SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
For your own safety and that of those around you, before using the bike for
the first time, take a few minutes to read the manual and save it for future
reference.
Height and weight regulations:
The OSSBY bicycle has been designed for a cyclist with a height between
1.45m and 1.85m and for a weight (cyclist + bicycle + luggage) that does not
exceed 106Kg.
Types of use of the Ossby:
The Ossby bicycle should only be used on urbanized terrain as it is a bicycle
for exclusively urban use. It should never be used on uneven terrain. Ossby
bikes are not designed for figure or stair descents, extreme sports, jumping
jacks, or similar activities. Please, only use your bicycle following these rules
to avoid accidents, damage, or the cancellation of your warranty.
Folding and unfolding the bicycle
When folding and unfolding the bike, be careful not to put your hands or
fingers in places on the frame where they could be pinched or trapped.
Carriers, child seats and trailers:
The Ossby bicycle does not accept racks or child seats. They cannot be
attached to the seat post or the handlebar. If you wish, you can only attach
the accessories custom-developed by the Ossby brand to the steering tube
support provided for this purpose.
Additionally, Ossby, as a manufacturer, does not advise the use of trailers
for its Curve model.
BEFORE RIDING YOUR OSSBY
You must make sure that the seat post is inserted at least up to the “MIN.
Insert” and that the closure is securely tightened. Check the tire pressure as
well as the proper functioning of the brakes.
When using your Ossby, the traffic regulations in force in your country must
be respected.
Here are some additional recommendations:
- The use of a helmet is recommended.
- Respect the signs and regulations of the country in which you ride.
- Wear suitable clothing, shoes that do not slip and light-signalling devices at
dusk.
- Do not wear headphones or talk on the phone whilst riding.

3
- Be respectful with whom you share the road. Protect yourself and others.
- When folding the bike, make sure not to rest your hand or fingers where
they can get caught.
- Do not use the Ossby bicycle after a fall or an accident before having it
checked by one of the brand's representative stores.
THE OSSBY BIKE
The Ossby Curve is a folding bicycle that surprises with its easy and
comfortable handling. It is a very light bike, weighing only 9.5 kg for its Eco
version and 13.5 Kg for the Electric model, and it allows itself to be folded
and unfolded in 1 second in a very simple way.
It is an ideal bicycle to move around the city and offers excellent
performance both on flat and sloping terrain thanks to its 3 speeds.
Another aspect that stands out in this model is the ease of movement that
it allows once folded, since it can continue to move on its wheels, thus
avoiding having to carry it.

FOLDING AND UNFOLDING
The frame
The Ossby Curve bike can very quickly be folded and unfolded. Thanks to
its “EasyUp” system, you only have to lift the connecting rod knot upwards.
In this way, the bicycle will fold, bringing the two wheels together. Once up,
the folding system is locked thanks to the locking tab.
To unfold, lift the tab and the system will release, allowing the bike to
lower into its unfolded position again.
The handlebar
The Ossby handlebar is a system developed and patented by the brand.
Move each of the central cylinders towards the handlebar grips and stay
folded, with the handlebar arms aligned with the frame.
To unfold it again, you only have to open the handlebar horns to their
natural position, and they will return to their initial place automatically,
being blocked by a spring system.

5
The pedals
Press the central button and push the pedal towards the crank. To unfold,
gently nudge the pedal towards its natural position and, once in place, it will
stay locked, ready to pedal.
BICYCLE ADJUSTMENTS
The correct adjustment of the height of the saddle and the height of the
handlebar is necessary to use your Ossby comfortably. In this section we
detail the recommended settings to enjoy the bike.
The saddle - height:
- Loosen the saddle clamp to insert the seat post.
- Insert the seat post.
- Place the seat post at the desired height, but make sure that the minimum
mark is always hidden inside the frame, you should never attempt to ride
with this visible mark.
- Once placed, make sure to properly close the clamp.
- Check that the saddle is correctly locked in place.
- Check that the saddle is at the height necessary for you to fully stretch your
leg when the pedal is in its lowest position. If not, repeat the previous steps
again until you find the right position.
VERY IMPORTANT: FOR YOUR SAFETY, NEVER ALLOW THE MINIMUM
MARK ON THE SEAT TO BE OUTSIDE THE FRAME OF THE BICYCLE. BEFORE
EACH USE CHECK THAT THE LINE IS HIDDEN.
The saddle - inclination:
The nose of the saddle should be slightly elevated (between 0.5cm and 1cm).
Check regularly that the saddle is securely attached to the seat post.
Make sure the saddle is correctly aligned, parallel to the frame, to avoid
possible loss of control of the bike.
The handlebar:
In general, the handlebar should be aligned 1 or 2 cm below the height of
the saddle, although each user can find the position that is most
comfortable for them.
- Loosen the central screw of the stem.
- Raise the handlebar to the desired height.
- Tighten the central screw of the stem again making sure that the handlebar
is aligned with the wheel.
- Check that the handlebar has been completely fixed on the stem and that
there is no movement between the two parts.

6
FRAME
The Ossby frame’s design has been patented by the brand. It is made of
100% aluminium; it is very light and whist at the same time resistant.
BREAKS
The OSSBY bike is equipped with independently operating front and rear
disc brakes. Do not ride with only one working brake. Check that the brakes
are in good condition before using your bike. The left lever activates the
front wheel, and the right lever operates the rear brake. When you squeeze
the brake lever towards you, you activate the disc brake, and the bike slows
down.
Please note that the braking distance may vary. On a rain-wet road, the
braking distance is considerably lengthened (up to 40%).
Disc brakes can become overheated with prolonged or heavy use. Do not
touch the rotor until it has cooled down.
Under no circumstances should the bicycle be used when the braking
system (for example, the cables) is damaged. If this is the case, contact the
nearest store in the Ossby distribution network.
WHEELS
The front wheel of the OSSBY CURVE bike is 12 inches and the rear wheel is
14 inches.
For comfortable and safe riding, the tires must be properly inflated. The
correct pressure is marked on each tire.
Front and rear tire pressure: maximum 40 PSI / 2.8 Bar.
It is very important to use an inflator that indicates the pressure to be able
to confirm it before use and ride the bicycle with the wheels properly
inflated.
The rim of the wheels must be smooth, without cracks. Check the state of
wear often.
Periodically check the condition of your tires. When it's time to change them,
you can find all the parts you need on our website ossby.com.
Correct spoke tension is very important for your safety. An authorised Ossby
representative can check the correct tension of the spokes of your wheels.
CHAIN
Periodically check the chain tension.
Clean the chain from dust and lubricate it with a suitable lubricant. After
1500km or maximum 3000km, the chain will have reached its degree of
wear. A worn chain can affect the durability of other items. It is important
that a specialist check the status of it. Changing a chain requires certain
knowledge and tools, which is why we recommend that it be done by a
professional.
When applying lubricant, make sure that the liquid does not come into
contact with the tires, rims, or the braking system as it could increase the
chances of an accident.

7

SWICH NUT
On the rear wheel axle, you will find a rubber plug and inside it a small
metal switch that is inserted into the axle. This is essential to be able to
activate the electrical system. Upon attaching it the electric motor will start
working once you begin to pedal. For a better experience and to be able to
control the help modes it is necessary that you download the APP Keyde.
Download the APP: ossby.com/en/app
GETTING STARTED
To use your new electric bicycle, you need to download the KEYDE APP
available for iOS and Android completely free of charge. With this
application you can choose the level of assistance, see the speed at which
you move, and check your battery level.
When you open the application, you will find the "SEARCH" button. Press it
to start the search and connection with the bike. Once connected,
everything is ready so that you can control your bike from the phone.

8
I CAN'T CONNECT THE APP
-Make sure you have Bluetooth enabled on your phone
-Turn the wheel several times to activate it if it has been off for an
extended period.
-Make sure the battery is charged. (See below how to charge it)
-Check that the switch nut is correctly inserted in the wheel axle.
(See switch nut section above).
HOW TO CONFIGURE THE APP
Once downloaded and launched on the phone, you must configure it for
use with the Ossby Curve. At the top right you will find the menu. Make
sure to set it as shown in the image above.
READY TO RIDE
From the main page of the APP you can choose between the three
assistance modes: ECO mode offers the least assistance while SPORT
mode offers the most. The electrical system can also be disactivated when
you do not want to use it by pressing the OFF button.
You can check the battery level to know when you need to charge it again.

9
HOW TO CHARGE MY OSSBY CURVE ELECTRIC
The Ossby Curve Electric can be
recharged with the charger
(provided with the purchase of the
bicycle) by plugging it into any
domestic electrical outlet. To
connect it to the bike it is necessary
to remove the rubber protector
and the small metal switch located
in the centre of the rear wheel axle
simply by pulling them out. Once
the connection is released, you just
need to insert the plug of the charger.
The battery can be fully recharged in between 3 and 4 hours. The status
light will confirm when charging is complete. The red light means that it is
not fully charged yet, and it will turn green when the charge is complete.
The battery can be charged when needed, there is no need to wait until it
completely runs out. If you are not going to use the bicycle for a long time,
make sure you leave the battery slightly charged.
Finally, we advise you to charge the battery at least every 3 weeks to
guarantee battery performance over time.
Attention: it is important not to leave the battery plugged in for several
days. Once charging is complete, disconnect the charger as soon as
possible.
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
During maintenance, be careful not to put your hands or fingers in places
where they could be pinched or trapped, such as the folding knots of the
bicycle, the wheels ...
Cleaning
Do not use high-pressure water jets or soapy solutions as this could
contribute to the deterioration of the components and the frame of the
Ossby Curve. Use a soft cotton cloth.
Periodic revisions
Ossby bicycles are assembled in our factory with quality components. If
replacement parts of inferior quality are used, it can affect the experience
on the bike and limit its properties, even cause defects or breakage. Do not
attempt to repair or replace components yourself. Find a professional store
to make the important repairs.
