The operating instructions are part of this product.
They contain important information about safety,
usage and disposal. Before using the product,
please familiarise yourself with all operating and
safety instructions. Use the product only as described
and for the specified range of applications. Please
also pass these operating instructions on to any
future owner.
Intended use
This portable appliance is intended for general
ventilation in most household areas. Use this appli-
ance only as described and for the areas of appli-
cations specified. The appliance is not intended for
commercial use. The appliance is designed for use
by adults. Any other usage or modification of the
appliance is deemed to be improper and
carries a significant risk of accidents. The manufac-
turer accepts no responsibility for damage attribut-
able to misuse.

■ Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all other
parts of the body away from the openings and
moving parts.
■ Switch off the appliance before removing the
battery.
■ Only use the mains adapter or charger supplied
by the manufacturer. Accessories that may be
suitable for one particular cordless fan can may
no longer be safe if used with others.
■ Do not charge the battery outdoors.
■ Do not expose to fire or high temperatures.
■ Do not use near naked flames, smouldering
ashes or explosive substances, e.g. in the pres-
ence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Cord-
less fans can produce sparks that can ignite
dust or fumes.
■ Do not use this product to blow off hazardous
or explosive materials and fumes. It is intended
for general ventilation only.
■ Switch the appliance off immediately if you
notice anything unusual.
■ Do not leave the appliance unattended when
it is switched on.

mains cables should be replaced

Damaged power cords can result in danger
to life due to electric shock.
Original accessories/attachments
■Use only the additional equipment and acces-
sories specified in the operating instructions.
Using attachments or accessory tools other than
those recommended in the operating instruc-
tions can lead to a risk of injury.

Before use
Charging the battery pack
(seefig.A)
CAUTION!
► Always unplug the appliance before you
remove the battery pack from or connect
the battery pack to the high-speed charger
.
■ Never charge the battery pack if the ambient
temperature is below 10°C or above 40°C.
♦ Insert the battery pack into the high-speed
charger .
♦ Insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
The control LED lights up red.
♦ The green control LED indicates that the
charging process is complete and the battery
pack is ready for use.
CAUTION!
♦ If the red control LED flashes, this
means that the battery pack has over-
heated and cannot be charged.
♦ If the red and green control LEDs
both flash, this means that the battery pack
is defective.
♦ Push the battery pack into the appliance.

♦ Press the release button and remove the
battery pack .
Checking the battery charge level
♦ To check the battery status, press the battery
charge level button . The status/
remaining charge will be shown on the battery
display LED as follows:
RED/ORANGE/GREEN = maximum charge/
performance
RED/ORANGE = medium charge/performance
RED = low charge – charge the battery

Switching on/off
Switching on in 1st gear at 1400 rpm
♦ Push the ON/OFF switch into position I.
Switching on in 2nd gear at 2100 rpm
♦ Push the ON/OFF switch into position II.
Switching off
♦ Reset the ON/OFF switch into position 0.
Adjusting the fan head
♦ Turn the fan head to the desired position.
There are 8 setting options available for this
purpose.
Carrying handle
♦ Carry the appliance by the carrying handle .
Fastening hook
♦ Fold the hook out of the stand so that you
can secure it in a suitable place, such as
attaching a wall hook.

Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! Always
switch the appliance off and remove
the battery before carrying out any
work on the appliance.
■ Never allow liquids to get into the appliance.
■ Use a damp cloth to clean the housing. Never
use petrol, solvents or cleansers which can
damage plastic.
■ If a lithium-ion battery is going to be stored for
an extended period, the charge level should be
checked regularly. The optimum charge level is
between 50% and 80%. The optimum storage
environment is cool and dry.
Disposal
The packaging is made from environ-
mentally friendly material and can be
disposed of at your local recycling
plant.
Do not dispose of power tools
in the normal domestic waste!
According to European Directive
2012/19/EU, used power tools must
be collected separately and recycled in an environ-
mentally sound manner.
Do not dispose of batteries in
your normal household waste!
Defective or worn-out rechargeable
batteries must be recycled according
to Directive 2006/66/EC. Take the
battery pack and/or the appliance to a nearby
collection facility.
Please contact your local authority or town council
for information about disposal options for used
power tools/battery packs.
Dispose of the packaging in an envi-
ronmentally friendly manner. Observe
the labels on the different packaging
materials and separate them as
needed. The packaging materials are labelled with
abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the
following meanings: 1–7: plastics, 20–22: paper
and cardboard, 80–98: composites.
Your local community or municipal
authorities can provide information
on how to dispose of the worn-out
product.
The product is recyclable, subject to
extended producer responsibility and is
collected separately.

warranty
Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the
date of purchase. If this product has any faults, you,
the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statu-
tory rights are not restricted in any way by the
warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase.
Please keep your receipt in a safe place. This will
be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within
three years of the date of purchase of the product,
we will either repair or replace the product for you
or refund the purchase price (at our discretion).
This warranty service requires that you present the
defective appliance and the proof of purchase
(receipt) within the three-year warranty period,
along with a brief written description of the fault
and of when it occurred.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your
product will either be repaired or replaced by us.
The repair or replacement of a product does not
signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
X 12 V and X 20 V Team Series battery packs
come with a 3-year warranty valid from the date of
purchase.
Warranty period and statutory claims
for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
effected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components. Any damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must be
reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs
carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall
be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accord-
ance with strict quality guidelines and inspected
meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production
faults. The warranty does not extend to product
parts subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile
parts which could be considered as consumable
parts such as switches or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has
been damaged, improperly used or improperly
maintained. The directions in the operating instruc-
tions for the product regarding proper use of the
product are to be strictly followed. Uses and
actions that are discouraged in the operating
instructions or which are warned against must be
avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be
deemed void in cases of misuse or improper
handling, use of force and modifications/ repairs
which have not been carried out by one of our
authorised Service centres.
The warranty period does not apply to
■ Normal reduction of the battery capacity
overtime
■ Commercial use of the product
■ Damage to or alteration of the product by the
customer
■ Non-compliance with safety and maintenance
instructions, operating errors
■ Damage caused by natural hazards

■ Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es beschä-
digt, verbogen oder gesprungen ist. Ein Akku-
Lüfter, der in irgendeiner Weise beschädigt zu
sein scheint oder unnormal arbeitet, muss sofort
außer Betrieb gesetzt werden.
Dies ist vor jedem Gebrauch zu überprüfen.
■ Fassen Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen an.
■ Stecken Sie keine Gegenstände in die Öffnungen.
■ Halten Sie Haare, lose Kleidung, Finger und
alle Körperteile von den Öffnungen und
beweglichen Teilen fern.
■ Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, bevor Sie den Akku
abnehmen.
■ Benutzen Sie nur das vom Hersteller gelieferte
Netzgerät oder Ladegerät. Zubehör, das für
einen bestimmten Akku-Lüfter geeignet sein
mag, kann bei Verwendung mit anderen zur
Gefahrenquelle werden.
■ Laden Sie den Akku nicht im Freien.
■ Nicht Feuer oder hohen Temperaturen aussetzen.
■ Nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen,
glimmender Asche oder explosiven Stoffen,
z. B. in Gegenwart von brennbaren Flüssigkeiten,
Gasen oder Staub benutzen.
Akku-Lüfter erzeugen Funken, die den Staub oder
die Dämpfe entzünden können.
■ Verwenden Sie dieses Produkt nicht, um
gefährliche oder explosive Materialien und
Dämpfe wegzublasen. Es ist nur zur allgemeinen
Belüftung vorgesehen.
■ Schalten Sie das Gerät sofort aus, wenn Sie ir-
gendwas Ungewöhnliches bemerken.
■ Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht eingeschaltet und
unbeaufsichtigt.

Vor der Inbetriebnahme
Akku-Pack laden (siehe Abb. A)
VORSICHT!
► Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker, bevor
Sie den Akku-Pack aus dem Schnell-
Ladegerät nehmen bzw. einsetzen.
■ Laden Sie den Akku-Pack nie, wenn die
Umgebungstemperatur unterhalb 10°C oder
oberhalb 40°C liegt.
♦ Stecken Sie den Akku-Pack in das Schnell-
Ladegerät .
♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose.
Die Kontroll-LED leuchtet rot.
♦ Die grüne Kontroll-LED signalisiert Ihnen,
dass der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen und der
Akku-Pack einsatzbereit ist.
ACHTUNG!
♦ Sollte die rote Kontroll-LED blinken, dann
ist der Akku-Pack überhitzt und kann nicht
aufgeladen werden.
♦ Sollte die rote und grüne Kontroll-LED
gemeinsam blinken, dann ist der Akku-
Pack defekt.
♦ Schieben Sie den Akku-Pack in das Gerät
ein.

Der Zustand bzw. die Restleistung wird in der
Akku-Display-LED wie folgt angezeigt:
ROT/ORANGE/GRÜN = maximale Ladung/

ROT/ORANGE = mittlere Ladung/Leistung
ROT = schwache Ladung – Akku aufladen

Einschalten im 1. Gang bei 1400 min-1
♦ Drücken Sie die den EIN-/AUS-Schalter in
die Position I.
Einschalten im 2. Gang bei 2100 min-1
♦ Drücken Sie die den EIN-/AUS-Schalter in
die Position II.
Ausschalten
♦ Drücken Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter in die
Position 0.
Ventilatorkopf verstellen
♦ Drehen Sie den Ventilatorkopf in die ge-
wünschte Position.
Es stehen Ihnen dazu 8 Einstellmöglichkeiten
zur Verfügung.
Tragegriff
♦ Tragen und transportieren Sie das Gerät an
dem Tragegriff .
Haken zur Befestigung
♦ Klappen Sie den Haken aus dem
Standfuß heraus, damit Sie diesen an einer
geeigneten Stelle, wie z. B. einen Wandhaken
befestigen können.

Reinigung und Wartung
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
Schalten Sie vor allen Arbeiten am
Gerät das Gerät aus und entnehmen
Sie den Akku.
■ Es dürfen keine Flüssigkeiten in das Innere der
Geräte gelangen.
■ Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Gehäuses ein
feuchtes Tuch. Verwenden Sie niemals Benzin,
Lösungsmittel oder Reiniger, die Kunststoff an-
greifen.
■ Soll ein Lithium-Ionen-Akku längere Zeit gela-
gert werden, muss regelmäßig der Ladezustand
kontrolliert werden. Der optimale Ladezustand
liegt zwischen 50 % und 80 %. Das optimale
Lagerungsklima ist kühl und trocken.
Entsorgung
Die Verpackung besteht aus umwelt-
freundlichen Materialien, die Sie über
die örtlichen Recyclingstellen entsorgen
können.
Werfen Sie Elektrowerkzeuge
nicht in den Hausmüll!
Gemäß Europäischer Richtlinie
2012/19/EU müssen verbrauchte
Elektrowerkzeuge getrennt gesammelt und einer
umweltgerechten Wiederverwertung zugeführt
werden.
Werfen Sie Akkus nicht
in den Hausmüll!
Defekte oder verbrauchte Akkus
müssen gemäß Richtlinie 2006/66/EG
recycelt werden. Geben Sie Akku-Pack
und/oder das Gerät über die angebotenen Sammel-
einrichtungen zurück.
Über Entsorgungsmöglichkeiten für ausgediente
Elektrowerkzeuge/Akku-Packs informieren Sie sich
bitte bei Ihrer Gemeinde- oder Stadtverwaltung.
Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung umwelt-
gerecht. Beachten Sie die Kennzeich-
nung auf den verschiedenen Ver-
packungsmaterialien und trennen Sie
diese gegebenenfalls gesondert. Die Verpackungs-
materialien sind gekennzeichnet mit Abkürzungen
(a) und Ziffern (b) mit folgender Bedeutung:
