instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions
may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious
injury.

The term “Power tool” in all of the warnings
refers to your WL275 Portable Light.
1 SAFETY
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered
and dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools
create sparks which may ignite the dust or
fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while
operating a power tool. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
2 ELECTRICAL SAFETY
a) Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased
risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or
grounded.
b) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
3 PERSONAL SAFETY
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating a power
tool. Do not use a power tool while you are
tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol
or medication. A moment of inattention while
operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
b) Use safety equipment. Always wear eye
protection. Safety equipment such as dust
mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or
hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before
turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key
le attached to a rotating part of the power
tool may result in personal injury.
d) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance at all times. This enables better
control of the power tool in unexpected
situations.
e) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing
or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and
gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught
in moving parts.
f) If devices are provided for the connection
of dust extraction and collection facilities,
ensure these are connected and properly
used. Use of these devices can reduce dust-
related hazards.

for what it is intended.

warnings do not by themselves eliminate any danger, nor are they substitutes for proper accident
prevention measures.
SYMBOL : This Safety Alert Symbol indicates caution, warning, or danger. Failure to
obey a safety warning can result in serious injury to yourself or others. To reduce the

4 POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
power tool for your application. The correct
power tool will do the job better and safer at
the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch
does not turn it on and off. Any power tool
that cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Store idle power tools out of the reach of
children and do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the power tool or these instructions
to operate the power tool. Power tools are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
d) Maintain power tools. Check for
misalignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other condition
that may affect the power tools operation. If
damaged,have the power tool repaired before
use. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
e) Use the power tool, accessories and
tool bits etc., in accordance with these
instructions and in the manner intended for
the particular type of power tool, taking
into account the working conditions and the
work to be performed. Use of the power tool
for operations different from intended could
result in a hazardous situation.
5 BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
a) Recharge only with the charger specified by
the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable
for one type of battery may create a risk of fire
when used with another battery.
b) Use power tools only with specifically
designated battery. Use of any other battery
may create a risk of injury and fire.
c) When battery is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects, like paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal
objects, that can make a connection from one
terminal to another. Shorting the battery
terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be
ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact accidentally occurs, flush with water.
If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek
medical help. Liquid ejected form the battery
may cause irritation or burns.
6 SERVICE
a) Have your power tool serviced by a
qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.

1. Always charge batteries in chargers
recommended by the manufacturer. Chargers
designed for a specific type of battery may
pose a fire hazard when used together with
other battery types.
2. You must only insert the correct batteries
in the Portable Light. Using other batteries
may cause injuries and pose a fire hazard.
3. When not in use, keep batteries away from
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or
other small metal objects that could bridge
the contacts. Short circuits between battery
contacts can cause burns or fires.
4. Fluid may escape if batteries are used
inappropriately. Avoid all contact with this
fluid. In the event of accidental skin contact,
rinse the affected area thoroughly. If the fluid
enters your eyes, seek immediate medical
assistance. Escaping battery fluid can cause
skin irritation or burns.
5. Do not operate the Portable Light in
potentially explosive environments
containing flammable dust, fluids or gases
. The Portable Light can generate sparks
which may ignite dust or vapours.
6. Avoid accidental operation. Make sure
that the Portable Light is switched off
before connecting the battery and before
picking up or carrying the Portable Light.
Accidentally pressing the switch on the
device or connecting the device to the power
supply when already switched on can lead
to accidents.
7. Always switch off the Portable Light when
not in use.
8. Never use electrical devices with a defective
switch. Electrical devices that can no longer
be switched on or off are dangerous and
must be repaired immediately.
9. Remove the battery before adjusting,
cleaning and storing the device or changing
accessories. These precautionary measures
prevent accidental operation of the Portable
Light.
10. When not in use, keep the Portable Light
out of the reach of children. Do not allow
personnel to use the device unless they
are already familiar with it or have read
these instructions. Electrical devices are
dangerous when used by inexperienced
personnel.
11. Maintain the device carefully. Check that all
moving parts are functioning correctly and
do not seize, make sure that no parts are
broken or damaged to an extent where they
affect the function of the Portable Light.
Have damaged parts repaired before using
the device. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained electrical tools.
12. Do not operate the Portable Light without a
lens, or with a lens that is damaged.
13. Use the Portable Light, accessories, etc. as
described in these instructions. Take into
consideration the working conditions and
tasks required. Using electrical devices for
applications other than those intended can
lead to dangerous situations.
14. Keep your Portable Light away from heat
sources and fires. Do not store your Portable
Light in moist or wet ambient conditions. Do
not store in locations where temperatures
may reach or exceed 40˚C. Examples include
alcoves, motor vehicles or metal structures
during the summer.
15. Do not expose the Portable Light to rain,
excessively damp conditions, or complete
submersion.
16. Do not leave the Portable Light on while
unattended.
17. The Adapter (AC Power) is designed for
indoor use.
18. Never use an incomplete Portable Light, or
one on which an unauthorised modification
has been made. Do not switch on the
Portable Light if tool parts or guard devices
are missing or defective. Do not switch on
the Portable Light if the Adapter cord is
damaged.
19. Always ensure the Portable Light is steady
and properly secure before use.

USE AND OPERATION
CAUTION : Do not direct the light beam into the eyes of people or animals.
INSTALLING OR REMOVING
BATTERY
1. Hold the tool and the battery firmly when
installing or removing battery. Failure to hold
the tool and the battery may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury.
2. Always switch off the tool before installing
or removing of the battery.
3. To remove battery, press the release button
(A), and pull out.
4. To install battery, align rails in battery
cavity to rails on battery pack. Always insert
battery all the way until it locks in place with
a click.
If not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool,
causing injury to you or someone around
you. (Fig. 2B) NOTE: Do not use force when
installing the battery. If the cartridge does
not slide in easily, it is not being inserted
correctly.
PLUG IN ADAPTER
1. Remove the waterproof plug (A) found in the
AC Adapter socket. (Fig 3)
2. Ensure the Portable Light is turned ‘off’ and
then plug the adapter plug into the socket on
the Portable Light body.
3. If removing the adapter, the waterproof plug
(A) must be put back immediately, otherwise
dust, water etc will enter, and may become a
cause for malfunction.
TURNING THE PORTABLE LIGHT
ON OR OFF
1. Install a charged battery or connect the
adapter. If using adapter, ensure adapter is
properly connected to a mains outlet.
2. To turn ON, press the ON/OFF switch to either
HIGH or LOW. (Fig 4A & 4B)
3. To turn OFF, press the ON/OFF switch to
return to the center position. (Fig 4B)

ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
Angle of light
To adjust the angle of the light body, loosen
the Body Angle Adjustment Knob (A), hold the
Handle with one hand and adjust the light
body with the other hand. (Fig 5A)
Angle of frame
To adjust the angle of the light frame, loosen
the Frame Angle Adjustment Knob (B), hold the
Frame with one hand and adjust the Handle
with the other hand. (Fig 5B)
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF
SHOCK, do not charge the battery pack in
the rain.
BATTERY PACK LED CHARGELEVEL
INDICATOR
The lithium ion battery pack is equipped with an
LED charge-level indicator. To test the charge
level of the battery pack, press the indicator
button on the battery pack’s face (Fig. ).
No lights: recharge.
One steady green light:
less than  charged.
Charge battery pack before use.
Two steady green lights:
– charged.
Three steady green lights:
– charged.
Four steady green lights:
– charged.
CONNECTING THE CHARGER
If the charger includes a separate power cord,
connect the charger cord to the charger and to the
proper electrical outlet (Fig. ).
Only use the cord set that was supplied with the
charger. At first use, verify that the plug type
matches the receptacle.

CHARGER LED CHARGESTATE INDICATOR
The battery charger is equipped with an LED
charge-state indicator that indicates the
state of charging as well as conditions that
may delay or prevent charging (Fig. ).
Note: Until a battery pack is inserted, no lights
will be visible.
Blinking orange light: a fault condition
exists. There are several potential
causes. See “Troubleshooting” in this
manual.
Steady orange light: the battery pack
temperature is beyond the acceptable
range (°C/°F to °C/°F). Allow
the battery pack to reach the
acceptable temperature range before
charging. The pack may be left on the
charger as the temperature adjusts.
Charging will begin when the proper
temperature is reached.
Blinking green light: battery pack is
charging.
Steady green light: battery pack is
ready for use.
WARNING : Always be sure that the tool
is switched off and battery is removed
before attempting to perform inspection or
maintenance on the tool. Failure to switch off
and remove the battery may result in serious
personal injury from accidental start-up.

components using a moist, soft cloth. Do
not use strong solvents or detergents on

Blount, Inc. warrants all registered OREGON®
Cordless Tools, Battery Packs, and Chargers for
a period of two () years from original date of
purchase, and one () year if used for commercial
purposes. This limited warranty applies to the
OREGON® Cordless Tool System manufactured
products. During the warranty period, Blount will
replace or, at its option, repair for the original
purchaser only, free of charge, any product or
part which is found upon examination by Blount
to be defective in material and/or workmanship.
The purchaser shall be responsible for all
transportation charges and any cost of removing
any part submitted for replacement under this
warranty.

4 USO Y CUIDADO DE LA HERRAMIENTA
ELÉCTRICA
a) No fuerce la herramienta eléctrica. Utilice
la herramienta eléctrica correcta para su
aplicación. La herramienta eléctrica correcta
hará el trabajo mejor y de forma más segura a
la velocidad para la que se diseñó.
b) No utilice la herramienta eléctrica si el
interruptor no la enciende y apaga. Cualquier
herramienta eléctrica que no pueda ser
controlada con el interruptor es peligrosa y
debe ser reparada.
c) Almacene las herramientas eléctricas que
no se encuentren en uso fuera del alcance
de los niños y no permita que las operen
personas que no conozcan las herramientas
eléctricas ni estas instrucciones para operar
la herramienta eléctrica. Las herramientas
eléctricas son peligrosas en manos de
usuarios no capacitados.
d) Realice el mantenimiento de las
herramientas eléctricas. Verifique que las
piezas móviles no están mal alineadas ni
atascadas,quenohayapiezasrotasocualquier

5 USO Y CUIDADO DE LA HERRAMIENTA DE
BATERÍAS
a) Recargue únicamente con el cargador
especificado por el fabricante. Un cargador
adecuado para un tipo de batería puede
originar un riesgo de incendio cuando se usa
con otra batería.
b) Utilice las herramientas eléctricas
únicamente con la batería específicamente
designada. El uso de otras baterías puede
originar riesgos de lesiones e incendios.
c) Cuando no use la batería, manténgala
alejada de otros objetos de metal, como
sujetapapeles, monedas, llaves, clavos,
tornillos u otros objetos de metal pequeños,
que puedan establecer una conexión de un
terminal hasta otro. Un cortocircuito entre
los terminales de la batería puede provocar
quemaduras o un incendio.
d) En condiciones abusivas, es posible que
salga líquido de la batería; evite el contacto
con este líquido. Si se produce un contacto
de manera accidental, enjuague con agua.
Si el líquido entra en contacto con los ojos,
busque además asistencia médica. El líquido
que sale de la batería puede causar irritación
o quemaduras.
6 SERVICIO TÉCNICO
a) El servicio técnico de su herramienta
eléctrica lo debe realizar un técnico de
reparación cualificado que utilice solamente
piezas de repuesto idénticas. Esto
garantizará que se mantenga la seguridad de
la herramienta eléctrica.

1. Cargue siempre las baterías en cargadores
recomendados por el fabricante. Los
cargadores diseñados para un tipo de batería
específico pueden presentar un peligro de
incendio si utilizan con otros tipos de batería.
2. Inserte solo las baterías correctas en la
Luz Portátil. Si utiliza otras baterías puede
provocar lesiones o suponer un peligro de
incendio.
3. Cuando no utilice la batería, manténgala
alejada de sujetapapeles, monedas, llaves,
clavos, tornillos u otros objetos pequeños de
metal que puedan puentear los contactos.
Los cortocircuitos entre contactos de baterías
pueden provocar quemaduras o incendios.
4. Si las baterías no se utilizan adecuadamente,
puede escaparse líquido de las mismas. Evite
el contacto con este líquido. Si se produce un
contacto de manera accidental con la piel,
enjuague la zona afectada minuciosamente. Si
le entra líquido en los ojos, busque asistencia
médica inmediatamente. El líquido que sale de
la batería puede provocar irritación de la piel o
quemaduras.
5. No utilice la Luz Portátil en entornos
potencialmente explosivos que contengan
polvo, líquidos o gases inflamables. La Luz
Portátil puede producir chispas que pueden
prender el polvo o los vapores.
6. Evite la operación accidental. Asegúrese de
que la Luz Portátil está apagada antes de
conectar la batería y antes de levantarla
o transportarla. Si presiona el interruptor
del dispositivo o lo conecta al suministro
de energía cuando está encendido, puede
provocar accidentes.
7. Apague siempre la Luz Portátil cuando no la
utilice.
8. Nunca utilice dispositivos eléctricos con
un interruptor defectuoso. Los dispositivos
eléctricos que no se pueden encender o
apagar son peligrosos y deben ser reparados
inmediatamente.
9. Retire la batería antes de ajustar, limpiar y
almacenar el dispositivo o cuando cambie

operación accidental de la Luz Portátil.
10. Cuando no la utilice, mantenga la Luz Portátil
fuera del alcance de los niños. No permita
que otras personas utilicen el dispositivo a
menos que lo conozcan o hayan leído estas
instrucciones. Los dispositivos eléctricos son
peligrosos cuando son utilizados por personal
sin experiencia.
11. Realice el mantenimiento del dispositivo con
cuidado. Compruebe que todas las piezas

18. Nunca utilice una Luz Portátil incompleta,

INSTALACIÓN O RETIRADA DE
LA BATTERÍA
1. Sujete la herramienta y la batería firmemente
al instalar o retirar la batería. No sujetar la
herramienta y la batería puede provocar
descargas eléctricas, incendios y/o lesiones

2. Apague siempre la herramienta antes de
instalar o retirar la batería.
3. Para retirar la batería, presione el
desbloqueador (A) y extráigala
4. Para instalar la batería, alinee los carriles
de la cavidad de la batería con los del
paquete de batería. Inserte siempre la
batería completamente hasta que oiga
el clic que indica que ya está encajada
en su sitio.Si no queda encajada, podría
caerse accidentalmente de la herramienta,
provocando lesiones al usuario o a otras
personas. (Figura 2B) NOTA: No utilice fuerza
al instalar la batería. Si el cartucho no se
desliza fácilmente dentro de la máquina, no
se está insertando correctamente
CONEXIÓN DEL ADAPTADOR
1. Retire el tapón impermeable (A) del conector
del adaptador. (Figura 3)
2. Asegúrese de que la Luz Portátil esté
apagada (posición ‘off’) y enchufe el
adaptador al conector del cuerpo de la Luz
Portátil.
3. Cuando retire el adaptador, debe volver
a colocar el tapón impermeable (A)
inmediatamente, de lo contrario, entrará
polvo, agua, etc. y puede ser una causa de un
funcionamiento erróneo.
ENCENDIDO O APAGADO DE
LA LUZ PORTÁTIL
1. Instale una batería cargada o conecte el
adaptador. Si utiliza un adaptador, asegúrese
de que el adaptador está correctamente
conectado a un tomacorriente.
2. Para encenderla, presione el interruptor de
encendido/apagado a la posición HIGH (Alto)

AJUSTE DEL ÁNGULO
Ángulo de luz
Para ajustar el ángulo del cuerpo de la luz,
afloje la tuerca de ajuste del ángulo del cuerpo
(A), sujete el asa con una mano y ajuste la luz
del cuerpo con la otra. (Figura 5A)
Ángulo del marco
Para ajustar el ángulo del marco de la luz, afloje
la tuerca de ajuste del ángulo del marco (B),
sujete el marco con una mano y ajuste el asa
con la otra. (Figura 5B)
ADVERTENCIA: PARA REDUCIR EL
RIESGO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA, no
cargue el paquete de batería bajo la lluvia.
INDICADOR LED DE NIVEL DE CARGA DEL
PAQUETE DE BATERÍA
El paquete de batería de ion-litio está equipado
con un indicador LED de nivel de carga. Para
evaluar el nivel de carga del paquete de batería,
presione el botón del indicador que se encuentra
en la parte delantera del paquete de batería
(Figura ).
Sin luces: recargue.
Una luz verde fija:
menos del  de carga.
Cargue el paquete de batería antes de
utilizarlo.
Dos luces vedes fijas:
entre el  y el  de carga.
Tres luces vedes fijas:
entre el  y el  de carga.
Cuatro luces vedes fijas:
entre el  y el  de carga.
CONEXIÓN DEL CARGADOR
Si el cargador incluye un cable de alimentación por
separado, conecte el cable del cargador al cargador
y al tomacorriente adecuado (Figura ).
Utilice únicamente el conjunto de cables
suministrado con el cargador. Al utilizarlo por
primera vez, verifique que el tipo de enchufe
coincida con el receptáculo.

INDICADOR LED DEL ESTADO DE CARGA
DEL CARGADOR
El cargador de batería está equipado con un
indicador de estado de carga que indica el
estado de la carga, así como las condiciones
que pueden demorar o prevenir la carga
(Figura ).
Nota: Las luces no serán visibles hasta que no
se inserte un paquete de batería.
Luz intermitente naranja: existe una
condición de falla. Hay varias causas
posibles. Consulte "Resolución de
problemas" en este manual.
Luz naranja fija: la temperatura del
paquete de batería supera el rango
aceptable (de  °C/ °F a
 °C/ °F). Deje que el paquete de
batería alcance el rango de
temperatura aceptable antes de
cargarlo. Puede dejar el paquete en el
cargador mientras se ajusta la
temperatura. La carga comenzará
cuando se alcance la temperatura
adecuada..
Luz verde intermitente: el paquete de
batería se está cargando.
Luz verde fija: el paquete de batería
está lista para utilizar.
ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese siempre de que la
herramienta está apagada y la batería retirada
antes de realizar una inspección o tareas de
mantenimiento en la herramienta. No apagar la
herramienta y retirar la batería puede provocar
lesiones personales graves a consecuencia de
un arranque accidental.
• Apagar la luz

• Desconectar el cable del adaptador (del
tomacorriente y de la Luz Portátil)
