1.2 DESTINAZIONE D’USO
Il “connection box” è un dispositivo che consente
di interfacciare una stufa a pellet Palazzetti, ad
un dispositivo di telefonia mobile o ad una rete
internet.
E’ possibile utilizzare il connection box
esclusivamente utilizzando l’apposita
applicazioneperdispositivimobili“PALAZZETTI”
disponibile sui rispettivi store.
Il “connection box” può essere utilizzato solo in
abbinamento ai modelli di stufa predisposti.
L’apparecchio non è destinato ad essere usato
da persone (bambini compresi) le cui capacità

con mancanza di esperienza o di conoscenza,

L’installazione del connection box consta dei
seguenti semplici passaggi:

4.1 COLLEGAMENTO ALLA STUFA
Il collegamento del connection box alla stufa
può avvenire in modo diverso in base al modello
di stufa in possesso.
4.1.1 Stufe a pellet già predisposte di fabbrica
Se la stufa a pellet in possesso presenta già una
porta RJ11 femmina libera, vuole dire che è già
predisposta per ospitare il connection box. Sarà

In questo caso non sarà necessario utilizzare lo
splitter fornito in dotazione con la confezione.
4.1.2 Installazione attraverso pannello comandi
con connettore RJ11
Per tutte le stufe a pellet non predisposte e
che prevedono un pannello di comando con

 Assicurarsi che la stufa sia spenta e senza
alimentazione
 Scollegare il connettore RJ11 dal retro del
SDQQHOORFRPDQGLGHOODVWXID¿J
 Collegare lo splitter al pannello comandi
della stufa attraverso il cavetto RJ11

 Collegare il cavetto precedentemente
staccato dal pannello comandi e quello del

4.1.3 Installazione attraverso connettore Modu2 a
quattro poli
Questainstallazionedeveesserenecessariamente
effettuata da personale specializzato Palazzetti.
Per tutte le stufe a pellet Palazzetti non
predisposte e che non prevedono un pannello
di comando con connettore posteriore di tipo
RJ11, è necessario effettuare il collegamento
del connection box direttamente sulla scheda
elettronica della stufa.
Collegamento:
 Assicurarsi che la stufa sia spenta e senza
alimentazione

Box e al cavetto M/RJ11- F/MODU2 4pin.
 Collegare il cavetto MODU2 4 pin al relativo
connettore sulla scheda elettronica della

RESET DEL CONNECTION BOX
Il connection box è dotato di tasto di reset, che
l’utente può usare nel momento in cui vuole
riportare il dispositivo alle impostazioni di
fabbrica.
Utilizzo:
 Scollegare l’alimentazione dal connection
box
 premere il pulsante di reset e
contemporaneamente collegare
l’alimentazione senza rilasciare il tasto
 mantenere premuto per 30 secondi il tasto
di reset.
Per utilizzare il Connection Box è
necessario installare sul proprio
dispositivo mobile l’apposita app
“PALAZZETTI”, disponibile sullo store
del proprio dispositivo.

The connection box is a device for interfacing a
Palazzetti pellet stove to a cellular phone or the
internet.
You can use the Connection Box on your mobile
device just by installing the appropriate app
“PALAZZETTI”, available on the store of your
device.
The connection box may only be used with
compatible stoves.
The appliance is not intended for use by people
(including children) with reduced physical,

2 SAFETY

4.1 HOOKUP TO STOVE
The type of hookup depends on the stove in
question.

If your pellet stove has already has a free
female RJ11 socket, it is ready to hook up to
the connection box. You need only connect the
connection box’s RJ11 connector to the stove

4.1.2 Installation via control panel with RJ11
connector

4.1.3 Installation using Modu2 4p connector
This type of installation may only be done by a
Palazzetti technician.
For all Palazzetti stoves which are not pre-

its back, the connection box must be connected
directly to the stove’s electronics.
Hookup:
 Make sure the stove is out and switched off

connection box and the RJ11 male/MODU2
4pin female cable.
 Connect the MODU2 4 pin connector to the
appropriate connector on the stove’s PCB.
4.2 SECURING THE CONNECTION BOX
TO THE STOVE
The connection box mounts to the stove with the
included adhesive velcro strips.
 Find a cold position on the back of the stove,
which is also located so as not to get in the
way of maintenance or impede the stove’s
operation
 Stick the velcro to the connection box and
the stove itself, and position the connection
boxinsuchawaythatitsantennais directed

 Secure any loose cables to the stove’s back
panel with a tie.

4.3 POWERING UP THE CONNECTION

RESETTING THE CONNECTION BOX
The connection box has a reset button which
restores the device’s factory settings.
Operation:
 Disconnect the connection box from its
power supply
 Press and hold down the reset button while
reconnecting the power supply
 Keep holding the reset button down for 30
seconds.
You can use the Connection Box on
your mobile device just by installing
the appropriate app “PALAZZETTI”,
available on the store of your device.

3.2 BESTIMMUNGSZWECK
Die „Connection Box“ ist ein Gerät, das es
ermöglicht, einen Pelletofen von Palazzetti mit
einemMobiltelefon oder einemInternetanschluss
zu verbinden.
Um die Connection Box benutzen zu können
muss auf Ihren Smart Phone oder anderes
ähnliches Gerät wie z.B. Tablet, die dafür
vorgesehene App installiert werden. Diese wird
in den App Stores zur Verfügung stehen.
Die„Connection Box“kannnur inKombinationmit
vorgerüstetenOfenmodellenverwendetwerden.
Das Gerät darf nicht von Personen (Kinder
eingeschlossen) verwendet werden, deren
körperliche oder geistige Fähigkeiten oder
Sinnesorgane beeinträchtig sind oder die über
keine ausreichende Erfahrung oder Wissen
verfügen, sofern sie nicht von einer Person, die
fürihreSicherheitverantwortlichist,ausreichend
zum Gebrauch des Geräts angeleitet wurden.
Der oben genannte Bestimmungszweck ist der
einzige, der vom Hersteller genehmigt wird.

4 SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Die in diesem Handbuch enthaltenen
Vorschriften sind strikt zu befolgen.
Der Benutzer muss alle lokalen, nationalen und
europäischen Rechtsvorschriften zur Sicherheit
befolgen.
Führen Sie keine losen elektrischen Anschlüsse
mit provisorischen oder nicht isolierten Kabeln

5 BESCHREIBUNG
Die Connection Box ist mit allem ausgestattet,
was für den Anschluss an einen vorgerüsteten
Pelletofen von Palazzetti erforderlich ist.

6 INSTALLATION
Die Installation der Connection Box erfordert
folgende einfache Schritte:
 MontagederAntenneaufderConnectionBox
ACHTUNG! Schrauben Sie die Antenne bis
zum Anschlag fest.
 Anschluss des Geräts an den Ofen von
Palazzetti
 Befestigung der Connection Box am Ofen
 Stromversorgung der Connection Box
6.1 ANSCHLUSS AN DEN OFEN
DerAnschluss der Connection Box an den Ofen
kann je nach Ofenmodell sehr unterschiedlich
sein.
6.1.1 Werkseitig vorgerüstete Pelletöfen
Wenn der Pelletofen bereits über eine freie
RJ11-Buchse verfügt, bedeutet dies, dass er
bereitsfürdieConnectionBoxvorgerüstetist.Es
genügt somit, den RJ11-Stecker der Connection
Box an den Ofen anzuschließen (Abb. 4.1).
In diesem Fall ist eine Verwendung der im
Lieferumfang inbegriffenen Splitter nicht
erforderlich.
6.1.2 Installation mittels Steuertafeln mit RJ11-
Stecker
Bei allen nicht vorgerüsteten Pelletöfen, die
über eine Steuertafel mit hinterem Stecker des
Typs RJ11 verfügen (Abb. 4.2):
 Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Ofen
ausgeschaltet und vom Stromnetz getrennt
ist.
 Trennen Sie den RJ11-Stecker von der
Rückseite der Steuertafel des Ofens (Abb.
4.2).
 Schließen Sie den Splitter mittels der RJ11-
Litze (Stecker – Stecker) an die Steuertafel
des Ofens an (Abb. 4.3a).
 Schließen Sie die zuvor von der Steuertafel
getrennte Litze und jene der Connection
Box an den Splitter an (Abb. 4.3b).

6.1.3 Installation mittels vierpoligen Modu2-
Steckers
Diese Installation darf ausschließlich von
fachkundigem Personal von Palazzetti
durchgeführt werden.
Bei allen nicht vorgerüsteten Pelletöfen von
Palazzetti, die nicht mit einer Steuertafel mit
hinterem Stecker des Typs RJ11 ausgestattet
sind, muss der Anschluss der Connection Box
direkt an der Platine des Ofens erfolgen.
Anschluss:
 Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Ofen
ausgeschaltet und vom Stromnetz getrennt
ist.
 Schließen Sie den Splitter (Abb. 4.4) an
die Connection Box sowie an die Litze M/
RJ11-F/MODU2 4pin an.
 Schließen Sie die Litze MODU2 4 pin an
den entsprechenden Stecker auf der Platine
des Ofens an.
6.2 BEFESTIGUNG DER CONNECTION
BOX AM OFEN
Die Befestigung der Connection Box am Ofen
erfolgt durch Anbringung des im Lieferumfang
inbegriffenen zweiseitigen Klettverschlusses am
Ofen sowie an der Connection Box.
 Ermitteln Sie auf der Rückseite des Ofens
eine kalte Stelle, sodass es bei etwaigen
Wartungsarbeiten sowie beim korrekten
Betrieb des Ofens zu keinen Interferenzen
kommt.
 Bringen Sie den Klettverschluss an
beiden Seiten an und positionieren Sie die
Connection Box so, dass die Antenne der
Box nach unten zeigt (Abb. 4.5).
 Vergewissern Sie sich, dass etwaige lose
KabelmiteinemKabelbinderanderhinteren
Tafel des Ofens befestigt werden.
