WARNINGS
-Before using the push-chair carefully read the instructions in this handbook, because
it was written for your safety and to guide you in the necessary learning process of the right
use and Maintenance of this product. It is integrant part of the product and it must be kept
with care for future references
-This handbook is for Dealers, Retailers Assistants and Users; it gives instructions about
the correct use of the product and it has to be integrated by an adequate knowledge of the
aid by the prescribing technician
-The handbook reflects the kind of technique at the moment of putting the aid on the market.
-ORMESA reserves the right to carry out any modification to the aid and to its
handbook which can be suggested by the experience, by technical considerations or by the
change of standards. These modifications will be made without being obliged to update the
previous production and its handbooks
-THE USE OF NewNOVUS AND ITS ACCESSORIES MUST BE CONTROLLED BY THE
DOCTOR according to the legislation , rules and laws in force
-THE PUSH-CHAIR HAS TO BE USED BY PEOPLE WHOSE BODILY SIZE AND WEIGHT
ARE JUST LIKE THE ONES specified in the paragraph «TECHNICAL
SPECIFICATIONS» at page 6
-NewNOVUS is available in three sizes : change the push-chair as soon as the child grows up
-NewNOVUS has to be driven by people whose height and size enable them to control
its movements
-NewNOVUS CAN BE ONLY USED BY THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY
EXAMINED THE RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS HANDBOOK
-Before each use always check the brake efficiency, the wheel wear, the lock
mechanism of the frame, backrest and footrest
-Before each use ALWAYS CHECK THAT ALL ADJUSTABLE PARTS ARE WELL LOCKED
-GO ON A PAVEMENT MOVING FORTH AND GO DOWN IT MOVING BACKWARDS (see p.
5)
-ALWAYS LOCK BRAKES WHENEVER YOU STOP, even on flat ground
-CLEAN THE PUSHCHAIR AND ITS UPHOLSTERY by following the instructions in the
chapter “MAINTENANCE”, page 32
-The operative environment does not have a particular influence on the aid unless IT
IS USED IN THE SEA SURROUNDINGS. This because the saltness may damage the
varnishing and its sliding parts. In this case WE SUGGEST TO CLEAN, THE FRAME
SCRUPULOUSLY by following the specification in the chapter «MAINTENANCE» on
page 32
-ORMESA guarantees NewNOVUS for 2 years : If the push-chair is defective, contact the
local dealer who sold it to you
-ORMESA is not responsible for any damages caused in the following cases :
-use by unsuitable personnel;

- incorrect assembly of parts or accessories;
- unauthorized modifications or operations;
- use of spare parts that are not original and parts subject to wear and tear (such as
upholstery, wheels ..);
- incorrect or wrong use of the aid (such as carrying objects or children whose weight is
more than the one specified in this Use and Maintenance handbook);
- damages caused by an incorrect use or by the failure of ordinary maintenance as
specified in this exceptional events;
- non compliance with the instructions in this Handbook Use and Maintenance Handbook.

THE CE MARKING CERTIFIES THAT THE NEWNOVUS PUSH-CHAIR IS IN CONFORMITY

SOME EXAMPLES OF WHAT SHOULDN'T BE DONE WHILE USING
NewNOVUS
-NEVER GET ON A WALK ON UNEVEN SURFACES, STEEP SLOPES OR STAIRS
-NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN TO USE THE PUSH-CHAIR, NOT EVEN TO PLAY WITH IT
-DON'TPUT ANYTHING TOO HOT ON THE TRAY BECAUSE THE WOOD OR COVERING
COULD BE HARDLY DAMAGED AND BECAUSE IT COULD FALL
-NEVER LEAVE THE USER ALONE IN THE PUSH-CHAIR
-NEVER LEAVE NewNOVUS ON A SLOPE
-NEVER USE NewNOVUS WITH FLAT WHEELS: IT COULD LOSE ITS STABILITY AND
INCREASE THE RISK OF OVERTURNING (SEE § "ORDINARY MAINTENANCE"at page 32)
-DON'TLET ANYBODY GET ON THE FOOTREST OR STAND ON IT, AT THE BACK OF THE
PUSH-CHAIR
-NEVER LIFT THE PUSH-CHAIR BY TAKING IT FROM THE LEGREST FRAME OR FROM
THE FOOTREST WHENEVER YOU HAVE TO OVERCOME AN OBSTACLE
-DON'TGET ON OR DOWN STAIRS HAVING THE USER ON THE NewNOVUS : THE FRAME
OF THE PUSH-CHAIR HAS NOT BEEN DESIGNED TO THIS AIM
-DON'TUSE THE PUSH-CHAIR IF ANY PARTS ARE DAMAGED OR MISSING. ALWAYS ASK
FOR THE USE OF ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS. IF NOT OUR GUARANTEE IS NOT
CONFIRMED

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
-Folding aluminium frame. It is varnished with non-toxic epoxy varnish
-Padded, breathable, ergonomic, removable upholstery. It is covered with a material that is wear
and water proof. It is fixed to the seat thanks to buttons. It was designed to make it possible to
change the position of the supports and to fix or unfix the accessories without causing any
problem to the child. Holes for accessories
-Rigid backrest . it is adjustable in height and it can be reclined
-Seat adjustable in width and depth
-Padded protecting covers for knees
-Tip-up footrest. It is adjustable in height; leg rest adjustable in tilt
-Detachable wheels. They can be detached from the frame thanks to a release mechanism.: front
unpierceable wheels, cm. 17,5 on ball bearings and back pneumatic wheels cm. 30 on ball
bearings
-Independent drum brakes
