2. Overview
SIP-CS Maintenance Tool is a useful tool for performing the following functions:
•Conducting the tree survey
The tree survey is a feature that creates the most suitable air synchronization tree automatically based
on the location of each CS.
You must use this tool if the number of SIP-CS are over 9 pcs per one air sync group.
After CS synchronization has been done, you can use this feature.
•Monitoring air synchronization
After registering the CS to the system, be sure to monitor the status of air synchronization. If the
monitoring results are not satisfactory, please relocate the CSs and try again.
•Acquiring Internal Log Information
You can acquire the Internal Log Information of each SIP-CSs for maintenance and trouble
shooting.
•Additional Language Support
Import alternative language XML file.
2.1. Account Login ID and Password
Access to the CS Maintenance Tool requires the following login ID and password:

•The password can consist of 6 to 16 ASCII characters
(case-sensitive).
Notice
• The user password is required to change the settings.
• The IDs can be changed through configuration file programming
(
see Administrator Guide
"ADMIN_ID" in 4.2.1 Login Account Settings).
• You can reset the account IDs and passwords to their factory default settings by pressing the
RESET SW on the back of the SIP-CS. For details, see Administrator Guide 8.1 Resetting to
Factory Default.
2.2. Recommended Environment
The CS Maintenance Tool will operate correctly in the following environments:
