ORMESA s.r.l. thanks you for choosing New BUG, which combines attention to aesthetics and
functionality with respect for ergonomics and safety.
New Bug is a tilting seat that grows with the child and can be placed on any flat surface - and,
in particular, on three bases (with three or four wheels, or for indoor use).
ORMESA recommends that you read this manual carefully. In addition to helping you become
familiar with the seat quickly, it also contains practical tips for making the best use of it safely and
keeping it in good working order.
If, after reading it, you still have questions, contact your retailer, who will be happy to help you, or
call ORMESA directly at +39 0742 22927, send a fax to +39 0742 22637 or send an e-mail to:

WARNINGS
- Carefully read the instructions in this manual before using the seat; they will help you use the
product safely and keep it in good working order. The Use and Maintenance Manual is an
integral part of the product and must be carefully preserved for future reference.
- The manual is intended for technically qualified retailers and users and their assistants; it
provides instructions for its correct use and must be supplemented by adequate knowledge of
the rehabilitation program for which it has been prescribed.
- The manual reflects the technical state of the product at the time it was sold. ORMESA s.r.l.
Reserves the right to make any changes to the product or manual suggested by
experience, technical considerations or regulatory developments without any obligation to
update its previous production and relevant manual.
- Bases 869 and 901 were designed for outdoor use. Base 856 is only intended for indoor
use.
- The doctor must check that the use of the seat conforms to current laws, regulations and
standards.
- The seat is intended for use by people whose size and weight fall within the range of the
"Technical Specifications" on pages 10, 26 and 42 and was exclusively designed for the
transport and placement of children.
- New BUG is available in four sizes: change to a larger seat as the child grows
- The New BUG stroller must be manoeuvred by people with the height and strength to
control its movements
- Before each use always check that the brakes are working, the wheels are not excessively
worn and that the frame, backrest and footrest are locked
- Before each use, always check that the seat is correctly hooked to the frame (see page 14-
15, 30-31 and 45)
- Make sure that all adjustable parts are locked before each use
- When pausing, always locks both brakes, even on level ground
- Always lock the brakes before making any type of adjustment
- Clean the device and upholstery following the instructions shown in the “Maintenance”
chapter on page 72
- THE UPHOLSTERY IS FIRE-RETARDANT: it conforms to class 1 IM of the Italian UNI 9177
standard; to class M1 of the French NF P92-507 standard and has passed tests for the
European EN 1021-1/2 standard. ITS FIRE-RETARDANT PROPERTIES ARE INHERENT TO
THE FIBRE AND DO NOT DEPEND ON TREATMENT WITH ADDITIVES.
- The operating environment has no effect on the device, except when used near the sea,
because salt in the air damages the paint and sliding parts. In this case, we recommend
carefully cleaning the frame following the instructions shown in the “Maintenance” chapter on
page 72.
- PRODUCT REPAIRS OR CORRECTIONS other than the regular maintenance shown on
page 72 of the manual MUST ONLY BE MADE BY ORMESA S.R.L. OR AN AUTHORIZED
SERVICE CENTRE, OR THE WARRANTY AND CE MARK WILL BE VOIDED
- ORMESA s.r.l. warrants the product for 2 years: in the case of problems, contact the retailer
where you purchased it. Always demand original replacement parts or you will risk voiding the
