Thiscontrolleristwoaxesstagecontrollerfeaturingsteppingmotordrivers.
WhentheGSC-02isconnectedtoanordinary personalcomputerviaanRS232C interface,the
stagecanbeaccuratelymovedtothedesiredpositionbysimplecommandssentfromthePC.
3.TheGSC-02System
Notethatapplicablecablesanddrivecurrentvaluesaredependingon the
specificationsofstagesused.Checkifyourcontrollercanadequatelycontroldesired
devicesbeforeformingasystem.
YoucannotconnectSJT-02/SCT-602and PC to aGSC-02controlleratthesame
time.Ifyouconnecttheminparallel,GSC-02,SJT-02/SCT-602,and/orPCmaybe
damaged.

First,connectGSC-02tothemotorizedstages.
①Pleaseconfirmthepowersourceisturningoff.

Connectastandardcable(D15RP-CA/D15D15A-CA)totheconnectorofthemotorizedstage.
③Connect the stagetobecontrolledasthefirstaxis to the STAGE1 connectoroftheGSC-02
controller.AlsoconnectthestagecontrolledasthesecondaxistotheSTAGE2connector.

inchscrewthreads.
③Insert the maleconnectorofcommunicationscable in to the RS232CconnectorontheGSC-
02.InsertthefemaleendintotheserialportonyourPC.

InitializeyourGSC-02tomatchtothetargetstagesandhostenvironment(yourPC,etc).The
initializationincludesDIPSwitchsettings and current adjustments (RUN/STOP)foreachaxis
motor.
