Congratulations on your selection of the Baby Monitor
(BB122/ BBR122). This baby monitor includes the
following conveniences:

¥ Lost-link alarm
Keep this manual handy as you use your new product. It
contains practical step-by-step instructions, as well as
technical specifications and warnings you should know.

used as a replacement for responsible adult supervision.
It only acts as a support for your child-caring purpose.

¥ Please ensure the baby unit and the adaptor cable are
always out of reach of your child and at least 1
meter away.
¥ Never place the Baby unit inside the baby crib or near
water (e.g., bathtub, wet basement, etc.)

GETTING STARTED
POWER
The AC power adaptor and rechargeable battery pack for
the Parent Unit and AC power adaptor for the Baby Unit
are supplied with this product. Recharge the battery pack
whenever the battery capacity levels is low.
Baby Unit
Connect the 5V AC adaptor to an AC mains socket and
then connect the cord to the DC power supply socket of
the Baby Unit. The display and LED indicator will light up
when power is on. The selected channel no. will be
shown on the display.
Parent Unit
The Parent Unit uses a rechargeable battery pack. First,
open the battery cover at the back and connect the
battery pack to the connector inside the battery
compartment. Put the battery pack inside and close the
battery cover.
Then, connect the 9V AC adaptor to an AC main socket
and then connect the cord to the DC power supply socket
of the Parent Unit. The unit will begin charging and the
charging indicator will be displayed, otherwise reset the
parent unit.

At first-time use, please full-charge the battery for 12 hours, and
then reset the parent unit before starting up. When the battery
is fully charged, it can be used cordlessly for up to 8 hours.
TURN ON/OFF THE PARENT UNIT
¥To turn on press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
¥To turn off press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
SETUP
Power up the Baby unit first and then the Parent Unit.
When first used, both units are already preset with same
channel (e.g., CH. 1).
Position the Baby Unit using either the recess hole on
the back or the table-stand. For best results:
¥Place the units away from electrical or mechanical
objects.
¥Place the units out of direct sunlight and moisture.
¥Do not place the Baby unit more than 200 meters (656
feet) from the Parent Unit.
¥Minimize obstructions such as doors, walls, and furniture
since this will decrease the transmission range between
the 2 units.
You may need to experiment with various locations to get
the best reception.
SELECT CHANNELS
You can change the channel if there is interference or
problem with linking the 2 units.
Baby Unit
Press and hold CHANNEL for 2 seconds. Use UP to
change the channel number from 1 to 10. Press CHANNEL
again or wait for 10 seconds to confirm.
Parent Unit
Press and hold CHANNEL for 2 seconds. Use UP/
DOWN to change to the same channel number as the
Baby unit s. Press CHANNEL again or wait for 10
seconds to confirm.
CHANGE VOLUME
Use UP/ DOWN on the Parent unit to change the volume.
There are 4 volume levels.
SOUND LIGHT INDICATORS
The sound light indicators can alert you visually to baby s
sound even when the volume is turned down. The louder the
sound received from the baby unit, more lights will be on.
RECEPTION SIGNALS
You can see if the status of the reception strength through
the reception strength tower icons.

LOST LINK ALARM
When the Parent Unit cannot receive data from the Baby
unit (due to interference or out-of-range distance), lost
link alarm will be on. The reception strength tower will be
blinking and alarm sound will go off for 2 minutes. Re-
position the units. The alarm sound will stop automatically
once signal is received again or you can press any key to
stop the alarm sound.
If signal cannot be received after the 2-minute alarm, the
tower icon will continue to flash.
KEY LOCK
This function is used to prevent accidental key-press on
the Parent Unit. Press and hold CHANNEL and TEMP
together for 3 seconds to activate/ deactivate the key-
lock function.
TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY
The baby unit can measure the surrounding temperature
and relative humidity. The measured data can then be
transmitted to and displayed on the Parent Unit.
Temperature is shown on the 2nd line and the humidity is
shown on the 3rd line.
ºC/ ºF UNIT
Press the …C/ …F button inside the battery compartment of
the Parent unit to change the temperature display unit in
degree Celsius or Fahrenheit.
COMFORT INDICATOR
By calculating both the temperature and humidity together
a baby-face comfort indicator will be shown so that you
will know if your baby feels comfortable, hot or cold in the
room.

HI AND LOW TEMPERATURE ALARM
With this function you can be alerted when the temperature
becomes too hot or too cold for your child.
Press TEMP to scroll through the following display modes:
¥Current Temperature
¥Hi-Temperature Alarm
¥Low-Temperature Alarm
To set the alarm, press and hold TEMP for 2 seconds and
the value will be flashing. Use UP or DOWN to change
the value. Press TEMP to confirm. The alarm will be
activated automatically.
When the measured temperature goes above the High
Temperature Alarm setting or below the Low Temperature
Alarm setting, a 2-minute alarm sound will be given out.
Press any key to stop the alarm sound.
RESET
The RESET button is located in the battery compartment.
Press it with the tip of a blunt object (such as a ball point
pen) whenever you change the batteries, or whenever
performance is not behaving as expected (e.g., unable to
establish link with remote unit). This will return all settings
to default value, and you will lose all stored information.
SAFETY AND CARE
Wash the unit with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent.
Avoid dropping the unit or placing it in a high-traffic
location.
WARNINGS
This product is designed to give you years of service if
handled properly. Observe the following guidelines:
¥Never immerse the unit in water. This can cause
electrical shock and damage the unit.
¥Do not subject the units to extreme force, shock, or
fluctuations in temperature or humidity.
¥Do not tamper with the internal components.
¥Remove the batteries if storing this product for a long
period of time.
¥Do not scratch the LCD display.
¥Do not make any changes or modifications to this
product. Unauthorized changes may void your right to
use the product.
¥The contents of this user guide are subject to change
