Thank you for purchasing the OSIM uGlow IonCare. Please read the operation manual
thoroughly for the correct methods of usage and take special notice of the safety section
before you start.
This manual should be kept on hand for easy reference. It is your guide to safe and
efficient operation.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the product, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
Read all instructions before using the product.
DANGER –To reduce the risk of electric shock:
Always unplug this product from the power source immediately after charging and before cleaning.
WARNING–To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
1) Only use the USB cable provided to charge the product. This product must only be supplied
at safety extra low voltage corresponding to the marking on the product.
2) The product should not be left unattended while charging.
3) Disconnect the USB cable and remove it from the power source after charging.
4) Do not use or rest on the product while charging.
5) When the battery life span is over, contact OSIM Service Center for battery replacement.
Do not replace the product battery yourself. Only use the battery provided.
6) The battery must be removed and disposed of safely before product is scrapped.
7) The product must be disconnected from supply mains when removing the battery.
8) Close supervision of an adult is necessary when the product is used by, on, or near invalids
or disabled persons. Keep children away when the product is in operation.
9) Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments
not recommended by the manufacturer.
10) Do not use this product when any part of it is torn or broken, or when the USB cable is
not working properly, damaged or dropped into water. Contact OSIM Service Center for
examination and repair.
11) Keep the product and USB cable away from heated surface or source.
12) Never drop or insert any object into any openings.
13) Do not use this product outdoors.
14) Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is administered.
15) Children should be supervised by an adult to ensure that they do not play with the product.
16) This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
17) Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
18) Do not operate the product under the blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur
and cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
19) This product has a heated surface. Persons insensitive to heat must be careful when using the product.

Safety
Safety precautions
• Do not use the product when showering
or bathing.
• Stop using immediately should you
experience any discomfort or redness on
the skin.
• Do not wash the product or immerse it in
water. Only use a soft, dry cloth to clean
the massage head.
• Remove contact lens before using the
product.
• Do not use the product when the internal
components are exposed. This may
cause injury or malfunction.
• Do not rest or place heavy objects on the
product as this may result in malfunction
or damage to it.
• To prevent accidental injury, do not
allow children and pets to play near the
product.
• Users must not attempt to disassemble
or repair the product. All repairs or
replacement of parts must only be
done at OSIM’s Service Centre or by an
authorized service agent.
Usage environment
• Do not operate the product in a high
temperature and/or high humidity
environment.
• Do not operate the product in a dusty
environment.
• Do not expose the product to heaters,
stoves or direct sunlight.
• This product is not for commercial
usage.

Operation
Charging the product
• The red LED indicator will flicker to
indicate low battery level.
• Connect the uGlow IonCare using the
supplied USB cable to a power source.
• The white ‘Power’ LED indicator will
flicker while it is charging. Once fully
charged, the white LED indicator will stop
flickering and remain lit.
• There will be 2 ‘beep’ sounds when the
USB cable is disconnected from uGlow
IonCare.
• The uGlow IonCare will not work when it
is charging.
• Each full charge (approximately 2.5
hours) lasts at least 1.5 hours of usage.
Program selection
• Press the [ ] button to cycle through
the 3 auto programs.
• Press the [ ] button to either High or
Low setting for all 3 programs.
1) Cleanse (1 ‘beep’ sound, the
corresponding white LED indicator
of program will be on).
2) Nourish (1 ‘beep’ sound, the
corresponding white LED indicator
of program will be on).
3) Warmth (1 ‘beep’ sound, the
corresponding white LED indicator
of program will be on).
• Each program will last 4 minutes. After
4 minutes uGlow IonCare will enter
standby mode and it will ‘beep’ once.
• Once in standby mode, uGlow IonCare
will automatically turn off after
approximately 30 seconds of inactivity.
Turning product on/off
• Press and hold the [ ] button for around
3 seconds and it will ‘beep’ once to
indicate that the uGlow IonCare is turned
on.
• Press and hold the [ ] button for around
3 seconds and it will ‘beep’ twice to
indicate that the uGlow IonCare is turned
off.
• The uGlow IonCare will automatically
start ‘Cleanse’ program once it is turned
on.

Operation
Preparation before use
• When using ‘Cleanse’ mode it is
recommended to use the product
together with a skincare product and a
cotton pad.
• Twist anti-clockwise and lift to remove
cover ring.
Suggested usage
• Hold the product such that your palms are
in contact with the sensor bars located on
both sides of the uGlow IonCare.
• Place the massage head on your face
and uGlow IonCare will automatically be
activated.
• Place a cotton pad on massage head.
Place cover ring on top of cotton pad.
Twist clockwise to secure the cotton pad.
• Pour adequate amount of skin care
product onto the cotton pad.
• Use product in circular motions around
the cheek, chin and forehead.
• Use product in upward motions around
your jaw area.

Product care and storage
Product placement and storage
Environmental factors can strongly affect the product physically and mechanically. Do not
expose the product to direct sunlight or in places with extreme heat or air-conditioning vents.
These can cause the product to crack or the color to fade.
If the product is not to be used for a long period of time, cover it with a dust cover and
disconnect the USB cable from the power source.
Clean the product using a dry cloth regularly
Before cleaning, ensure that the main switch is turned off and the USB cable is disconnected
from the power source.
The product is customarily exposed to the natural body oils of users. The main unit structure
can be cleaned thoroughly with a piece of soft, dry cloth. The common microfibre cleaning
materials or gloves are very well suited for this routine maintenance process. Such materials
and gloves are available for sale in most DIY shops.
Do NOT use wet elements for cleaning
The product is made up of electrical components and mechanical parts, which are all very
sensitive to moisture. Under no circumstances should they be exposed to any form of water or
moisture. If you use water (eg. a wet cloth) to clean the product, the coating may be eroded
and the protection for the product will be diminished.
As for the power button, it may result in malfunction if you use a wet cloth to clean.
Do NOT use cleaning solvents and abrasive cleaners
Under no circumstances should you use any cleaning agents, like benzene or thinner to clean
the product. This may cause the color of the product to fade.
Do NOT attempt to repair your product
Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the product, for safety reason.
If you suspect a malfunction, always call the OSIM Service Center for further assistance and
information.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter problems with the operation of the uGlow IonCare, please check the follow-
ing points to see if they can be rectified. If the uGlow IonCare still malfunctions or does not
work, please turn off the uGlow IonCare. Contact OSIM Service Center* for servicing.
Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the uGlow IonCare yourself. Doing so will
void the warranty and OSIM will not bear any responsibility for any subsequent
consequences.

Product warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.
•The auto timer function of 4 minutes may have
lapsed.
• The Power button [ ] was pressed accidentally.
• If the uGlow IonCare stops due to overheating,
wait at least 1 hour before attempting to use it
again.
• The battery level is low. Recharge the battery
before attempting to use the uGlow IonCare
again.
• Ensure that the uGlow IonCare is not in charging
mode.
• Ensure palms are in contact with the sensor bars
on both sides of the product.
• Skin may be too dry. Apply some moisturizing
product on intended usage area and attempt to
use again.
Problem Possible causes / actions
• The massage stops midway.
• The uGlow IonCare will not
start.
• Ensure that only the USB cable provided is in use.
• Ensure that the voltage and current of the power
source is adequate.
• The internal safety device may have been
activated due to incorrect voltage. Contact OSIM
Service Center for servicing.
• The uGlow IonCare will not
charge.

充电
