hydraulic parts.
This manual may include illustrations of the machine with protective covers, doors… are open or
removed in order to describe the components of the product in detail. Make sure that these parts
are looked during the machine use.
Always connect the 3 phase + ground to the machine and check the tension
before give the power (neutral where the power of the country required).
Do not remove front cover, terminal covers, cables…while the power
is being supplied. Doing so may result in electric shock.
Installation, operation, maintenance, or inspection must be performed by
authorized personnel. Not doing so may result in electric shock or injury.
Wiring or inspection must not be performed for at least fifteen minutes
after turning OFF the power supply or more for brushless devices.
Doing so may result electrical shock
Do not damage, press, or put excessive stress to the cable or heavy
objects on the cables. Doing so may result electrical shock
Do not touch any rotating or moving parts in operations. Do so may
result in injury.
Do not modify parts of the machines without authorization of OMG.
Doing so may result in injury or damage to the product
Securities release key is positioned in the front of the machine electric
board; the key releases all securities on machine safety doors.
It’s recommended to give the key only to a trained and expert person well

motor runaway, injury, or malfunction
Be sure that all mounting screws, terminal screws, and cable connector
screws are tightened to the torque specified. Incorrect tightening torque
may result in malfunction
Always use the power supply voltage specified in electrical schema. An
incorrect voltage may result in malfunction or burning

MF 64
Author: Donato Gavino Murru donato.gavino.murru@omgitaly.com Pag. 11 a 179
Take appropriate measures to ensure that the specified power with the
rated voltage and frequency is supplied. Be particularly careful in
places where the power supply is unstable. An incorrect power supply
may result in malfunction
Install external breakers and take other safety measures against short
circuiting in external wiring. Insufficient safety measures short-circuiting
may result in burning
Take appropriate and sufficient countermeasures when installing the
machine in following locations
Locations subject to electricity noise
Locations subject to strong electromagnetic fields and magnetic fields
Locations subject to possible exposure to radioactivity
Locations close to power supplies
For any extra-ordinary maintenance ask to technical assistance of OMG

Operation and Adjustment Precautions
Confirm that no adverse effects will occur in the system before
performing the setup or maintenance operation. Not doing so may
result in equipment damage
Check the newly set parameters for proper execution before actually
running them. Not doing so may result in equipment damage
Do not make any extreme adjustments or setting changes. Doing so
may result in unstable operation and injury
When for some maintenance you provide to demounting some parts from the
machine, must be sure to re connecting in same place and in same way that is
provided form OMG. Doing so may result in unstable operation and injury
When an alarm occurs, remove the cause, reset the alarm after
confirming safety, and then resume operation. Not doing so may
result injury
Do not come close to the machine immediately after resetting
momentary power interruption or after resetting an error to avoid an
unexpected restart. (Take appropriate measures to secure safety
against an unexpected restart.) Doing so may result in injury
Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify any units before
talking with OMG. Any attempt to do so may result malfunction, fire,
or electrical shock.

Overview
Generalities about the machine –description –performances
This thermoforming line is designed to obtain products starting from a thermoplastic roll. This
material is in a film state, dragged through the process by a special high strength pin chain system.
The film advance is done by automatic cycle fully adjustable in length and time established by the
operator, according to its needs. The final product is obtaining through series of automatic steps
realize by different groups of components in the automatic process.
The first phase of the thermoforming process is called: “heating”. The plastic sheet
is heated by infrared resistors, at a temperature according to the sheet morphology
setup by the operator.
The second phase is called: “forming”. The material is transported inside the
molding tables. Tables are closing and the hot plastic is formed by the shape of the
mold.
Third phase consist of “punching” the formed sheet with a drilling station.
Fourth phase consist of “cutting” the formed sheet with a trim press.
Fifth phase is to “stack” the product that had been cut previously by the press. They
are stacked, at a preset setting choose by the operator, and extracted from the
machine, ready for being packed manually in boxes.
