ordamagetothedeviceanditsaccessoriesincertaincircumstances.
ThisusermanualispartofthePacojet Juniorandmustbemadeavailableatallmes.Ifthe
devicechangeshands,thisdocumentmustbegiventothenewowner.

AllmaincomponentsandaccessoriesinthePacojet Juniorthatcomeintocontactwithfood
duringthepacozingprocessmakeupthedirect food processing system.
2. Using the Pacojet Junior
2.1 Proper and improper use
ThePacojet Junior isakitchendeviceforcommercialandprivateuse.Pacozingenableschefs
to“micro-puree”fresh,deep-frozenfoodswithoutthawingintoultra-lightmousses,naturally
freshicecreamsandsorbetsoraromacsoups,saucesorllings.
Anyusagethatgoesbeyondthedescriponprovidedhere,includingtheprocessingof
othersubstances,cancauseinjuriesanddamage.Anyimproperusageasdenedhereisnot
permied!
2.2 Aspectsrelangtofoodhygiene
Whileworkingwithfood,alwaysobservehygienestandardsandcomplywithanylegal
standardsconcerningfoodpreparaon.
Onlyeverprocessfresh,boneless,frozenproduce.
Beforepacozing,producemustbefrozenatatemperatureofbetween-18°Cand-23°Cfora
periodofatleast24hours.

Dependingonthecontentofthefoodpreparaon,thecoretemperaturemayincreaseupto
-3°Cduringpacozing.Consequently,pacozedfoodmustbeprocessedquicklytoprevent
itfromspoilingandposingahealthrisk.Anyunrequiredfoodleinsidethebeakeraer
pacozing,whetherfrozenorun-frozen,shouldbeplacedbackintothefreezerimmediately.
Beforedoingso,ensurethattheprocessedfoodinsidethebeakerissmoothedat.
Onlyeverprocess(boneless)foodinthemachine.Othermaterialsareexpresslyprohibited.
3. Safety notes
Readthefollowingsafetynotesinfulltopreventinjuryanddamage.Donotstartupthedevice
unlyouhavereadandunderstoodthesenotes.
Intheeventofuncertaintyorquesons,pleasecontactyourPACOJETsalespointbefore
starngupthedevice(seeChapter“15.Customerservice”onpage 34).
3.1 General safety
• ThePacojet Juniormustalwaysbeusedinaccordancewiththe
instruconsprovidedinthisusermanual.Failuretoobservethis
manualcanresultininjuries,damagetothedevice,and /or
contaminaonofthefoodbeingprocessed.
• ThePacojet Juniormayonlybeusedbypersonswhobeen
instructedinhowtooperateitsafely.
• Thedeviceanditsaccessoriesmustbekeptawayfromandstored
outofreachofchildrenundertheageof8.
• Thedeviceshouldonlybeusedbychildrenovertheageof8and
personswithlimitedphysical,sensory,andmentalabilityifthey
havebeeninstructedinhowtouseitandarebeingsupervised.
Theymustunderstandtherisksinvolvedinusingthedevice.
• Childrenmustnotplaywiththedevice.Childrenmustalwaysbe
supervisedwhencleaningthedevice.
• Thedeviceissealedandmayonlybeopened,repaired,and
servicedbyanocialservicepartner.
• Neverremoveanyaccessories(e.g.,protecveand /orpacozing
beakers)whilethedeviceisrunning.
• OnlyoriginalPACOJETaccessoriesintendedforthisdevicemaybe
usedduringoperaon.
• NeveruseanyaccessoriesfromotherdevicesinthePacojet line
(e.g.,Pacojet 1, 2 or 2plus)iftheyareintendedspecicallyforthese
devices.
• Theaccessoriesprovidedmustonlyeverbeusedforthepurposes
describedinthisusermanual.

• ThePacojet Juniormustneverbeplacedindirectproximityto
outletsorkitchendevicesthatarepronetosplaeringoremitheat,
grease,orsteam.
• TakecarewhenunpackingthePacojet Junior asthedeviceisheavy.
Ifpossible,seekassistancefromanotherpersonwhenunpacking
thedevice.Makesureyoudonotbumporinjureyourselfwhen
unpackingandposioningthedevice.Somepartsofthedevice
havesharpedges.
• Thedeviceemitsnoisesduringoperaon.Seetheemissionsvalues
inChapter“10.Technicalspecicaons”.
• Alwaysunplugthepowersupplyifthedeviceisleunsupervised
forlongperiodsofme.
• NeveraempttobypassthesafetyswitchinstalledonthePacojet
Juniorformakingsurethatprotecveandpacozingbeakersare
aachedcorrectly.
• Neverstartthedevicewithoutapacozingandprotecvebeaker.
• Donotopenanyscrewedcoversorthedevicehousing.
• Nevermodifythedevice,itscomponents,oraccessories.
• Beforeusingthedevicefortherstme,performaninialcleaning
processinaccordancewithChapter“8.1.3Inialcleaningprocess”.
• ThePacojet Junior must never be used to process products
oringredientsthatreleasegasduringprocessingand,asa
result,causethepressureinthepacozingbeakertoriseinan
uncontrolledmanner,suchasliquidnitrogen(N)initspureform
orcarbondioxide(CO2)inaboundstatewhentheproductinthe
beakercontainscarbondioxide.

3.2 Riskresulngfromelectricalcurrent
• BeforeconnecngthePacojet Juniortothemainspowersupply,
makesurethatthemainsvoltage /frequencyspeciedonthetype
plateisguaranteed.OnlyeverusethedevicewiththeACcurrent
speciedonthetypeplate.
• Foraddionalprotecon,werecommendinstallingaresidual
currentcircuitbreakerwith20mA.
• Ifyoudetectanyabnormalies(e.g.,smoke,noises)during
operaon,switchothedevicestraightawayanddisconnectit
fromthemains(unplugthedevice).
• Onlyeverusethedevicewhenitisfreefromtechnicalfaults.
• Checkthedeviceandconnecngcableforexternaldamagebefore
eachuse.Neverusethedevice,connecngcable,andaccessoriesif
theyaredamaged.
• Ifyounoceanydamagetothedeviceoritsaccessoriesduring
operaon,switchothePacojet Junioratthemainsswitchand
unplugthemainsplug.
• AlwayshavethedevicerepairedbyanocialPACOJETservice
partner.Neverrepairthedeviceyourself.
• Neversubmergethedeviceinwater.Donotexposethedeviceto
highlevelsofmoisture.
• Alwaysunplugthepowersupplyifthedeviceisleunusedforlong
periodsofme.
• Whendisconnecngthedevicefromthemains,alwaystakeholdof
theplugitselfandnottheconnecngcable.
• Nevertouchtheconnecngcableandmainsplugwithwethands.
• Makesurethattheconnecngcabledoesnotgettwistedortrapped.

5. Descriponofthedevice
5.1 Properes
ThePacojet Junior isaninnovavekitchendeviceforcommercialandprivateuse.Itcanbe
usedtocarefullyprocessfrozenproducewithoutneedingtodefrostit.Thedevicecreatesne
pureesandmoussesinasingleprocess.Thefoodisprocessedusingposivepressure,which
helpstomakeitsavormoreintense.Thisprocessisreferredtoaspacozing.

6.1 Unpackingthedevice

• Takecarewhenunpackingthedevice,itisheavy.
• Ifpossible,seekassistancefromanotherpersonwhenunpacking
thedevice.
• Makesureyoudonotbumporinjureyourselfwhenunpacking
thedevice.Somepartsofthedevicehavesharpedges.

UnpackthePacojet Junior.Removethepackagingmaterial,adhesivestrips,andprotecve
lmsfromthedevice.
Storethepackagingmaterial(cardboardboxandstyrofoaminserts)
fortransport,storage,andpossiblereturns(e.g.,intheeventof
maintenance).
6.2 Checkingthescopeofdelivery
Checkthecontentsofthepackagingtomakesureallpartsarecompleteandinagood
condion(seeChapter“4.Scopeofdelivery”onpage 10).
