IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present,
basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

DANGER – As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live
even when the switch is off:
To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
1. Always “unplug it” immediately after using.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
5. If an appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immediately. Do not reach into the water.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury:
1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children or individuals with
certain disabilities.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
4. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
5. Do not use this device in a bathtub, shower, or water-filled reservoir.
6. Never use while sleeping.
7. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
8. Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat sensitive areas.
9. Do not place appliance on any surface while it is operating.
10. Never block the air opening of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as bed or couch, where the air
openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
11. Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
12. Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling.
13. While using the appliance, keep your hair away from the air inlet.
14. Do not operate with a voltage converter.
15. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
16. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
17. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has been
dropped, damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
18. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Instructions for use
Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet (220-240V AC). Power on the appliance using the ON button.
Adjust the settings with the buttons (3 temperature settings, 3 speed settings) to achieve the desired power and
temperature level. After using, power off using the OFF button and unplug the appliance.

Cleaning
Clean daily for professional use and weekly for home use.
1. With dryer unplugged, remove the air filter grill ①by twisting it ¼ turn counterclockwise
to access the inner
mesh filter. Clean both the air filter grill & inner mesh filter with the
provided brush ⑬to remove dust and buildup.
2. While dryer is plugged in but turned OFF, press & hold the reverse airflow button ⑦ for
10 seconds. Air will flow backwards from inner mesh filter (to remove dust & particles) and
will automatically turn off after 15 seconds. When done, return air filter grill ①in its place
by twisting ¼ turn clockwise. OG logo on grill should face upwards when correctly placed.
3. Unplug hair dryer. Only clean the appliance when it is cold.
Wipe exterior of hair dryer with a slightly damp cloth.
4. Do not operate hairdryer with a clogged filter.
Do not allow water or other liquids onto or inside the appliance.
Safety precautions
Before using the hair dryer, make sure that the appliance’s plug conforms to that of the socket. Basic precautions,
including those listed below, must be followed when using electrical appliances especially if there are children nearby.
Your hairdryer is a high performance product. The nozzle and diffuser get hot when in use.
DO NOT place on a heat sensitive surface. Allow to cool before touching.

Operating Instructions
This appliance is intended for household use only. Use on Alternating current (50-60Hz) only. Standard appliances
are designed to operate at rated voltage.
Caution
Never allow the power supply cord to be pulled or twisted. Never wrap the cord around the unit. Damage will
occur at the high flex point of entry into the unit, causing it to rupture and short circuit. Inspect the cord frequently for
damage. Stop use immediately if damage is visible or if unit stops or operates intermittently.
Storage
When not in use your appliance is easy to store. Allow unit to cool, then simply put back in the box and store out of
reach of children in a safe, dry location. Do not pull or strain cord at plug connections.
Warranty
This Olivia Garden hair dryer carries a limited warranty against defects in material or workmanship
for 6 months. This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER:
•
Damage caused by blocked dryer filters or by not regularly cleaning the dryer filters or grill.
• Normal wear and tear such as shorts in the power supply cord or plug, or hair inside of dryer.
• Damage due to misuse and abuse such as but not limited to: dropping, foreign objects inside of
dryer, wrong voltage supply, neglect in safety precautions
• Tampering such as repair or attempted repair by unauthorized party
• Damage results from use of unauthorized attachments
Where valid
The limited warranty is valid only in South Africa. Hair dryer must be purchased from an authorized
Olivia Garden reseller.
