GETTING STARTED
BATTERIES
Insert batteries before first use, matching the polarity (+ and
-). Press RESET after each battery change.
indicates that the batteries are low.
NOTE Do not use rechargeable batteries. We recommended
that you use alkaline batteries with this product for longer
usage and consumer grade lithium batteries in temperatures
below freezing.
WALL MOUNT
Remove the stand at attach as shown.

REMOTE SENSOR
The sensor collects temperature readings approx. every 40
seconds and sends them to the main unit. The main unit can
collect data from up to 3 sensors.
To set up the sensor:
1. Remove the battery door.
2. Insert the batteries, matching the polarity (+ / -).
Reset after each battery change.
3. Select a channel. Make sure you use a different
channel for each sensor.
4. Close the battery compartment.
5. Place the sensor next to the main unit.
6. Initiate a sensor search on the main unit to start receiving
temperature data from the sensor.
7. Secure the sensor in the desired location using the
table stand or wall mount.

The transmission range may vary depending on many
factors. You may need to experiment with various locations
to get the best results.
Standard Alkaline batteries contain significant amounts of
water. Because of this they will freeze in low temperatures
of approximately -12°C (10°F). Consumer grade lithium
batteries have a much lower threshold for temperature with
an estimated freezing range of below -30°C (-22°F).
Wireless ranges can be impacted by a variety of factors
such as extremely cold temperatures. Extreme cold may
temporarily reduce the effective range between the sensor
and the base station. If the unit’s performance fails due to
low temperature, the unit will resume proper functioning
as the temperature rises to within the normal temperature
range (i.e. no permanent damage will occur to the unit due
to low temperatures).

NOTE If the sensor is still not found, check the batteries,
obstructions, and remote unit location.
CLOCK
CLOCK RECEPTION
This product is designed to synchronize its calendar clock
automatically once it is brought within range of a radio
signal:
• DCF-77 generated from Frankfurt, Germany for Central
Europe.
The clock collects the radio signals whenever it is within
1500 km (932 miles) of a signal.

RECEPTION SIGNAL
To enable and force a signal search:
Press and hold for 2 seconds.
To disable the signal reception:
Press and hold for 2 seconds.

If the clock signal reception is enabled and a signal is being
received the clock does not need to be manually set..
1. Press and hold MODE for 2 seconds.
2. Press or to change the settings.
3. Press MODE to confirm.
4. The settings order is: time zone offset, 12/24 hr format,
hour, minute, year, day/month format, month, day and
language.
NOTE The time zone offset can be used to set the clock
up to + / - 23 hours from the received clock signal time. If
you have disabled the clock signal reception (i.e. manually
setting the clock), do not set a value for time zone offset.
NOTE The language options are English (E), German (D),
French (F), Italian (I), and Spanish (S).
Press MODE to choose between the following display
modes:
• Clock with seconds.
• Clock with weekday.
• Clock with calendar.
• Clock with time zone offset.
ALARM
To set the alarm:
1. Press to enter alarm mode.
2. Press and hold for 2 seconds.
3. Press / to set hour / minute.
4. Press to confirm. indicates alarm is ON.
To activate / deactivate the alarm:
1. Press to display alarm time.
2. Press again to turn alarm ON / OFF.
To silence the alarm:
• Press SNOOZE to silence it for 8 minutes
OR
• Press any key except SNOOZE to turn the alarm off
and activate it again after 24 hours.

BAROMETER
Barometer readings from the past 24 hours are stored by the
main unit and used to provide weather forecast.
To select barometer measurement unit:
Press PRESSURE to toggle between mb and inHg.
SET ALTITUDE
To ensure barometric readings are reliable set the altitude to
reflect distance from sea level at your position.
1. Press and hold PRESSURE for 2 seconds.
2. Use and to set the altitude in 10 M (33 ft)
increments from -100 m (-328 ft) to 2500 m (8202 ft).
3. Press PRESSURE to confirm.
NOTE The maximum operating altitude for the barometer
and weather forecast is 2500m (8202 ft).
WEATHER FORECAST
This product forecasts the next 12 to 24 hours of weather
within a 30-50 km (19-31 mile) radius based on barometric
pressure trend readings.

The sensor reception icon indicates the temperature data
displayed:
• for indoor temperature
• for outdoor temperature (number indicates the
sensor channel displayed)

outdoor humidity sensor (sold separately) is selected.

Press °C / °F.
To auto-scan between sensors:
Press and hold CH for 2 seconds.
To end auto-scan:
Press CH.
To toggle between current, minimum and maximum
records for the selected sensor:
Press MEM repeatedly.
To clear the records:
Press and hold MEM for 2 seconds.

PRECAUTIONS
This product is engineered to give you years of satisfactory
service if you handle it carefully. Here are a few
precautions:
• Do not subject the unit to excessive force,
shock, dust, temperature or humidity, which may
result in malfunction, shorter electronic life span,
damaged battery and distorted parts.
• Do not immerse the unit in water. If you spill liquid over
it, dry it immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Do not clean the unit with abrasive or corrosivematerials.
• Do not tamper with the unit ’s internal components.
Doing so will invalidate the warranty on the unit and
may cause unnecessary damage. The unit contains no
user-serviceable parts.
• Only use fresh batteries as specified in the user’s
instructions. Do not mix new and old batteries.
• Due to printing limitations, the displays shown in this
manual may differ from the actual display.
• The contents of this manual may not be reproduced
without the permission of the manufacturer.
• Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal
waste.Collection of such waste separately for special
treatment is necessary.

OPERAZIONI PRELIMINARI
ALIMENTAZIONE
Prima del primo utilizzo, inserire le batterie rispettando la
polarità (+ e -). Premere RESET dopo ogni sostituzione
delle batterie
indica che le batterie sono in esaurimento.
NOTA Non utilizzare batterie ricaricabili. Per un uso
prolungato del prodotto, si consiglia di utilizzare batterie
alcaline, mentre in caso di temperature inferiori allo zero si
consiglia l’uso di batterie al litio

SENSORE REMOTO
Il sensore effettua rilevazioni di temperatura
approssimativamente ogni 40 secondi e le invia all’unità
principale. L’unità principale è in grado di ricevere dati da un
numero massimo di 3 sensori.

Per l’impostazione del sensore:
1. Far scorrere il coperchio del vano batterie fino ad
aprirlo.
2. Inserire le batterie, rispettando la polarità indicata
(+ / -). Eseguire un RESET dopo ogni sostituzione di
batteria.
3. Selezionare un canale. Assicurarsi di selezionare un
canale diverso per ciascun sensore.
4. Chiudere il vano batterie.
5. Per cominciare a ricevere i dati della temperatura
dal sensore, avviare la ricerca dello stesso sull’unità
principale.
6. Collocare il sensore nella posizione desiderata con
il supporto da tavolo o mediante il foro per fissaggio a
parete.
Per ottenere risultati migliori:
• Posizionare il sensore al riparo da luce solare diretta e
da umidità.
• Non posizionare il sensore a più di 30 metri (100 piedi)
dall’unità interna principale.
• Posizionare il sensore in modo che si trovi di fronte
all’unità interna principale, riducendo al minimo le
ostruzioni causate da porte, pareti e mobili.
• Posizionare il sensore con campo senza ostruzioni
verso il cielo, lontano da oggetti metallici o elettronici.
• Posizionare il sensore vicino all’unità principale
durante i mesi più freddi, dal momento che le
temperature inferiori allo zero possono influire sulle
prestazioni della batteria e sulla trasmissione del
segnale.
Il campo di trasmissione può variare in base a molti fattori. È
possibile che sia necessario provare diverse posizioni prima
di ottenere i risultati migliori.
Le batterie alcaline standard contengono un’alta percentuale
d’acqua, per questo motivo gelano alle basse temperature, a
circa -12°C (10°F). Le batterie monouso al litio hanno invece
una soglia molto inferiore, e gelano approssimativamente
sotto i -30°C (-22°F).
Quando si è in modalità senza fili, sul campo influiscono
diversi fattori, tra cui le temperature particolarmente rigide.
Il freddo intenso può ridurre temporaneamente il campo di
azione tra il sensore e la stazione base. Se le prestazioni
dell’unità sono scarse a causa delle basse temperature,
l’unità ricomincerà a funzionare correttamente a mano a
mano che la temperatura aumenta fino a rientrare nella

norma (quindi l’unità non subirà alcun danno permanente a
causa delle basse temperature).

L’orologio riceve un segnale radio quando si trova entro
1500 km (932 miglia) dallo stesso.

4. La sequenza delle impostazioni è: differenza di fuso
orario, ora, minuto, anno, mese, giorno e lingua.
NOTA Si può ricorrere alla differenza di fuso orario per
impostare l’orologio fino a + / - 23 ore rispetto all’ora del
segnale ricevuto. Nel caso in cui la ricezione del segnale sia
stata disattivata (es. impostando l’orologio manualmente),
non inserire alcun valore per la differenza di fuso orario.
NOTA Le opzioni della lingua sono (E) Inglese, (D)
Tedesco, (F) Francese, (I) Italiano e (S) Spagnolo.
Premere MODE per scegliere tra le seguenti modalità di
visualizzazione:
• Orologio con secondi.
• Orologio con giorno della settimana.
• Orologio con calendario.
• Orologio con differenza di fuso orario.
SVEGLIA
Per impostare la sveglia:
1. Premere per visualizzare l’ora della sveglia.
2. Tenere premuto per 2 secondi
3. Premere / per impostare ora / minuto
4. Premere per confermare. indica che
la sveglia è attiva.
Per attivare / disattivare la sveglia:
1. Premere per visualizzare l’ora della sveglia.
2. Premere nuovamente per attivare / disattivare la
sveglia.
Per arrestare la sveglia:
• Premere SNOOZE per arrestarla per 8 minuti
OPPURE
• Premere un tasto qualsiasi eccetto SNOOZE per spegnere
la sveglia e per attivarla nuovamente dopo 24 ore.
BAROMETRO
Le rilevazioni del barometro delle ultime 24 ore vengono
memorizzate dall’unità principale per fornire le previsioni
atmosferiche.
Per selezionare l’unità di misura del barometro:
Premere PRESSURE per alternare mb e inHg.
IMPOSTAZIONE DELL’ALTITUDINE
Per garantire rilevazioni barometriche precise, impostare
l’altitudine in modo che corrisponda all’altezza sul livello del
mare della propria ubicazione
1. Tenere premuto PRESSURE per 2 secondi.
2. Con e , impostare l’altitudine con incrementi di
10 m (33 piedi) da -100 m (-328 piedi) a 2500 m (8202
piedi).
3. Premere PRESSURE per confermare.
NOTA L’altitudine massima di funzionamento per il
barometro e le previsioni meteorologiche è di 2500 m (8202
piedi).

esterni:
Premere CH.
Per alternare l’unità di visualizzazione della temperatura:
Premere °C / °F.
Per attivare la ricerca automatica tra i sensori:
Tenere premuto CH per 2 secondi.
Per interrompere la ricerca automatica:
Premere CH.
Per alternare le rilevazioni attuale, minima e massima
del sensore selezionato:
Premere ripetutamente MEM.
Per cancellare le rilevazioni:
Tenere premuto MEM per 2 secondi.
