Safety Instructions
Read all of these instructions before you operate your projector and save for future
reference. Whilst precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of this projector, misuse or
improper application may result in electrocution or fire.
1. Read instructions
All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the appliance is
operated.
2. Notes and Warnings
All notes and warnings in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
3. Cleaning
Unplug the projector from the wall socket before cleaning. Use a damp cloth for
cleaning the projector housing. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
4. Accessories
Do not place this product on an unstable surface. The product may fall,
causing serious damage to the product.
Keep plastic packing materials (from the projector, accessories and optional
parts) out of the reach of children.
5. Ventilation
The projector is equipped with ventilation holes (intake) and ventilation holes (exhaust).
Do not block or place anything near these slots, as internal heat build-up may occur,
causing picture degradation or damage to the projector.
6. Power sources
Check that the operating voltage of your unit is identical with the voltage of your local
power supply.
7. Servicing
Do not attempt to service this projector yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified
service personnel.
8. Replacement parts
When replacement parts are required, be sure that the replacement parts are
specified by the manufacture. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric
shock or other hazards.
9. Moisture Condensation
Never operate this projector immediately after moving it from a cold location to
a warm one. When the projector is exposed to such a change in temperature,
moisture may condense on the lens and the crucial internal parts. To prevent
the unit from possible damage, do not use the projector for at least 2 hours
when there is an extreme or sudden change in temperature.

11. Handling
When handling the projector, be sure not to drop or shake the unit. This could cause damage to
the lens. Disconnect all cables and plugs from the unit before moving. Do not hold the lens.
12. Humid Environment
Do not use the unit in a humid environment or near water, this may result in electrocution.

Installation
In order to minimize the risk of damages to the projector unit, the projector needs to be placed in a
dust free environment.
1. Direct Sunlight
The projector should not be placed in direct sunlight as this will result in unclear images and
viewing difficulty.
2. Projector Placement
Place the projector at the correct distance in order to obtain the desired picture size determine
this before installing by turning on the projector and walking backwards away from the screen,
image directed at the screen, until the image fills the screen. When ceiling mounting ensure
that the bracket and the projector is securely mounted in order to prevent injuries.
3. Do not block the intake vents
Leave a 20 cm distance between the projector vents and surrounding objects
Ensure the Projector vents are not blocked
If the projector detects that the unit is overheating, the unit will turn itself off. When the unit
has cooled down, it will return to its standard functions.
Use the projector remote control or the power button to turn off the unit. Once the unit has
been switched off, the cooling fan will continue to run in order to reduce the internal
temperature.

The following inputs can be used: HDMI, Composite Video, VGA and USB.
Videos and documents can be read by the projector unit through USB.

Hanger screw holes allow for the unit to be installed on a ceiling bracket. Use M5× 15 screws to fix
the unit.

The quality of the images will be affected by direct or bright lighting. For best viewing capabilities
view in a dark room.

Note:
Turn off the projector and the signal source before connecting any device.
Ensure that the correct cable is being inserted into the correct port failure to do so

1. Menu key
Display or exit the on-screen display menus.
2. Source key
Switches the projector input source i.e. Video/SV/ HDMI/TV/USB.
3. Power keys
Turn the projector on or off.
4. Indicator.
Red light - Standby mode
Green - Working mode.
5. Arrow keys
Adjusts the selection of the menu, function corresponds with the remote.
6. Confirm keys
Selects the desired function in the menu.

Remote Control Functions
Note:
The remote control may not operate when there is sunlight or other strong light such
as fluorescent lamp shining on the remote sensor.
Operate the remote control from a position where the remote sensor is visible.
Do not drop the remote control or jolt it.
Keep the remote control out of locations with excessively high temperature or humidity.
Do not get water on the remote control or place wet objects on it.
Do not disassemble the remote control.
Do not have one old and one new battery in the remote
Remove batteries should the remote not be used for long periods of time

Powering On/Off The Projector
Boot operation
1. Complete the AC power cord and peripheral signal cable(s) connections
2. Switch on power switch or alternatively press the “Power” button on the remote
3. The projector takes a minute or so to warm up, after a few seconds an image will appear on the
screen.
4. A new projector may have an unclear image, in this instance use the Keystone to adjust the image.
Turn off operations
1. Push power key once to turn off the unit
2. Push power key twice to switch the unit onto standby mode

Image Adjustments
Focus adjustment
1. Focus the image by rotating the focus ring in a clockwise direction (Picture 1) and then again
slowing in a counter clockwise rotation. It is best to focus the projector using a still image.
2. Turn the tuning focal ring to adjust the image size.
Keystone
Manually correct distorted images resulting from an angled projection. The Keystone correction knob
is shown in Picture 3. The maximum amplitude is ± 15 degrees. If the keystone correction knob is set
at its highest and does not eliminate distortion, shorten the distance between the projector and the
screen. The projection angle can be changed by rotating the base plate angle adjustment Lift bracket.

A new projector may have distorted proportions, in this instance use the

Menu Settings
1. Press Main Menu button on the projector
2. Use the ‘ ’ Arrow buttons to change the
current menu –Picture, Channel, Sound, Time,
Options and Application.
3. When the required menu has been found press
“ok”.
4. Press the ‘▲ ▼’ Arrow buttons to select the
Required setting (Figure 2).
5. Press ok on the required setting and use the
arrow key to change the setting.
6. Press the Menu button to confirm your settings.
Note: If a menu option is greyed out, this
item cannot be selected or changed.

Application mode instructions
1. Insert USB and select the Application Mode.
The screen will display the multimedia options
Menu (Figure 1)
2. Press " " key to choose the required
Multi Media Option - Picture, Channel, Sound, Time,
Options and Application.
3)Use the “OK” button on the remote control to select the
required option
Operating an Image File
1. In the Application menu use the " " to select
the picture option.
2. Use the arrow keys to select the image and press “OK”
3. Using the play button will allow the images to play
in a slide show format.
Operating a Music File
1. In the Application menu use the " " to select
the music option.
2. Use the arrow keys to select the music file and press
“OK”
3. Using the play button will allow the music files to play
consecutively.

Operating a Movie File
1. In the Application menu use the " " to select
the movie option.
2. Use the arrow keys to select the movie file and press
“OK” or play.
The operation of the text file
1. In the Application menu use the " " to select
the text option.
2. Use the arrow keys to select the text file and press
“OK” or play.

Troubleshooting
Refer to the symptoms and measures listed below before sending the projector for
repairs. If the problem persists, contact your local reseller or service center.
Start-up problems
If no lights turn on:
Be sure that the power cord is securely connected to the projector and the other
end is plugged into an outlet with power.
Press the power button again.
Unplug the power cord and wait for a short while, then plug it in and press the
power button again.
Image problems
If the searching source is displayed:
Press Source to select an active input source.
Be sure the external source is turned on and connected.
For a computer connection, ensure your notebook computer’s external video port
is turned on. Refer to the computer manual.
If the image is out of focus:
While displaying the on-screen menu, adjust the focus ring.
Check the projection lens to see if it needs cleaning.
Remote control problems
If the remote control does not operate:
Be sure nothing is blocking the remote control receiver on the front of the
projector. Use the remote control within the effective range.
Aim the remote control at the screen or at the front of the projector.
Move the remote control so it is more directly in front of the projector and not as
far to the side.
Check that the batteries are not flat
Sound Problems
If there is no sound:
Check that the volume is not on minimum or Mute
Check the Audio Input
Check that the audio equipment is not on Minimum or Mute
