ASPECTOSGENERALES
Cocciónconinducción
Cuandose cocinacon inducción se produceprimero un calor por mediodelasfuerzasmagnéticas
al colocarunacazuelaoun sartén con fondomagnetizablesobre lazonadecocción conectada.
Duranteestosólose calientael fondodelabateríadecocina,pero no lazonadecocción. Debajode
laplacadevitrocerámicase encuentralabobinadeinducción.
Tanprontose alimentelamismacon corrienteseproduceun campo magnéticoque generaun
remolino en el fondodelacazuelaodel sartén.Deestaformase consigue calentarel fondo. Esto
ahorraenergía,porqueel calor sólose producedonderealmentese necesita.
¿Qué tipodebateríadecocina sepuedeemplear?
Paralasplacasdecocción por inducción se requieren cazuelasyfondos decazueladeun material
magnetizable. Lasbateríasdecocinase proveen hoyen díacon laindicación que se apropianpara
lacocinadeinducción.
Deprincipiose pueden empleartodaslasbateríasdecocinaferruginosas. Si estasson
magnetizables se puedecomprobarcon un cortoexperimento:
Coloque lacazuelacorrespondientesobre laplacadecocción. Si después delaconexión apareceen
lapantalla"E0"yse oyerepetidasveces unaseñalacústica,laollano es laapropiada.
Los siguientes materiales nosepueden emplear como baterías decocina paralacocciónpor

Cookingwith inductiontechnology
When cooking withinduction technology,heat isonlygenerated bymeansofmagneticpower, ifa
pot or panwithamagnetisablebase isplaced on aswitched-on cooking zone.
The induction cooker heatsonlythe base ofthe cooking utensilsused,notthe cooking zone itself.
Under the glass-ceramicssurface, the induction coil islocated.Ifthe coil issupplied withelectrical
power amagneticfield develops generating whirlsinthe pot’s base.
Thisresultsinthe heating ofthe base material.The induction process saves energyasheat issolely
produced where it isneeded.
Whatcookingutensils may Iuse?
Induction cookers requirepots, i.e., pot bases madeofmagnetisablematerial.Today,cooking
utensilsappropriatefor induction cooking usuallybearanotesaying 'Suitablefor induction hob’ or
similar.
But principallyyou mayuse anyiron-based cooking utensils; tofind out whether apot or panis
suitable, i.e., magnetisablejust trythe following.
Cookingutensils madeof thefollowingmaterials arenotsuitableforinductionhobs:
Clay,glass or aluminium.
Donotusethefollowingtypes of pots:

OPERATING TIME
Dooperatethe deviceonlyfor amaximum of4hours continuously.Then interrupt the operation for
at least 30 minutes, otherwise you risksomedamages byoverload.

The hob cantakeup anoverall load of2.000W. Because ofthishighconnected load it is
recommended touse aseparateconnection protected over a15A safetyswitch.
