GET STARTED –QUICK GUIDE
This OneRemote Radio PL7 receiver has been equipped with advanced OneRemote circuitry
enabling it to be controlled with a Bang & Olufsen remote control terminal. The redesigned
receiver is called OneRemote Radio PL7.
•Radio PL7 may be controlled with any Bang & Olufsen
remote control terminal from 1988 or later.
•Radio PL7 can also be controlled via iPhones, iPods, iPads
and Android telephones and tablets using the UNDOK app.
Connect Radio PL7 directly to a set of Bang & Olufsen BeoLab speakers, and Radio PL7 may be
controlled immediately with a Bang and Olufsen remote. No further installation is needed.
Reception of Internet Radio or other streaming services require the Radio PL7
to be connected to Internet via a WiFi network. See the Installation Guide.
Even though the Radio PL7 may be fully controlled with a Bang & Olufsen
remote DO NOT miss trying the FREE smart phone app UNDOK.
Create a free account with Frontier and edit playlists online from a PC. Any
change may be viewed immediately on all Radio PL7 units attached to the account.

PRESETS - FAVORITE CHANNELS
Add favorite stations to be quickly selected by pressing a single digit on the Bang & Olufsen
remote.
30 each FM, 30 each DAB+ and 30 each Internet Radio or Podcasts stations may be added as
favorite presets.
Presets may be set/ overwritten at any time by pressing OWon the Bang & Olufsen
remote.
Setting presets is easier using UNDOK on a smartphone. Especially when setting up more than a
few.

INTERNET RADIO RECEPTION
If the Radio PL7 is off, then turn it on with u.
It will start playing the source most recently played.
Switch to Internet radio by repeatedly pressingQ
PRESETS
•To select a preset Internet Radio channel, simply press a digit 0–9.
•Press Rto get to the presets 11 to 30.
•Press Wto get a list of the preset channels.
The selected preset number and the quality of the WiFi signal are displayed at the very bottom of the display.
SELECTING A NON-PRESET INTERNET RADIO STATION.
From the play screen, PressDor Fto access the Radio Search menu.
Here thousands of channels are sorted in subcategories for easier location.
In these listings the E(BACK) must be used to go back to the previous screen.
For ease theSmay be used to select an item in the list, but theEmust be used to back
out. Just asEworks in all menus.

DAB RECEPTION

DAB PRESETS

BLUETOOTH RECEPTION
If the Radio PL7 is off, then turn it on with u.
It will start playing the source most recently played.
Switch to Bluetooth by repeatedly pressingQ
In the Bluetooth mode all control of the music is handled directly on the transmitting smartphone,
tablet or any other Bluetooth connected device.
Playback status and the signal quality are displayed at the very bottom of the display.

*1 PAIRING A BLUETOOTH DEVICE TO RADIO PL7
For a smartphone, tablet, or any other Bluetooth device to be able to send music to the Radio PL7,
it must be paired with Radio PL7. Pairing is only needed initially, as Radio PL7 will remember the
Bluetooth device.
To pair a Bluetooth transmitter with Radio PL7:
1. Select the Bluetooth mode, as described above.
2. Go to the Setup Menu on the transmitting device and look for the Bluetooth menu.
3. Shortly after selecting Bluetooth, the Radio PL7 will show up in the menu as ‘DIGITRADIO
10 IR’. Select this and music played on the device can be listened to via PL7.

PODCASTS

SPOTIFY CONNECT RECEPTION
Start Spotify on a smart phone, iPhone, iPad, MAC, or PC as usual when using Spotify.
Press the logo and select from the list the Radio PL7 you want to send the music to. If the
name of the PL7 has not been changed, it shows up as ‘Digitradio 10 IR’.
Spotify is a streaming music service with almost all kinds of music that might
be listened to via a PC, tablet, or cell phone.
When selecting music, it may be directed to one or all Radio PL7 units in the
home, no matter how the music was selected on a PC, tablet, or cell phone.
When selecting Spotify music via the smart phone this particular phone may
still be used for phone calls simultaneously or even turned off completely.
The music still plays via the Radio PL7.
It is the ordinary Spotify app that is used for Radio PL7 streaming, not a
special issue.

LISTEN TO MUSIC VIA SPOTIFY
Connect the Spotify control device, smart phone, tablet, PC or another
device, to the same LAN as the OneRemote Radio PL7.
Start the Spotify app and select ‘Devices Available’and decide where to play
the music.
The picture to the right shows a selectable OneRemote Radio PL7 named
Kitchen.
SPOTIFY AUTOMATIC LOGON
If the OneRemote Radio PL7 is playing Internet Radio, Spotify or
Music Player, the Spotify app may interrupt and play music.
