will be with the
concentration of foam fl uid that you are using. When using our High concentrate foam fl uid,
you should dilute the fl uid at 25% with water and this dissolution will be then absorbed by
the machine and mixed with more water from your water source. If you are working with
a water tank + pump, then you should prepare the foam mixure (PREMIX) by mixing at a
rate of 2%.
• The jet of foam produced, is compact but does not reach very far.
If you have the necessary pressure and water outfl ow, try to close a little the inlet water tap
and allow the turbine to project some further the foam produced. Also remember to place
the machine focused in the same direction as the wind, whenever possible

INSTRUCTION MANUAL
11
• The machine does not absorb the foam fl uid
Although the foam cannon is supplied with an absorption tube of 3 meters, this does not
mean you can place the bottle of foam fl uid 3 meters below the level of the machine, as
you could fi nd to not have enough pressure to absorb the foam fl uid. We recommend to
put the foam fl uid bottle just beside the machine, or maximum 1,5-1,8mts below the level
of the machine. It could also be cause of air entering through the absortion tube. (check
that clamps are tight)
• What length of water hose can I use to feed the foam Cannon?
Again, this will depend on the water pressure and outfl ow which you have on your place.
If using a water pump look at the technical details of the pump.
SIROCCO FOAM GENERATOR
The Sirocco machine equipped with its foam generator head, creates a large amount of foam
that falls in cascade. Therefore it becomes ideal to have it hung and organize your foam
parties in nightclubs or for children.

2- For operation of the foam generator, please refer to the section “assembly and
operation” of Sirocco foam cannon (pages 6-9) as it works in the same way. The diff erence
is that with the foam generator, the foam is not projected at distance, but will fall down from
the foam head.
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
• The generator does not create foam, or just a small amount.
If the machine is correctly connected as described in assembly section, then the problem
is because it doesn’t arrive enough foam fl uid to the generator. If you have the machine
hung at a certain height, make sure that you have enough water pressure so that the
machine can suck the foam fl uid up to the height of the machine. Either, raise the carafe of
foam fl uid up to the height of the generator. If this is not possible, then you need to use a
water tank with foam fl uid diluted inside and pump this mixture up to the machine, via the
PREMIX connection.

1- Replacement of the grille: before fi xing the Vulcano head, it is advisable to replace the
grille on the rear side of the turbine, and set the perforated grille supplied with the head, using
the same screws (do it with the machine disconnected). This black perforated grille, is used
to prevent the machine to get clogged when sucking confetti that is falling over. If you are to
use it several times on the same place, make sure to clean the confetti around before so that
to avoid this obstruction or performance loss.
2- Placement: Attach the Vulcano head to the turbine using the screws supplied, and
lining up the 4 holes. Place the machine in the intended place, either on a fl at and stable
surface on a tripod. In case of use of a tripod, make sure that it can hold at least 50 kgs
Adjust the inclination of the machine (advisable to use it vertically) and tighten the locking
knobs. You can also use it with a diff erent inclination, although its best performance is when
it is oriented vertically.
3. Confetti: insert the confetti inside the Vulcano head, by the Output of Air and confetti
exit Do not put more than 500 grams of confetti, because otherwise it will be hard for the
turbine to raise them. Now you can already turn ON the machine.
4. Power supply: connect the plug of the machine to a socket. Now you can turn on the
manual ON/OFF switch and the machine will begin to blow
You can activate the machine remotely thanks to a pushbutton switch connected to the
machine, or even by DMX via a Dimmer switch box. For this purpose, you must leave the
turbine in the position ON from its Manual switch ON/OFF. You can also connect more than
one machine and operate them simultaneously creating an amazing eff ect.
Remember that each machine consumes 1200 W, but on the boot/turning ON moment it
consumes approximately 3000 W. Make sure that the installation, DMX, or Dimmer devices
resist this consumption.
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
Remember that to assemble the acquired FX head, you must previously remove the Sky
dancer head supplied from the turbine by loosening and removing the screws
It is important to make sure that there is enough height so that the confetti does not touch the
ceiling or even prevents that the confetti is raised well.

clogging the hose.
When using small confetti or artifi cial snow, you can put it in a box and suck it with the fl exible
hose supplied and thus better control the amount of confetti to blow. If the fl exible hose gets
stucked/clogged it is because you have fed the confetti too fast. In that case, disconnect the
hose and remove the confetti clogged.
