DAILY OPERATION WITH BANG & OLUFSEN REMOTES
Go to ”Older Bang & Olufsen Remotes” if Ois not a key on your remote.

GET STARTED –QUICK GUIDE
This User Manual is intended for the daily use of the tuner. See the Installation Manual for
installation.
Advanced OneRemote circuitry has been added to this tuner, OneRemote DabWiFI7, enabling it to
be part of a remotely controlled Bang & Olufsen system. Complete control is obtained with a Bang
& Olufsen remote control terminal.
•DabWiFI7 is a beo-compatible tuner.
•DabWiFI7 may be controlled by any Bang & Olufsen system remote terminal from 1988
and on.
•DabWiFI7 may be also controlled via the free app UNDOK in iPhones, iPods, iPads or in
Android phones and tablets. Using UNDOK the DabWiFI7 can be controlled from all over
the house.
DabWiFI7 may be connected to any
Bang & Olufsen system and controlled
directly by Bang & Olufsen remotes.
When switching on the DabWiFI7 with a
Bang & Olufsen remote the Bang & Olufsen
system is switched on too and the input with
the DabWiFI7 automatically selected.
If the DabWiFI7 is to be used only for
handling DAB+, FM channels or music via
Bluetooth, no further installation is required.
DabWiFI7 is connected to the system input
that is selected by pressing AMEM or ATAPE
on the Bang & Olufsen remote.
If the Bang & Olufsen system has no AMEM or ATAPE operated input available, the DabWiFI7
needs to be connected to a different input socket and reprogramming of the DabWiFI7 is
required accordingly. See the Installation Manual.
•Bang & Olufsen link-systems do not only allow for listening to system sources from the
main room from any connected link room, but also for controlling them remotely. Thus,
a link connected kitchen speaker plays music from the main room. DabWiFI7 may be
part of that system, controlled via WiFi. See the Installation Manual.

PRESETS - FAVORITE CHANNELS
Enter favorite channels as presets selectable by pressing single digits on a Bang & Olufsen remote.
A total of 30 presets are available for FM, DAB+ and Internet Radio each. Presets may be changed
at any time by pressing a single key on the Bang & Olufsen remote.

INTERNET RADIO CHANNELS

•Press Qrepeatedly until Internetradio is shown in the display.
PRESETS
•To select a preset Internet Radio channel, simply press a digit 0–9.
•Press Rto get to the presets 11 to 30.
•Press Wto get a list of the preset channels.
The selected preset number and the quality of the WiFi signal are displayed at the very bottom of
the display.
SELECTING A NON-PRESET INTERNET RADIO STATION.
From the play screen, PressDor Fto access the Radio Search menu. Here the channels
are sorted in subcategories for easier location.
In these listings the E(BACK) must be used to go back to the previous screen. For ease
theSmay be used to select an item in the list, but theE must be used to back out. Just
asEworks in all menus.

•To select a preset FM program, simply press a digit 0–9.
•Press Rto get to the presets 11 to 30.
•Press Wto get a list of the preset channels.
The preset number and the signal quality are displayed at the very bottom of the display.

BLUETOOTH
Selecting the Bluetooth mode makes it possible to play music from any paired smartphone, tablet
or other device, via the DabWiFI7 and the Bang & Olufsen system. *1
•Press yor bTo power on DabWiFi7 and the B&O radio. *2
•Press Qrepeatedly until Bluetooth is shown in the display.
In the Bluetooth mode all control of the music is handled directly on the transmitting smartphone,
tablet or any other Bluetooth connected device.
Playback status and the signal quality are displayed at the very bottom of the display.

*1 PAIRING A BLUETOOTH DEVICE TO DABWIFI7
For a smartphone, tablet or any other bluetooth device to be able to send music to the DabWiFI7, it
must be paired with DabWiFI7. Pairing is only needed initially, as DabWiFI7 will remember the
bluetooth device.
To pair a bluetooth transmitter with DabWiFI7:
1. Select the bluetooth mode, as described above.
2. Go to the Setup Menu on the transmitting device and look for the bluetooth menu.
3. Shortly after selecting bluetooth, the DabWiFI7 will show up in the menu as DIGITRADIO 10
IR. Select this and music played on the device can be listened to via the Bang & Olufsen
system.

PODCASTS
•Press yor bTo power on DabWiFi7 and the B&O radio. *1
•Press Qrepeatedly until Podcast is shown in the display.
The selected preset number and the WiFi signal quality are displayed at the very bottom of the
display. A Podcast preset is saved in the Internet Radio preset list.
