INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST TIME OPERATION
1. Download the OmGate Smart Phone application from the Apple store or
Google Play store.
2. Follow the instructions in the application, which includes entering your mobile
phone number as part of the Registration process.
3. Shortly after entering your Mobile phone number (up to 1 minute), you will
receive a text message with a 4-digit identification code that you can then type
into the application to complete the process.
4. During the first installation process only, if you are within Bluetooth range of
your Omgate unit, a test screen will appear. Tapping the virtual button on the
screen will activate the Omgate output relay.
5. After the successful test, you will then have the ability to create a name and
assign a location for your Omgate unit.
6. Using the ‘Settings’ menu, you can add other Omgate Users, via the “Manage
who can access this gate” option. You are the first registered User of the
Omgate unit, and therefore the Administrator or ‘Gatekeeper’, but you can also
assign other users to be Gatekeepers. There must always be at least One
Gatekeeper. The last Gatekeeper cannot delete him or herself.
7. You can also add further Omgate units to your Smart Phone App by clicking on
the add “+” button, on the Home screen, whilst within Bluetooth range of the
new unit. The Omgate App will search for Omgates within range and show
their Serial Number when found.
WARRANTY
The OmGate unit is covered by a 24 month limited warranty against manufacturing
defects. The manufacturer will replace or repair (at its option) this product if proven
to be faulty (excluding misuse or accidental or malicious damage) within the first 24
months from the date of purchase. The terms of this warranty are set out in more
detail in manufacturers or distributor’s Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Secure Bluetooth Access via Smart Phone
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INTRODUCTION
The OmGate provides an easy and secure method of remote opening gates and
doors directly from your smart phone via a bluetooth connection.
The smart phone app lets you know when you are approaching the OmGate and a
simple tap of the button on screen opens the door or gate.
The application also works during phone calls and while using GPS applications.
The system allows for an administrator of the gate (Gate Keeper) who can
subsequently provide access to other users. Gate access is provided to users from
within the application, the user receives an invite and access through an SMS.
Users can be added or removed from the gate with ease and simplicity from within
the application. Extra Gate Keepers can also be added.
Up to 20 different OmGates can be managed from a single phone.
