Before starting, turn the device upside down
and flip the retractable half of the bottom of
the device back completely until the bottom
looks like a half-moon (see photo on right).
Maskerade should be operated on a dry,
clean, fast and firm surface. Place the mask
tray in the correct position as shown in the
photo. In the correct position, the two
rectangular grooves near the edges of the
mask tray hook into the device and the
base stand of the device rests on top of the
mouth-shaped area of the mask tray.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Maskerade Duet may be used only with liquid forms of fruits or vegetables,
juices, viscous liquids such as yogurt or honey, and numerous other liquid ingredients. DO NOT use any
solid ingredients to make masks with the Maskerade Duet.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When in the MASK mode, please be careful not to click on the Steam-mode
button on the machine. If you click the STEAM button by error, immediately disconnect the power
by removing the power cord from the device and repeat the process correctly.

RECOMMENDED REGIMEN: If you would like to do both a facial mask and facial steaming, you
should first make the mask even if you would like to first steam your face before applying a mask
to your face. This is because the high temperature of the device is harmful to the mask-making
process and the mask will not form properly if the machine is hot. For this reason, it is
recommended to make the mask first which can then be set aside for 1-2 hours before using it
(it's recommended to refrigerate the mask and leave it in the mask tray until you use it). Once
you have made the mask, you can do the facial steaming treatment on your face first as it will help
open the pores and improve the absorption of the mask ingredients. After the facial steaming,
you can apply the mask on your face.

Connect the power cord to the device socket and plug into the wall, after which the device will
automatically turn on.

ingredients (juice, milk, wine, yogurt, etc.)
in the measuring cup. Then, add 70 ml of
water (use distilled or mineral water and
not tap water to avoid clogging of the
device due to impurities).

Add 1 tablet of the Bioactive Collagen
Peptide into the liquid compartment and
then put back the cover on the device
and twist it a quarter-turn to the right
(clockwise) until the cover locks into
place and cannot
be removed.

Press the Mask-mode button to begin the
mask-making process. The light indicator
for the Mask-mode button will flash and
you will hear a beeping sound. After a few
seconds, the light indicator on the Mask-
mode button will turn solid.

Open the top cover of the device by
twisting the cover a quarter turn to the left
(counter-clockwise) until it cannot turn and
then lift off the cover. Pour the prepared
liquid ingredients into the liquid
compartment of the device.

It takes approximately 6 minutes to complete the mask-making process. The liquid mask will
pour out into the mask tray at the completion of the process. Once the liquid is in the mask tray,
please do not move the tray for a few minutes to enable the mask liquid to even out, cool down,
and allow the gelification of the mask to complete and turn the mask to gel.

After the mask has cooled for a few minutes and is ready for use, you can apply it immediately or
set it aside for 1-2 hours before using it (it's recommended to refrigerate the mask and leave it in
the mask tray until you use it).

If you would like to make another mask, do not make one immediately after having already made a
mask just now as you should allow the device to cool down first before making another mask. You
can either let the device cool down on its own for at least 20-30 minutes, or put cold water in the
liquid tank (while device is off) to speed up the cool down process. The reason for needing to wait
between each mask-making session is because the high temperature of the device is harmful to
the mask-making process and the mask will not form properly if the machine is hot.

on a dry, firm, and flat surface.

Please prepare 90 ml of water (use distilled or mineral
water and not tap water to avoid clogging of the device
due to impurities) in the measuring cup. The, open the
top cover of the device by twisting the cover a quarter
turn to the left (counter-clockwise) until it cannot turn
and then lift off the cover. Pour the water into the liquid
compartment of the device.
FACIAL STEAMING INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT NOTE: When doing a facial steaming
treatment, please do not get your face too close to the
steam as your face should be at least 5-7 inches away
from the device. Following the treatment, do not open
the device cover as you should allow the device to first
cool down.
Put back the cover on the device and twist it a quarter-
turn to the right (clockwise) until the cover locks into
place and cannot be removed. Then, press the Steam-
mode button to begin the steaming treatment. The
light indicator for the Steam-mode button will flash
and you will hear a beeping sound. After a few
seconds, the light indicator on the Steam-mode button
will turn solid.

It takes approximately 3 minutes for the steam
treatment to start and the steam will initially come out
slowly and then gradually strengthen. The treatment
will last approximately 5 minutes.
The Maskerade Duet has an automated self-cleaning process. Before you start the self-cleaning, be
sure to set the mask tray under the machine so that the water that flows out of the machine during
the cleaning will collect in the mask tray. First, pour 100 ml of water into the liquid compartment of
the device. After closing the cover, turn the device on and press down on the Mask-mode button
continuously for 5 seconds to initiate the self-cleaning process. The light indicators for both the
Mask and Steam-modes will flash at the same time when the self-cleaning process starts. After a few
minutes, water will drain out to the mask tray through the drainage outlet and the self-cleaning
process will be complete.
You can use the cleaning brush that is provided with the Maskerade Duet to clean off stubborn
residue that was left after the cleaning machine. Additionally, you can clean the outer surface of the
device by using a damp washcloth and gently wiping the device’s surface.

The electric power supply of the
Maskerade device is 110V. Before
connecting to the power, please make
sure that the device voltage conforms
to the local voltage.
When cleaning the device,
please do not wash, soak, or
submerge the device
directly in water.
During the mask-making process,
make sure that the mask tray is
connected to the device and there is
no gap between them. The
two rectangular grooves
near the edges of the
mask tray should
hook into the device.
Before cleaning and maintaining
the device, or disassembling any parts
of the device, or when not using the
device, please unplug the device
power from the electrical outlet.
When doing a facial steaming
treatment, please do not get your

Before you start
Before making any of the Mask recipes in this booklet,
please refer to the User Manual for specific instructions
on creating a mask with the device. The Maskerade
Duet may be used only with liquid forms of fruits or
vegetables, juices, viscous liquids such as yogurt or
honey, and numerous other liquid ingredients.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT use any solid ingredients
to make masks with the Maskerade Duet.

INGREDIENTS

Please prepare 15 ml of pure orange juice
along with 10ml of plain greek yogurt
in the measuring cup.
Then, add 70 ml of water (use distilled or
mineral water and not tap water to avoid
clogging of the device due to impurities) and
mix all the ingredients thoroughly before
pouring the mixture into the liquid
compartment of the device.
Add 1 tablet of the Bioactive Collagen Peptide
into the liquid compartment and then put back
the cover on the device and twist it a quarter-
turn to the right(clockwise) until the cover
locks into place and cannot be removed.
Press the Mask-mode button to begin the
mask-making process, which should take
approximately 6 minutes.
BOOST: For added benefits, add in a few
drops of your favorite skincare serum in your

Tomato is good for mature skin. As a component
in homemade face masks it can help prevent acne,

Tomatoes contain a large amount of essential nutrients

Vitamins B1, B2, E, C, and Folic Acid are also found in
tomatoes. Tomatoes also contain numerous macro and

Contraindications in Using Tomato Face Mask: Tomato masks
can cause skin irritation in some people. As a result, before you
apply the mask on your face, it is recommended to run a
sensitivity test on your skin. To do this, apply a small amount of
the liquid mixture of your tomato mask on the wrist area or
elbow bend and let it stay on your skin for 10 minutes. Rinse well
and look at the condition of the treated skin. If you have no
reaction, you can use a tomato-based mask. If you notice strong
redness, spots, or if you experience itching, it is better not to use
a tomato-based mask.
