When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

AirCirculatorcan beused asa hassock fan to pickup coolair
nearthefloorandcirculateit throughtheentireroom.
1.
To operate fan, turn the speed control knob, located
on the rear grill, to High “3”, Medium “2”, or Low
“1”. To turn the fan off, switch the speed control
knob to Off "
0
" position.
2.
It isnormal for the motor to feel warmto the touch
during operation. The motor is thermally protected
and will automatically shut off should it overheat for
any reason. If this happens, immediately disconnect
the fan from the power outlet.
TILT ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS
To adjust the angle of the fan simply use both hands to
adjust the fan head to the desired position.
CLEANING/MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to correctly and safely care for
your personal fan. Please remember:
REPLACEABLE FUSE
If your (2.5 Amp, 125 Volt) replaceable fuse blows,
please order a newfuse at1-800-333-1930. Follow the
below instructions to replace the fuse on the plug.
User Servicing Instructions
1.
Unplug your fan. Grasp plug and remove from the
receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by
pulling on cord.
2.
Open fuse cover, located
on the top of the plug, by
using your thumb or a
flathead screwdriver to
slide the cover down
towards the prongs.
NOTE: Ensure that fuse
cover is completely open
before attempting to remove fuse.
3.
Remove fuse carefully by using a small screwdriver
to pry the fuse out of the compartment by the metal
ends of the fuse. (see Figure 1)
4.
Place plug on a solid, flat surface. Insert new 2.5
Amp, 125 Volt fuse into fuse compartment and use a
small screwdriver to secure the metal ends of the
fuse into the compartment. CAUTION: Risk of fire.
Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse.
5.
Slide fuse cover closed completely. If fuse cover is
difficultto close,makesurefuseissecuredin place
completely by pressing downon metal ends of the fuse.
6.
Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. Contains
a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed.
Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.
FAN CLEANING
•
Alwaysunplugthefanbeforecleaningor disassembling.
•
Do notallowwatertodrip on orenterintofanhousing.
•
Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with a mild
soap solution.
•
Do not use any of the following as a cleaner:
gasoline, thinner, or benzene.
Fan Blade Cleaning Instructions
1.
Unlock the clips around the perimeter of the front
grill and use a Phillips Head screwdriver to remove
the screw at the bottom of the grill.
2.
Remove the front grill.
3.
Clean the fan blade, grill, housing and base with a
soft, damp cloth. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE
FAN BLADE. Please use caution around the motor
housing area. Do not allow the motor or other
electrical components to be exposed to water.
4.
Replace front grill onto rear grill and secure with the
clips and screw removed in the first step.
FAN STORAGE
When storing your fan in the off season, it is important to
keep it in a safe dry location. It is important to protect
the fan head from dust. We strongly recommend using
the original box from purchase.
