Omcan Manufacturing and Distributing Company Inc., Food Machinery of America, Inc. dba Omcan
and Omcan Inc. are not responsible for any harm or injury caused due to any person’s improper or
negligent use of this equipment. The product shall only be operated by someone over the age of 18, of
sound mind, and not under the inuence of any drugs or alcohol, who has been trained in the correct
operation of this machine, and is wearing authorized, proper safety clothing. Any modication to the
machine voids any warranty, and may cause harm to individuals using the machine or in the vicinity of
the machine while in operation.
CHECK PACKAGE UPON ARRIVAL
Upon receipt of an Omcan shipment please inspect for external damage. If no damage is evident on the
external packaging, open carton to ensure all ordered items are within the box, and there is no concealed
damage to the machine. If the package has su󰀨ered rough handling, bumps or damage (visible or concealed),
please note it on the bill of lading before accepting the delivery and contact Omcan within 24 hours, so we may
initiate a claim with the carrier. A detailed report on the extent of the damage caused to the machine must be
lled out within three days, from the delivery date shown in the shipping documents. Omcan has no recourse
for damaged products that were shipped collect or third party.
Before operating any equipment, always read and familiarize yourself with all operation and safety
instructions.
Omcan would like to thank you for purchasing this machine. It’s of the utmost importance to save
these instructions for future reference. Also save the original box and packaging for shipping the
equipment if servicing or returning of the machine is required.

de las 24 horas, de modo que podamos iniciar una reclamación con la compañia. Un informe detallado sobre
los daños causados a la máquina debe ser llenado en el plazo de tres días, desde la fecha de entrega que se
muestra en los documentos de envío. Omcan no tiene ningun recurso por productos dañados que se enviaron
a recoger por terceros.

Safety and Warranty
Within the warranty period, contact Omcan Inc. at 1-800-465-0234 to schedule an Omcan authorized
service technician to repair the equipment locally.
Unauthorized maintenance will void the warranty. Warranty covers electrical and part failures, not
improper use.

WARNING:
The packaging components are classied as normal solid urban waste and can therefore be disposed of
without di󰀩culty.
In any case, for suitable recycling, we suggest disposing of the products separately (di󰀨erentiated
waste) according to the current norms.
DO NOT DISCARD ANY PACKAGING MATERIALS IN THE ENVIRONMENT!

Installation
Store the unit upright. If the unit has been stored or transported on its back, front or sides then it must be place
upright for at least an hour before switching on. Place the unit on a at and stable surface as far away from
heat sources as possible.
Note: do not move the unit by lifting either the door or door handle as this may cause damage to the
cabinet.
Please ensure the correct aperture size is made available for this unit: the correct aperture size should give
a gap of approximately 1.18” / 30mm between the top of the cabinet and the underside of the back bar and
between the back of the unit and the wall. Poor ventilation due to insu󰀩cient aperture size is likely to cause:
reduced cooling, icing up, or premature compressor failure.

GENERAL OPERATION
The cabinet door should remain rmly closed during normal operation. This prevents warm moist air entering
and creating frost within the cabinet. If the cabinet is left open for extended periods, ice will form. This will
prevent cooling and the machine will then require defrosting.
The unit should be left switched on, and should not be switched o󰀨 between trading sessions. The cabinet is
designed to chill product in sealed containers only (bottles, cans, etc.) It is not recommended that glasses of
drink or similar are placed in the unit for cooling.
CONTROLS
The thermostat control is located below the doors on the front of the appliance. Refrigeration is switched on
and o󰀨 at the main supply. The light is controlled independently by using the toggle switch provided at the front
of the unit.
Warning: if the supply cord is damaged, the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons must replace it in order to avoid a hazard.
Disconnect from the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
• Clean the enclosure and interior of the cabinet as often as possible.
• Clean the unit with a damp cloth. Never allow the switch, control panel, cable of plug to get wet.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. These can leave harmful residues.
• Use only mild soapy water.
• Clean the door seal with water only.
• Ensure that no water penetrates into the electrical components.

Troubleshooting
• Do not clean with a water jet.
• Always wipe dry after cleaning with a soft cloth.
• Take care when cleaning the rear of the cabinet.
• A qualied technician must carry our repairs if required.
• If the cabinet is to be left inactive for long periods, unplug the cabinet after turning the lamp switch to the o󰀨
position, empty the unit and clean thoroughly.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
The below instructions are for qualied technicians.
• Periodically clean the condenser using suitable tools (vacuum cleaner or soft brush).
• Check that the electrical connections are not loose.
• Check that the thermostat and the sensor are in proper working order.
• Periodically cleaning the condenser can extend the life of the appliance.
• Failure to keep the condenser clean will reduce the refrigeration performance of the cabinet.

Ambient temperature is too high. Increase ventilation or move the appliance
to a more suitable location.
The appliance is overloaded. Reduce the amount of product in the
appliance.

unusually loud.
Loose nut/screw. Check and tighten all nuts and screws.
The appliance has not been installed in a
level or stable location.
Check installation position and change if
necessary.

The discharge outlet is blocked. Clear the discharge outlet.
