1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Pacific Sun Lighting.
With the purchase of this unit, you have selected a top quality product. It has been
specifically designed for aquaristic purposes and has been tested by experts. With this
unit, you are able to adjust light source in your saltwater tank simply and efficiently in order
to achieve optimum light levels and coal health.
For best results, please read through this instruction manual before installing the lamp
on your system.

of each LED channel into one perfect light spectrum with great coverage and beautiful
shimmering effects without ”disco ball effect”.
No secondary optics and additional diffusers – no limitation of light output because of
additional diffusers or narrowing the angle of light distribution because of additional

Metis Hyperion R2+ is the latest generation of lamp based on proven and very popular
lamp – Metis Hyperion R2. It’s equipped with our newest Hyperion R2+ LED panel made
in SMT technology (Square Metrix Technology) and can easily penetrate water over 30″
deep.
Metis Hyperion R2+ is available in 3 sizes covering a wide range of tanks. The SMT
provides a perfect mix of colors all LED channels and an extraordinary visual experience
– very strong shimmer on the bottom of the aquarium comparable to metal halide. The
Pacific Sun lamp has been designed as a pendant lamp for open aquariums. It must not be
used in enclosed aquariums below the canopy.

2.3. Metis Hyperion S/S2
9 channel, wireless control LED lamp
Metis Hyperion S is the latest generation of lamp based on proven and very popular
lamp – Metis Hyperion R2. It’s equipped with our newest Hyperion S LED panel made in
SMT technology (NO WHITE LEDs).
The “S” stands for shallow as the new LED panels gives off a remarkable turquoise
blue color replicating the tropical sun shimmering in the shallow reefs of Bali and can easily
penetrate water over 30″ deep.
Metis Hyperion S is available in 3 sizes covering a wide range of tanks. See specs and
coverage details below. The SMT provides the perfect mix of colors all LED channels and
an extraordinary visual experience – very strong shimmer at the bottom of the aquarium
comparable to metal halide. Pacific Sun lamp has been designed as a pendant lamp for

A totally new T5 fixture with ultra-efficient cooling and Wi-Fi on-board. The Althea will
guarantee your chosen tubes will work at 100% efficiency and even tell you when they
need replacing.
Ultra efficent cooling via the inbuilt 120mm low speed fans keep the ballasts and tubes
working at optimal performance.
Silicone spacers are utilized on the fans to eliminate vibration and aid super quiet
operation.
The Althea features high quality Alanod anodized (silver coated) aluminum reflectors
98% light reflection delivering maximum PAR output, satisfying the most demanding reef
keeper.

A modified version of original Althea T5 – with two pairs high efficiency LED strips for
additional corals fluorescence instead of pair of T5 bulbs.
Althea Hybrid T5 fixture have ultra-efficient cooling and Wi-Fi controller on-board. The
Althea will guarantee your chosen tubes will work at 100% efficiency and even tell you
when they need replacing!

Pandora Hyperion R2+ is a combination LED + T5 hybrid lamp bringing the best of both
light sources together. It’s equipped with our newest Hyperion R2+ LED panel made in
SMT technology (Square Matrix Technology).
Pandora Hyperion R2+ lamps can easily penetrate water over 36″ deep and is available
in 4 sizes covering a wide range of tanks.
The SMT provides the perfect mix of colors all LED channels and an extraordinary visual
experience – very strong shimmer at the bottom of the aquarium comparable to metal
halide. Pacific Sun lamp has been designed as a pendant lamp for open aquariums. It must
not be used in enclosed aquariums below the canopy.
Hyperion R2+ panels include also warm white LEDs – so it’s a main difference between
Hyperion S (no white LEDs) and Hyperion R2+ series.

5.1. Connecting Lamp to your home Wi-Fi network
1.Connect power to the PS device.
Find your PS DEVICE on you Wi-Fi
network list devices.
Click Connect directly to the
PS DEVICE Wi-Fi Network.
2.Find a sticker on the device with
a Wi-Fi network password:

5.Open the Device WiFi
network setup.
Open your Internet Browser and
type the device WiFi network
IP address 192.168.4.1 into the
address field.

Switch to STA+AP mode
Under WiFi Association you
should see Scanning for available
home Wi-Fi networks.
6.Connect device to Home
WiFi network.
Select your Home WiFi
network under Network
SSID.
Type in your Home WiFi
network password, if
applicable.
Next Click: Connect!
After this step the device will be
available under your Home WiFi
network usually with IP address

Disconnect power and Connect
