The operating instructions for the PAravan rotating seat base have been produced on
the German language and can be translated into other languages, however in the case of
potentail differences the German version is legally binding. .

These operating insturctions do not constitue a maintenance and repait manual and
therefore are not suitable to use for the private carrying out of maintenance and repair
work, or to provide instruction on this. They provide you with information about the na-
tureofthedesignandoperationoftherotatingseatbase.Themostsignicaantproduct
features are listed and described in the following.
These operating insturctions are an essentail part of the rotating seat base
product and must alwasys be kept in the vehicle so that you can quickly access
all important inforamtion. All page and directional inforamtion in thes documen-
tationisalwaysspeciedfromthepointofviewoftheoperatorandinthedirec-
tion of travel!

The operation of the Paravan cassette lift without faults or malfunctions can only be
guaranteed if the knowledge gained from these operating insturctions is observed and
implemented. PARAVAN GmbH does not accept any liability or guarantee for damage or
malfunctions which result during operation due to the non-observance of these opera-
tinginsturctionsorduetomodicationsmadetothecassettelift.

Guarantee services are based entirely on the respective Paravan gaurantee provisions.
Excluded from guarantee claims is damage which has occurred due to:

PARAVANGmbHreservestherighttoundertaketechnicalmodicationsandimprove-
ments to the product in the interest of our customers and progressive development.
Claims relating to the guarantee and warranty shall expire in the case of all mo-
dicationsmadetotheParavanrotatingseatbasenotauthorisedbyPARAVAN
GmbH. Furthermore, dangerous malfunctions cannot be ruled out!

Danger of injury fpr persons when operating cassette lift which
does not correspond to the orginal or delivered condition.
Marerial damage to the cassette lift by the use of non-auto-
rised parts or incorrectly installed parst.

dition..
›Only use original or authorised spare parts.

2.2 Target group
The operator must acquire or gain a level of knowledge relating to the following points
befor operating the rotating seat base:
›Knowledge of the content of the operating instructions in order to safely operate and
also be able to move the cassette lift.
›Knowledge of the safety and operating provisions listed herein in order to recognise
potential danger of dangerous and evert these fot the user and the enviroment.
As a user, please ensure you receive sufcient training when the product is
supplied. If necessary, please contact us.

When reading the operating instructions you will encounter the following symbols and
warning symbols.
The „Caution Danger!“ logo
Indicatesdangerpoints.Thecounteractionmeasuresspreciedintherespectivetext
must be followed in all cases. This symbol is always used in combination with the res-
pectivesignalwordwhichreectsthelevelofdanger:
›Danger! - Direct danger to life and limb (irreversibel).
›Warning - potential danger to life and limb (irreversibel).
›Caution - potential danger to life and limb (reversibel).
›Caution - potential damage to the vehicle.
Additional inforamtion for the user e.g. in order to simlify the operation of the
cassette lift and/ or avoid damage to the cassette lift.

3.1 General Hazard wanings
For your protection, as well as to protect the people in your environment and the environment, the following
safety instructions must be observed and strictly followed.
DANGER!
Risk of injury tp persons in case of faulty operation of the Pa-
ravan rotating seats.
Crushing due to intervention in moving parts
Danger of falling by driving off the vehicle
Property damage through the use of seta covers
›Do not bring objects into the area of moving parts.
›Do not reach into the moving area of the moving parts with
your hands.
›Do not press the swivel seat console while driving
›Always secure the electrical console in accordance with the
technicalspecications.Donotincreasethesafetyinstru-
tions!.

Damage to the cassette lift by using the cassette as a step
›Enter the vehicle as a pedestrain only when the cassette lift
is retracted.
