M20x Camera Control with Cross-line, Zoom Display and 2 Save/Recall

Overview
This optional software enables M20x EasyView and Freesight cameras
to display zoom factor, Cross line and to save/recall 2 presets, A and B.
Three display modes are supported:
1. Zoom Display:
The zoom factor is displayed on up-right corner and current preset
is displayed on down right corner. 2 presets can be saved and
recalled.
2. Zoom Display and Cross Line.
A cross line is displayed on the center of the screen. The zoom
factor is displayed on up-right corner and current preset is
displayed on down right corner. 2 presets can be saved and
recalled.
3. Standard.
Display is off. Control box will function as standard. Save/recall
function is not available in this mode.

Connections
a) Connect the camera to Y/Pb/Pr component video inputs of a HD
Monitor or HD Frame Grabber.
b) Attach the Foot Switch to external foot switch input of the control unit
(optional)
c) Connect the Power supply to 12/5 V DC-input of the camera.
After connecting the power supply the LEDs will start to flash on the
control unit and start the camera. Preset A will be recall on powe up.
Functions
Power on/off:
a. Power off: Hold the Power on/off button for two seconds and release.
All LEDs on the control unit turns off. Camera will be switched off and
the current configuration will be saved.
b. Power on: Hold the Power on/off button for two second and release.
LEDs will start to flash on the control unit and will load the last saved
configuration and start the camera.
Changing display mode: Press and hold the Freeze button for 2
seconds until the display changes.

Saving preset A: Press and hold the Freeze and –button together for
5 seconds until the LEDs are flashed and release. Ais displayed on
down-right corner on-screen.
Saving preset B: Press and hold the Freeze and + button together for
5 seconds until the LEDs are flashed and release. B is displayed on
down-right corner on-screen.
Recalling/Toggle Presets: Press Freeze button to toggle between the
presets Aand B. If the current setting of the camera is not a preset,
pressing Freeze button will recall the last used preset.
Note: When the camera has a different setting from the saved preset.
On-screen preset display A or B is removed.
Note: Save/Recall functions is only available if the display mode set to
Zoom Display or Zoom Display Cross line.
Select: Selects Zoom, Brightness and Focus functions.
+ / - :Increase/Decrease value of the selected function.
Brightness: When Brightness is selected, brightness of the picture
can be adjusted by + / - buttons
Zoom: When Zoom is selected, zoom level can be adjusted by + / -
buttons.
a. Zoom Display / Cross Line mode: Press shortly for 0.1x increments.
Press and hold for 1x increments.
b. Standard mode: Zoom can be adjusted freely.
Focus/Auto: Switches between automatic focus and manual focus
control modes.
a. When Auto is activated, camera will adjust the focus automatically.
Indication led will light constantly
b. When manual Focus is selected, image focus is adjusted manually by
+/-controls. Indication led will blink periodically.

Note: Image brightness needs to be set to sufficient level for smooth
Auto Focus function.
Note: Working distance of the camera shall be set right. Camera cannot
focus on the object if working distance is out of the specified range.
Freeze: Freezes the live video. Indication LED lights when image is
freeze. Pressing any button will reset the image to live. (Only in Standard
Mode)
Foot Switch: Optional foot switch allows user to increase/decrease the
selected function for hands free operation.
