Design Change of New Hand-pieces
The new hand-pieces, MFR-H1-SC, MFR-H2-ST & MFR-H4-TW, do not contain the motion switch which
detects movement and activates the “Auto-Standby” or “Auto-Off” modes in the existing model, MFR-PS1K.
Backwards Compatibility: New Hand-pieces to Old Power Supply
The new hand-pieces can be used with the old power supplies (MFR-PS1K) but MUST also include an Auto
Sleep Workstand (WS1). NOTE: When the new hand-pieces are used with the MFR-PS1K, the “Auto-Off”
function will not function. WHILE THE NEW HAND-PIECES CAN BE USED WITH THE EXISTING POWER
SUPPLY (MFR-PS1K), IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
Forward Compatibility: Old Hand-pieces to New Power Supply
The new power supply (MFR-PS2200) will operate all of the old hand-pieces. HOWEVER, the old hand-
pieces must use Auto Sleep Workstands to retain the "sleep" function.
