Instructions for use
The appliance is ready for use when the plug is inserted into a socket. Adjust the
switch-settings (3 temperature settings, 2 speed settings) on the desired power level.
You can press the cold button for any of the heat and speed settings.

Cleaning
Only clean the appliance when it is cold.
Remove the plug from the socket.
Clean the exterior with a slightly damp cloth.
Unscrew & clean the removable air filter regularly.
Regularly inspect the air inlet grill (located below removable air filter)
to see if it is dirty. If necessary: clean the air inlet grill with a suitable brush.
Do not allow water or other liquids onto or inside the appliance.
Safety precautions
Before using the hair dryer, make sure that the appliance’s plug conforms to that of the
socket. Basic precautions, including those listed below, must be followed when using
electrical appliances especially if there are children nearby.
Your hairdryer is a high performance product and the nozzles get hot when in use.
DO NOT place on a heat sensitive surface. Allow to cool before touching.

Carefully read all the safety instructions before using the appliance,
in order to limit the risk of an electric shock
1. Remove the plug from the socket once you have finished using the appliance.
2.
Do not use appliance when in bathtub or shower, over a sink full of water, or with wet hands.
3. Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, basins or other vessels containing water.
4. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
5. If the product comes into contact with water, do not handle it. Remove the plug from the
socket immediately.
Warning - To reduce the risk of re, fatal electric shock, burns or injury
1. Never leave the appliance unattended if it is switched on. Always wait until the appliance
has cooled down.
2. Always carefully keep an eye on the situation if the unit is used by/for/near children or
disabled people.
3. Only use the appliance for its intended use.
4. Only use parts or components that have been sold or recommended by the manufacturer.
5. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces. Regularly check to ensure that the appliance
is not damaged, in particular where the cable is inserted and the plug. In case of doubt,
have the appliance checked by an authorized service center.
6. If the appliance is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water,
do not try to open it up. Contact customer service for assistance.
7. The appliance heats up considerably while in use so ensure it does not come into contact
with bare skin.
8. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance. Leave it loose.
9. If the appliance’s power cord is damaged, contact the manufacturer, customer service or a
similar qualified person for replacement. This is the only way of avoiding possible risks.
10. If you use the appliance in the bathroom, remove the plug from the socket after use since
the proximity of water constitutes a danger even when the power is switched off.
11. As an additional protection, we recommend installing a safety system for fault currents
measured with a current of not more than 30mA in the electrical circuit.
Ask your installer for advice.
12. The appliance may not be used by people (including children) who have reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack experience and/or awareness, unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or receive instructions from the latter concerning use of
the appliance.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs.

Warranty
This Olivia Garden hair dryer carries a limited warranty against defects in material or workmanship
for 6 months. This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER:
•
Damage caused by a blocked dryer filter cap or by not regularly cleaning the dryer filter or vents.
• Normal wear and tear such as shorts in the power supply cord or plug, or hair inside of dryer.
• Damage due to misuse and abuse such as but not limited to: dropping, foreign objects inside of
dryer, wrong voltage supply, neglect in safety precautions
• Tampering such as repair or attempted repair by unauthorized party
• Damage results from use of unauthorized attachments
Where valid
The limited warranty is valid only in South Africa & Namibia. Hair dryer must be purchased from
an authorized Olivia Garden reseller. Void where prohibited.

Any implied warranties, obligations, or liabilities, including but not limited to the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness
for a particular purpose, shall be limited in duration to the 6 months duration of this written limited warranty. In no event shall
Olivia Garden and/or your local distributor be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages for breach of this
or any other warranty, express or implied, whatsoever.
