Nice taste
Provides the natural taste of the tea.
Inner container with charcoal far infrared fluorine
Boiling with "Bincho" charcoal
¥ The surface of the inner container is coated with
fluorine mixed with powdered 'Bincho' charcoal,
famous for its far infrared effect. This produces water
bringing out the color, taste, and fragrance of the tea.

charcoal filter and, the water is purified by active
charcoal.
¥ When the button "Reboil" is pressed during

¥ When the unlock button is pressed, the hot water in
the pipe is circulated and returned
once into the inner
container, so that hot water is dispensed from the very first drop.
Realization of energy savings
Better power savings than with maintaining of 98°C.
¥ A temperature of about 85¡C also is convenient for green tea.
Power savings by timer setting before going to sleep or going out.
Example: Setting to "8 hours" at 10 o'clock in the evening will start
heating 8 hours later at 6 o'clock and then the water will be kept hot.

To Prevent Burns
Do not fill with water beyond the full pot mark.
Hot water can spill causing burns.
Do not boil anything other than water.
If tea bags, tea leaves, milk or alcohol are put in the container,
they may cause it to spurt hot liquid or steam and you may be
seriously burned.Those items may also cause the water tube to
become clogged. The container may burn or corrode, and the
fluororesin insulating coating may peel off.
Do not tilt or knock over the main unit.
Even when the flow control pad is locked, if the main unit is
knocked over, hot water may flow from the dispensing spout or
the steam vent. You may be seriously burned.
Do not allow children to use the unit and do not leave the
unit within the reach of infants.
They may be seriously burned, or receive an electrical shock
and they can die from their injuries.
WARNING
Do not immerse the unit in water or pour water over it.
It may cause a short circuit and you may receive an electrical
shock.
Never disassemble, repair or modify the unit.
It may start a fire. The unit may operate abnormally and you may
be seriously injured.

For repairs (other than replacing consumable parts), please
contact our Service Center.
Do not put ice into the container and try to use it keep water
cool.
Condensation may occur, and later you may receive an electrical
shock or the unit may malfunction.
Handling
Close the lid securely.
If the unit tips over with the lid unsecured, hot water will gush out
and you may be seriously burned.
Do not lift, tilt or shake the unit. Do not move the unit by the
lid.
Even when the flow control pad is locked, if the main unit is tilted,
hot water may flow from the dispensing spout or the steam vent.

To Prevent Burns

Do not try to empty leftover hot water while the lid is attached.
If the lid comes off, hot water may splash on you and you may be
seriously burned.
Do not force the lid to close.
Hot water can spill causing burns.
Do not ever block the steam vent.
Hot water may spurt out and you may be seriously burned.
Do not touch the steam vent with your hand.
You may be burned. Pay special attention so that infants cannot
reach the steam vent.
Do not allow infants access to the power cord.
You must pay special attention to prevent infants from putting
the plug for the unit into their mouths.
This may result in electric shock or injury.
Do not allow small metal parts near the unit plug.
You may receive an electrical shock, or they may cause a short
circuit or catch fire.
Do not connect or disconnect the power plug or the unit plug
with wet hands.
You may receive an electrical shock.
Use a single outlet that matches the power rating of the unit.
If this unit and another appliance are plugged into an outlet at the
same time, the outlet may get hot and it can cause a fire.
Push the power plug all the way into the wall outlet.
If the plug is inserted improperly, you may receive an electrical
shock. The plug can get hot and it may cause a fire.

Do not use a damaged plug or a connection in a loose outlet.
Remove any dirt from the power plug or the unit plug right
away.
If dirt accumulates on the plugs, moisture may cause a loss of
insulation and it may cause a fire.

Disconnect the plugs and wipe them with a dry cloth.
Be very careful not to damage the power cord, wall plug or
the plug for the unit.
Do not damage or modify these items. Keep them away from
heating devices. Do not force the cord to bend tightly, twist it or
pull on it. Do not place a heavy object on the cord. Do not
bundle it together with another cord.
If a damaged cord or damaged plugs are used, you may receive
an electrical shock or they may cause a short circuit or a fire.

Do not open the lid or dispense hot water while it is boiling.
You may be burned by splashing hot water or steam.
When opening the lid, keep your hand away from the steam.
You may be burned.
Do not rotate the main unit while dispensing hot water.
You may be burned by splashing hot water.
Do not use the unit on an unstable surface or on a plush carpet.
The unit may tip over and you may be seriously burned.
Do not touch the hot part of the main unit during or shortly after use.
Otherwise, you may be seriously burned.
When carrying the main unit, do not touch the lid opening lever.
If you do, the lid may open, and you may be seriously burned.
Wait until the unit gets cold before performing any maintenance.
Otherwise, you may be seriously burned.

When discarding hot water, be careful not to get burned.
When the unit is not being used, unplug the power cord from the outlet.
If the insulation deteriorates, you may receive an electrical shock or it may cause an electrical short or a fire.
To disconnect the power cord, be sure to pull the plug out of the outlet while holding the plug. Never pull
on the cord.
You may receive an electrical shock or the cord may start a fire due to a short circuit.
Only use the power cord designed specifically for the unit. Do not use a different cord and do not use
this cord with any other device.
It may cause a malfunction or it may start a fire.
Do not use the unit near a wall or close to furniture.
The wall or the furniture may be damaged due to steam or heat. They may become discolored or deformed.

Use a different container to fill the pot with water.

Heating will start automatically.
1. Open the lid and fill in water.
2. Heat the water.
¥ Do not fill in water directly from a faucet. (The water may
overflow, get into the electric parts, and cause trouble.)
¥ Fill in water to a position from the "Refill" mark to the "Top
level" mark. (When there is too little water, the function for
prevention of empty heating will operate, and when there is too
much water, hot water may spill from the spout.)
¥ When water is heated in a kettle and filled into the jar pot, the
function for prevention of empty heating may operate.

When the water has been boiled, this will be announced
by a buzzer and will be shown on the display.

If an empty container is heated, the overheat safety
function (which prevents an empty container from
being heated) will be activated. The power will be
shut off automatically to prevent the problems that
can occur due to overheating. This will be shown on
the display.
When the container is heated with no water in it or with the
water level below the low water level line, a bad smell may
be caused or the fluororesin coating may become discolored.
Please observe the following.
¥Do not connect the power without pouring water into the
container.
¥Do not boil water when the level is too low.
¥After water is added, do not leave the lid open.

the end of dispensing.
Place the vessel at the dispensing position and dispense hot water.
The unlock lamp goes out and no hot water will be dispensed
even when the button is pressed.
The dispensing quantity can be adjusted by the force
with which the button is pressed.

¥ For some time after boiling, bubbles from the boiling may
get into the pump and dispensing may be impaired.
This can be corrected by opening and closing the lid.

Convenient use methods
¥
Electricity can be saved by lowering the holding temperature from about 98¡C to about 85¡C or about 60¡C.
¥ Use the timer when the jar pot is not to be used for some time, for example at night.
Setting is possible in steps of 4, 6, 8, and 10 hours.
¥ Further savings are possible by combining the timer and a holding temperature of 85¡C or 60¡C.
Tip:
¥ A water temperature of
about 85¡C is also
appropriate for green tea.
¥ Holding at 85¡C also can
be set during heating.
Tip:
¥ The timer also can be set during heating.
In this case, the water first will be heated until it boils.
¥ The remaining time is indicated in units of 1 hour.
¥ The temperature will drop, but a minimum temperature
of about 60¡C will be maintained.
Example: Setting for 8 hours at 10 o'clock in the evening
