SAFETY
The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle
is intended to alert the user to the presence of un-insulated “danger-
ous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufcient
magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance
(servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.
This product was designed and manufactured to meet strict quality and safety standards. There are, however,some
installation and operation precautions, which you should be particularly aware of.

WARNING
1. Read and keep these instructions. Heed all warnings and follow all Instructions.
2. Do not use this apparatus near water.
3. Clean only with dry cloth.
4. Do not block any ventilation openings . Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not install this
equipment in a conned or “boxed-in” space such as a bookcase or similar unit, and maintain good ventilation conditions.
The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspaper, tablecloths,
curtains, etc.
5. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including ampliers)
that produce heat. Do not place exposed ame sources such as lighted candles on the apparatus.
6. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug . A polarized plug has two blades with one wider
than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is pro-
vided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete
outlet.
7. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus.
8. Only use attachment/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
9. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
10. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any

way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
11. Power Sources: This product should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in these operating
instructions, or as marked on the unit.
12. Water and Moisture: This product should be kept away from direct contact with liquids. The apparatus shall not be
exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects lled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
13. Protective earthing terminal: The apparatus should be connected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing
connection.

14. When moving or not using the appliance, secure the power cord (e.g., wrap it with a cable tie). Be careful not to damage
the power cord. Before using it again, make sure the power cord has not been damaged. If the power cord has been dam-
aged at all, bring the unit and cord to a qualied service technician for repair or replacement as specied by the manufacturer.
• Disconnect power cord before servicing.
• Replace critical components. only with factory parts or recommended equivalents.
• For AC line powered units: Before returning repaired unit to user, use an ohmmeter to measure from both AC plug blades to
all exposed metal parts. The resistance should be more than 2,000,000 ohms.
CAUTION (for U.S.A. & CANADIAN models only): TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT USE THIS (POLARIZED)
PLUG WITH AN EXTENSION CORD, RECEPTACLE OR OTHER OUTLET UNLESS THE BLADES CAN BE FULLY
INSERTED TO PREVENT BLADE EXPOSURE.
IMPORTANT NOTES
To prevent the occurrence of noise on line signal cables, use screened cables only and avoid putting them close to:
- Equipment that produces high-intensity electromagnetic elds
- Power cables
- Loudspeaker lines.
The equipments considered in this manual can be used in electromagnetic environment E1 to E3 as specied on
EN 55103-1/2: 2009.
OPERATING PRECAUTIONS
- Place this product far from any heat sources and always ensure an adequate air circulation around it.
- Do not overload this product for a long time.
- Never force the control elements (keys, knobs, etc. ).
- Do not use solvents, alcohol, benzene or other volatile substances for cleaning the external parts of this product.

Before connecting and using this product, please read this instruction manual carefully and keep it on hand for future refer-
ence. The manual is to be considered an integral part of this product and must accompany it when it changes ownership as a
