The relevan user manual is a documen which should be read by he users before opera ing he
machine. I con ains all basic informa ion abou he machine u iliza ion. In his documen , here
is also informa ion abou he long erm and efficien use of he machine and he necessary
basic main enance. By means of his manual, he user can use he sof and mechanical key
elemen s correc ly. Al hough some of he equipmen moun ed on he machine is differen in

5.1 Safe y Swi ch
This sec ion con ains he necessary informa ion for he safe use of he machine and he general
equipmen .
5.2 Safe y Measures and Acciden Preven ion
The necessary warnings abou he acciden s and measures are given in he user manual.
However, he user is supposed o warn and direc he workplace s aff o ensure observance of
he work safe y. Workplace officers should make he necessary follow-ups during
implemen a ion. The opera or should have full knowledge of he safe y rules abou he relevan
machine before s ar ing o work. The safe y elemen s which were available during he delivery
of he machine should be main ained comple ely.
Producing company shall no be responsible for he acciden s and securi y gaps arising from he
processes which do no comply wi h he erms of use and safe y of he machine. The risks in
his con ex shall affec he warran y erms as well. Producing company shall no be responsible
for he acciden s and breakdowns arising from non-observance of he ins ruc ions for he
machine and equipmen . The cri ical par s of he machine and equipmen ha require
replacemen due o wear, e c. should be replaced immedia ely.

5.3 Machine Usage and Wrong Uses
SL 500 Aluminum block cu ing machine is only produced for profile cu ing opera ion. The user
is responsible for he machine breakdowns and work safe y gaps arising from machining during
cu ing opera ions excluding profile cu ing.

5.4 General Safe y Rules
I is appropria e for SL 500 Aluminum block cu ing machine o be used by one opera or. If he
opera or has a en ion defici because of drugs, alcohol and medicine, he should never work.
The opera or should check he machine and i s componen s before opera ing. During he rou ine
main enance, main swi ch should be absolu ely closed and i should be ensured ha he
elec rici y and pneuma ic are off. If here is hydropneuma ic equipmen , he pressure should be
relieved. Do no change he equipmen and safe y componen s on he machine. Do no remove
he safe y device and he barriers. The opera or should have clo hing which is sui able for he
machine and produc ion condi ions. The opera or should no wear belongings such as ring,
bracele , e c. which may lead o acciden s. If he personnel has long hair, he should wear hair
ne . The ins alla ion should comply wi h he raining given by he specialis s of M.S.K. company.
5.5 Main enance Measures for Safe y
All main enance work should be carried ou by he compe en echnicians having full knowledge
abou he periodical echnique. Use he appropria e equipmen defined in he erms of machine
main enance.
5.6 Elec rici y Safe y Rules
In case of non-observance of he following safe y rules, severe occupa ional acciden s and
injuries may occur. The s aff who shall perform elec rical in erferences and main enance should
be engineer. All of he works should be performed wi h he isola ed proper equipmen . Take he
safe y signs in o considera ion and do no remove hem. Any supplemen a ion and removal
canno be made on he ension line. Use he original spare par s and equipmen . Any change of
he circui s is no allowed. Turn off he elec rical equipmen before cleaning. Make sure ha he
main cabin and cabine doors are closed. In case of fire, cu off he power from he main swi ch.
Use he appropria e fire figh ing equipmen .

5.7 Ligh ing Condi ions
The opera or should use he equipmen having he appropria e ligh ing values for safe y and
heal h. Min. ligh level for using he machine is de ermined as 300 lux. Review EN 12464-1
Ligh ing Norm for de ailed echnical informa ion.

5.8 Wiring
All of he necessary wiring should be se properly in accordance wi h he machine. The needs
such as elec ric energy, pneuma ic needs, e c. should have proper values and he compa ible
equipmen should be placed in he layou area. IEC 64-8 norm should be aken in o
considera ion while ins alling he elec rical equipmen .

5.9 Grounding Condi ions
Grounding sys em should comply wi h he erms of s andard IEC 64-8. Low-vol age equipmen
should comply wi h he norm (IEC64; IEC364). Grounding processes should be carried ou
considering he vol age values. A, marked poin is grounding inpu .
